We enjoyed our stay at Kijani Beach Villas. The place is very child-friendly with a great pool for kids. Alya and all the staff were very friendly and did their best to make our stay comfortable. I would definitely recommend the place for families visiting Zanzibar

We spent 4 days at Kijani Beach Villas in February with my family (spouse and 2 kids) and we had such a wonderful time. We booked at the last minute (less than 24h in advance) and Aliya and Chris were very responsive and efficient.
As soon as we arrived, Aliya and her team made us feel very comfortable, and this during the whole stay there. She has organized all our daily excursions and airport transfers with excellent partners on the island.
The place has only 4 family villas, therefore you are in a very quite and peaceful place, with direct view and access to a beautiful white sandy beach. The swimming pool is of good size, the kids enjoyed it very much.
The personnel at the restaurant is amazing, accommodating any of your requests to their best level. The restaurant menu is pleasant and healthy, made of a fusion of local and western style food.
The hotel is located in a prime location on the island, you get access to many places within 30 min drive. If ever you want to discover Zanzibar with your family, I'd strongly recommend Kijani Beach villas, you won't regret it.

If you are looking for somewhere quiet and private this is the place, we stayed 10 days and didn't want to leave. The villas are fantasic with everything you could want. The resturant + bar are great (open daily 7am to 10pm) with menu specials that change every 4-5 days. Breakfast and food is top notch and there are a few other places to eat and drink a few minutes walk up and down the beach from Kijani.

I don't think we've experianced such a great team of staff before at any hotel/ resort. EVERY staff member was so friendly and would go out of there way to help. They really made our stay with them so special.

Beautiful new villas but for the two nights that we stayed, there was a power cut that caused water cut as well, we reported to the management but felt like they didn't take our concern seriously???? they took time to solve the problem and it re-occured????

Other than that, the food was great????

Nous avons passé 10jours magnifiques au Kidjani !
Un lieu unique.. paradisiaque. Villa moderne, magnifiquement bien entretenue.
Repas de qualité avec beaucoup de choix.

Le coup de cœur : l’ensemble du personnels. Un accueil chaleureux du début jusqu’à la fin, présent pour nous.

Dit is echt een geweldig resort.
Het personeel is enorm servicegericht, de keuken is fantastisch en de locatie is super. Wij zaten zelf in een ander hotel en kwamen per toeval hier terecht. We zijn gelijk meerdere dagen gegaan aangezien wij niets beters hebben kunnen vinden op Zanzibar.
Ik zou het iedereen aanraden het zelf te ervaren.

I visited the coffee shop, it has a very nice seatings in front of the beach.
I tried ginger lemonade it was 8/10
And zanzibar spice ice cream 9/10
Very nice place to visit if you are in bwejuu

Kijani is een waar paradijs! Een supermooie kleinschalige locatie, heerlijke huisjes en geweldig gastvrij personeel. De eigenaren zijn bijzonder hulpvaardig om je ook buiten Kijani de hoogtepunten van Zanzibar te laten ervaren (zoals tips voor restaurants of tourtjes en taxi’s).

Een prachtig ruim opgezet resort met luxe villa’s. Met uitzicht op de mooie blauwe zee. Een zwembad voor een verfrissende duik en super vriendelijk personeel. Heerlijk eten. Wij hebben een week genoten met vrienden van ons verblijf. Kortom heerlijk tot rust gekomen!
