Great place to see the rainforest, however the rooms are very basic for a four star resort. As there's no glass in the windows they're noisy too

Visited here for a couple of nights as part of our travel around Costa Rica. The canal trip pickup by the lodge is about 1.5 hours and is where the adventure begins - the guide and driver were great spotters and we'd seen crocodile, monkeys and loads of birds before even arriving at the lodge!
On arrival we were welcomed with a refreshing drink, which is what is needed with the 32C plus temperatures and high humidity!
The rooms are individual lodges, which don't have glass in the windows, just insect netting - obviously no air conditioning so they're the same temperature as the jungle surrounding. But it does mean you get to hear the jungle sounds all night which can be quite relaxing, although the howler monkeys start making noise around 5am! The monkeys actually spent some time right above our lodge on a couple of occasions, very close and great to watch. Three main lodge has WiFi and most of the lodges can also still access that from in them.
The food is all buffet, but surprisingly pretty good and a good choice that differs each time, and drinks are reasonably priced too considering the location.
The pool is in the shape of a turtle, and has a small jacuzzi area as well as a good sized swimming area, and there's a bar that does very good cocktails with fresh local fruit too.
The lodge staff were very friendly, and the organised excursions were very good - canal trip early in the morning to spot animals, and a walk in the afternoon too, saw loads including sloth, toucan, Caymen and crocodile.
Overall this was a real sense of living in the jungle and as close to wild Costa Rica as you can get, definitely recommend it - just make sure you prepare for the intense heat and humidity, as there's no escaping it anywhere the whole time you stay!

Un viaje maravilloso! Personal muy atento y siempre dispuesto a ayudarte. Un parque nacional fascinante. El viaje y el alojamiento se adapta al entorno para conservarlo. No es necesario ir en época de desove para poder disfrutarlo

Die Unterkunft ist nur vom Waser aus erreichbar. Direkt an der Lodge angrenzend verläuft ein Rundwanderweg im Dschungel wo wir viele Vögel aber auch Reptilien beobachten konnten. Es war ein tolles Feeling mitten im Dschungel zu schlafen- nur getrennt durch ein Fliegennetz. An die Geräusche muss man sich gewöhnen

Idyllischer Ort mitten im Nationalpark. Das Resort ist nur mit dem Boot erreichbar. Es gibt hier keine Autos und auch keine Strassen. Die Ausflüge müssen gebucht und mit einem Guide durchgeführt werden. Wir haben viele Vögel und Affen gesehen. Die Wanderwege sind gepflaster, da der Untergrund matschig und wohl auch schwierig begehbar sind.

Maravillosa experiencia. Cabañas con mosquiteras donde poder escuchar todos los sonidos de la naturaleza. Personal muy amable. Totalmente recomendable.

Amazing lodge literally in the jungle. Good tours included with the booked package. The food was pretty decent and the service really friendly. The howler monkeys above were something else! Lots of animals around.

Quieres vivir la experiencia en medio de la naturaleza, pasear por los canales y observar infinidad de especies en su hábitat, totalmente recomendado, renovar energía.

Schöne Lodge im Jungel. Auch hier kann man bereits einige Tiere entdecken. Die Bungalows sind geräumig und verfügen über sehr schöne und moderne Badezimmer. Es gibt ein schönes Restaurant, einen großen Pool, eine Bar und ein Spa. Der Services war sehr zuvorkommend. Auch das Essen war immer lecker. Wir haben die Zeit hier genossen.

Die Zimmer/Häuschen haben keine Glasfenster sondern nur Insektengitter. Man schläft also als wäre man direkt im Urlaub. Die einen finden es super den Regen, die Brüllaffen und die Vögel immer ungefiltert zu hören - andere ggf Nachts eben nicht. Das ist Geschmackssache und sollte man sich daher vorher überlegen.
Da es offen ist gibt es auch keine Klimaanlage. Die klimatischen Bedingungen im Zimmer entsprechen daher exakt denen des Regenwaldes außen, was zum Beispiel das Trocknen von Wäsche fast unmöglich macht.
Alles eben sehr naturnah...
Man kann in direkter Umgebung in den Bäumen Affen, Faultiere und große Leguane sehen.

Bungalows en pleine forêt dans un cadre ydillique pour des personnes qui voudraient se ressourcer et se couper du monde!
Je tiens à remercier l'équipe de l'hôtel et plus particulièrement DEIKEL qui a été aux petits soins tout au long du séjour. Je tiens à souligner son professionnalisme et sa gentillesse incroyable qui m'a permis de vivre un moment très confortable !
