Sublime endroit restauré par des bénévoles
Dans certaines parties de la visite on peut regarder des témoignages d anciens combattants, c'était juste poignant.
A la fin, un jeu de son et lumière qui nous met dans l ambiance...
La visite a duré environ 2h en prenant notre temps. A voir absolument

J ai adoré visiter ce site vivant et vibrant d authenticité. Merci à tous les bénévoles qui ont rendu ce lieu tel qu'il est aujourd'hui et qui permet de nous immerger dans l histoire de notre pays ❤️❤️

En mi opinión el mejor de los mejores museos de la zona. Lo mejor, el avión C47 con los que se lanzaron los paracaidistas sobre Normandía, el cual es una replica exacta y se puede acceder a su interior.

While I think the story part of it is a little overdone, the site is preserved very well and is a great one to explore, especially for a British person.

Excellent museum about the Paras attack on the nazi German gun battery for D Day. Also a Dakota aircraft you can climb aboard. Interesting videos and displays shown in the concrete battery installations bring wartime scene and sounds to life.

La visite est faite sur un parcours numéroté et on peut regarder dans un bunker une vidéo - (un plan nous est donné à l'accueil)

Très beau site retraçant impeccablement le déroulement de la prise de la batterie de Merville par les Anglais. De façon "ludique", le parcours cinématographique m' a beaucoup émue. Les témoignages des survivants sont touchants.
Visite à faire sans hésiter !

Several bunkers in a big area. A big plane you could not get inside. We chose this as the ww2 museum in Normandy to visit because it was relatively safe for our two small kids (only one bunker with war sound and visiual effects). For adults I guess this is not the one you should choose. This is more of a memorial than a traditional museum.

Sehr beeindruckend. Wir haben den Rundgang mit Audioguide gemacht. Sehr zu empfehlen.

Ein tolles Museum, man hat mehere kleinere Bunker. Es ist perfekt bei gutem Wetter. Ein paar Denkmäler sind auch auf dem Gelände verteilt. Auch ein Bomber ist vor Ort. Der Ausflug hat mir auf jedenfall gefallen.

Très bien... j’ai bien aimé surtout la reconstitution d’une bataille avec les effets sonores...
