Het waait aan deze zijde van t eiland ook meer dan aan de oost of noordkant.
Wel prachtige locatie, mooi aangelegd met prima zwembad en zitjes overal, verder weinig in de buurt, dus eten in t restaurant, was ook prima te doen. Gratis gebruik van kajaks en sup, en je kan over t strand naar t dorp lopen met ebtij.
20 min lopen, handig met surfschoenen. Aardig personeel, erg behulpzaam en vrolijk.

L'aspetto della struttura è quello di un villaggio abbastanza rustico, ma nelle camere vi è tutto ciò che serve per soggiornare confortevolmente.
Mancano gli armadi, sostituiti da scaffali, ma questo è l'uso tanzaniano, a quanto ho potuto capire soggiornando in sistemazioni non alberghiere nei venti giorni precedenti la mia permanenza al Promise Land.
Si vive praticamente su una grande spiaggia con numerosi lettini, amache e dondoli.
Vi è anche una piccola piscina. Il ristorante, che fornisce abbondanti prime colazioni, salate o dolci, precedute da abbondante frutta esotica assortita, offre un buon numero di piatti della cucina locale, saporita e speziata, ma non piccante, come nelle abitudini del posto.
Il personale è cortesissimo, molto collaborativo e sempre sorridente.
È possibile accedere, a pagamento, a molte attrazioni, escursioni ed attività nell'isola.
Il costo non è esorbitante.
Dovessi tornare a Zanzibar sceglierei ancora il Promise Land Lodge.
Nous avons été surpris par le fonctionnement du restaurant, qui ne servait à manger qu'à partir de 19h/19h30. Lorsque nous avons demandé à manger plus tôt, nous avons été accueillis de manière condescendante, ce qui nous a déçu.
En raison de ces problèmes, nous avons préféré manger tous les jours au village, bien que cela impliquait un éloignement supplémentaire de l'hôtel.
Un autre sujet d'inquiétude était la sécurité de vos biens. Malheureusement, nous avons eu une mauvaise expérience avec le personnel de ménage (celui-ci ayant accès à vos clés durant le nettoyage). Cela nous a pris de court, et je recommanderais d'être vigilant concernant la sécurité de vos biens…
Dans l'ensemble, nous ne pouvons pas vous recommander cet hôtel et pensons que d'autres options seraient plus appropriées pour un séjour agréable à Zanzibar.
The instant we walked in, we weren’t offered any service nor menus. While our neighbours get greeted and asked if they’re enjoying their experience.
Now onto food, which was probably why you’d want to come here in the first place. Sadly enough, It’s nothing to write home about. With the price you’ll pay, you’d expect not to wrap your own food in tinfoil just to get it to go. We ordered pasta, which was stale and bland. I’d hate to be a negative Nancy and that’s why I’ll acknowledge that they had good calamari. The only thing I enjoyed besides the cats and dogs.
Yeah, forgot to mention how I was the only one told to go pay at the bar, while the rest had this amazing opportunity to have their bill brought to their tables. Had to correct them on the amount as well. I wish I was making this up and hope it’s a one off occurrence, just take this review into consideration when planing on eating here. You wouldn’t want your wonderful day to be soiled by the service here.

Many relaxing area’s; big garden; food was very good - it takes some time, but it was very good; staff very friendly; very fine pool.
We missed atmosphere at the bar. No real music; quite some drinks were not available and on moments nobody was present to serve. We would have spend more time/money there if the bar was more lively.
Reception is at the bar. On arrival we didn't feel a warm welcome.
Overall its a ‘must go’ place.
Staff members like Alex and the cleaning ladies deserve compliments.
Room is very simple
But the environment is very good, but very far from other Hotel or restaurant or shops, the road to the place is also quite bad

Хотелось бы чуть улучшить организацию подачи еды. Специально заранее заказывали ужин, но иногда приходилось ждать.
Несмотря ни на что, хотелось бы сюда вернуться
