I stayed at Pension Askas for three weeks in Oktober and I felt like home. Everybody of the family was very helpful and kind, organizing for me a flashlight for an early morning hike or giving me a fresh pomegranate from the garden. The room was clean and I was happy to have a fridge and a kettle so I could have small meals on my balcony surrounded by flowers and with a view over both mountains and ocean. Also I found it very convenient to have a Yogashala in the grounds where classes would take place three times a week. When I wanted to spontaniously rent a car for the day, it could be done just downstairs, as well. To top it all, Marios is quite a musician who let's guests have a taste of what a traditional bazooka sounds like. I had indeed a very pleasant stay. Thank you all!

Wonderful! The hotel is within a 10-15 minute walk to the harbor. The entrance to the hotel is quite pleasant, and the presence of books is a significant plus. From the moment we made the reservation, the staff was in constant communication with us regarding our potential needs. Dimitra welcomed us early in the morning when we arrived and handed us our room. The room was spacious, airy, and clean. Having a mosquito net on the balcony was a great advantage. We rented a car through their family business, Evdokia, and received detailed and practical information about getting to the harbor, traffic, and more. (Thanks again, Fani :) ) The restaurant below the hotel looked very inviting. Fani and Marios extended an invitation to their table, and we thoroughly enjoyed their wonderful company. I would like to express my gratitude once again. They didn't let us experience a single moment of dissatisfaction or discomfort. You can find much more luxurious hotels, but I am confident that you won't enjoy your stay as much as you would here.

We hebben hier vier nachten overnacht voor een bruiloft vlakbij. Het pension is fantastisch. De kamers zijn eenvoudig maar schoon. Het kan iets gehorig zijn, maar hier hebben wij verder geen last van gehad.
Naast het pension zit een camping en een taverne waar je de gehele dag door kunt eten. Zowel het ontbijt als de lunch is erg lekker, er is onwijs veel keus.
Het personeel is super vriendelijk, niks is teveel gevraagd en ze helpen je graag met tips voor activiteiten op het eiland.
Zo'n honderd meter van het pension is er een veld dat de privéparkeerplaats is van het pension en de camping.
Het strand kun je zien vanaf de kamers aan de voorzijde van het pension en ligt op vijf minuten lopen (je moet er iets omheen, maar prima te lopen!)
We komen hier zeker terug als we weer naar Amorgos gaan.

Very nice and clean plase. Air conditioning, TV. there's restourant near by. Run by local family. Kind stuff. Recomended !!

I stayed at Askas pension for 6 nights in July while island hopping around the small cyclades. I travelled as a solo female traveller at 18.
The taverna here is really lovely and does great food that is affordable. The rooms have balconies which are nice to read on and throughout my stay there was daily cleaning so the room was always fresh. The main beach is about a 3 minute walk and Levrossos beach is about 15 minutes away (absolutely worth the walk and has an amazing taverna right above). The staff were friendly and happy to give advice on places to go etc. I highly recommend staying here.

Séjour de 3 jours dans cette pension bien placée.ambiance familiale et jeune.marios est gentil et prévenant.taverne dynamique avec soirées musicales très agréables.. une adresse à conseiller sans carrière pensée aux voyageurs qui veulent aller à amorgos....

Légèrement excentré ce qui peut être un + en pleine période estivale. J'avais une quadruple pour moi toute seule, simple, mais très bien équipée (frigo, sèche cheveu, bouilloire, clim...) avec balcon donnant sur le jardin et les montagnes.???? Très reposant. Service aux petits soins. On se sent comme chez l'habitant et à la maison. Toute la famille est là toute la journée. Superbe patio couvert qui fait restaurant. Moussaka excellente ! Petit déjeuner copieux et bon marché. Un rooftop à tomber qui manque un peu d'aménagement mais peut être était ce dû à la période (début juin). Quelques transat et quelques fauteuils voire hamac et ce serait le paradis. La vue mer est top. Bref, une très bonne adresse quand on aime la simplicité.

