We ordered goulash with noodles, it was delicious, the soup with goose was so tasty.

This place is a gem. The goulash is full of juicy meat and tasty vegetables, with a robust broth. We shared several signature dishes and all of them were absolutely delicious. The small theatre in the back is a showcase for local productions and concerts.

Il posto è molto bello e la musica dal vivo crea una splendida atmosfera. Buon servizio e il cibo era ottimo.
Consiglio vivamente la Wiener schnitzel e il la zuppa di gulash.
Abbiamo speso meno di quanto pensassimo data la zona centrale.

I give them one start because i can’t give them less. The service was awful and the people who were working there were really rude. I would never recommend to anyone specially if you are a tourist.

Sehr leckeres Essen. Toller Service! Es gab sogar einen Pianisten, der wunderschön lavier gespielt hat, während wir gegessen haben. Auch die alkoholischen Getränke waren gut gefüllt. Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis ist angemessen. Ist ein Besuch wert!

Totalement surfait, une cuisine bas de gamme a des prix élevés.Un service extrêmement lent, au bout d' une heure,notre plat n est toujours pas servis, nous demandons à la serveuse qui avoue nous avoir oublié. Bonne musique d ambiance avec un pianiste.tarif 70€ pour 2 cocktails,2 verres de vin,une petite assiette de houmous et 2 goulasch." Vraiment pas terrible". Un vrai piège à touristes.

Excellent concert de musique Yiddish, à conseiller ; par contre le dîner en lui même est médiocre( menu imposé) et gâche un peu la soirée .

Très bon, très accueillant et service réactif. Dommage, on voulait voir le superbe pianiste mais il jouait que dimanche soir. Attention quantité hyper généreuse, c'est beaucoup trop. Un de nos coup de coeur à Budapest

I've been to beautiful restaurants all over Europe, had amazing street food in Asia but easily this was my favourite meal ever. Simple unpretentious and authentic interior, elderly man on piano and quite simply the nicest goulash I have ever tasted. If I ever go back to Budapest this is my first stop. Thankyou

Cannot say if they are traditional or authentic or not since I don't know better but the food is definitely very good... the platter was awesome... the goose leg was delicious and goulash was nice too... paired with Hungarian wine, simply perfect... service was homely...

I was recommended this place for authentic Hungarian Experience by my hotel. I have their meat dish which I could not name it since there was no English menu. But the waiter recommended this dish so I went with it.
Meat was cooked to medium, I could taste the paprika and local spices. I have to say I liked it, I also saw the table next to me ordered an Apple strudel dessert, I asked her if it’s good, she smiled big me gave me a thumbs up. So I went for it, I thanked her. It was warm toasty, perfect amount of cinnamon and sugar.
All together the over all experience was great. I enjoy the classic and family style vibe here.

Dans le coeur du quartier juif en Dób Utca, un local trés agréable pour manger des plats de la tradition juive et hongroise bien prepares ou aussi pour prendre un thé ou café. Le soir il y de la musique au piano et le vendredi des concerts klezmer.

Restaurant avec piano et diner aux bougies ! une cuisine typique hongroise. Un service attentionné et des plats copieux et délicieux ! Nous avons passé un agréable moment ! Nous le recommandons.