Είχα να έρθω Αμοργό 20 χρόνια, εμένα δίπλα στο κάμπινγκ, τώρα επέλεξα δωμάτιο, κλασικό κυκλαδίτικο δωμάτιο με κλιματισμό, ψυγείο. Παρόλαυτα πιστεύω ότι το μεγαλύτερο ατού του ξενοδοχείου είναι το προσωπικό του, από την καθαρίστρια, μέχρι και τα κορίτσια που μας σερβίρουν κάθε μέρα πρωινό. Πάρα πολύ φιλόξενοι, ευγενικοί, πρόθυμοι να εξυπηρετήσουν με κάθε ευκαιρία, νομίζω πραγματικά εκφράζουν την ελληνική φιλοξενία. Επίσης, μην χάσετε την ευκαιρία να ζητήσετε από την ταβέρνα γάλα κατσίκας και τυρί, που ο ίδιος ο ιδιοκτήτης παράγει καθημερινά. Ξεχωριστή γεύση, από ορεινές κατσίκες ελεύθερας βοσκής.

This was an amazing place. Mario and his family were so kind and welcoming and the rooms confortable with wonderful views. Wonderful facilities for yoga and mario even shared his love of traditional greek music. The food was outstanding as well with delicious local fare. A wonderful place to have as a launching pad for getting to know the magical island of amorgos.

Le famille Askas est vraiment chaleureuse ,accueillante et aux petits soins avec ses pensionnaires.
De la grand mère aux petites filles et fils tout le monde s accorde afin de faire passer un séjour doux et serein...je recommande (2019/ 2023)l expérience est toujours aussi geniale

Καθαρά δωμάτια, ευγενικό προσωπικό και φοβερή θέα από το μπαλκόνι. Το φαγητό στην ταβέρνα είναι πεντανόστιμο και χορταστικό . Σας συνιστώ να πάτε να μείνετε σε αυτό το ξενοδοχείο και να φάτε στο εστιατόριο τους !!

Ευρύχωρα και καθαρά δωμάτια, ωστόσο το δικό μας δωμάτιο ήταν ακριβώς δίπλα στο κάμπινγκ με αποτέλεσμα να υπάρχει αρκετή φασαρία και παράλληλα έπρεπε να κλείνουμε συνεχώς τα παραθυρόφυλλα. Το προσωπικό ευγενικό και φιλόξενο και φυσικά το φαγητό στην ταβέρνα εξαιρετικό!

We were staying here early September 2022, a bit off the high season. The rooms are clean and simple, excellent showers!
The hosts were friendly and accommodating, even offered us a free laundry. Location is convenient as well, close to the beach.

Perfect retreat for a visit to the northern port of the island of Amorgos. The owners have created a lovely hotel with nice rooms with en suite bathrooms and all with balconies. The restaurant belonging to the hotel is an spacious nearly open air location offering everything from breakfast to dinner. And you can just hang around if you don’t feel like going to the beach. The guest from the campground come here, too. Mostly young Greek people. But you will never hear any noise.

Απλοί, ζεστοί, φιλόξενοι άνθρωποι! Δωμάτια καθαρά, δίπλα στην αγαπημένη παραλία της Αιγιάλης. Καλομαγειρεμένο, φανταστικό φαγητό στην ταβέρνα της πανσιόν σε όμορφο και οικογενειακό περιβάλλον!

Quel plaisir de séjourner dans cet hôtel à Aegiali : l'accueil est très sympathique et de bon conseil, les chambres ont été récemment rénovées, le restaurant tenu par la mère du gérant est d'un très bon rapport qualité prix, avec un service possible de location de voitures de bonne qualité et de transfert depuis le port de Katapola.
Aegiali est également un excellent lieu de séjour, calme et tranquille, avec une plage très agréable et la proximité de très jolis villages.

Très belle pension de famille, accueil attentionné et souriant. Personnel affable. Chambre correctement équipée avec petit balcon. Calme et proche de la plage et du village plus animé. Excellent restaurant avec une cuisine familiale copieuse, saine et bon marché. Animations certains soirs, musique et danses. A recommander chaleureusement.

Το δωμάτιο ανετότατο, με ζεστό νερό παντα, και κλιματισμό.
Φιλοξενία απίστευτη, ευγενεστατοι και εξυπηρετικοτατοι όλοι, μας έκαναν και νιώσαμε λες και γνωριζομασταν χρόνια.
Ήσυχο και περιποιημένο, και φυσικά το φαγητό στην ταβέρνα τους άψογο!
