We had the best experience at Sarafiland Cottages. The rooms were clean, with mosquito nets and hot water for showers. There is a kitchen available to cook your own meals and is fully stocked with the dishes/utensils you need. There is a nice courtyard with chairs, tables and a swing to relax in. The whole place is gated, so it feels very safe.
Rehema, our host, was more than accommodating. We needed to add on another night at short notice and she was able to do that, no problem. She was very helpful in setting up a safari for us. She even helped us with ordering food to be delivered and exchanged our money into shillings. She was always available and willing to assist us with anything we needed. This is the only place I have ever stayed where the owner went above and beyond to make our stay pleasant. I would definitely recommend Safariland Cottages to anyone without any hesitation. I would recommend this place if you ever find yourself in Arusha. Our host Rehema went above and beyond to help us coordinate our stay, food and adventures while there. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The property was well maintained and safe. The road getting there is rough but that is NOT their fault. If I ever get the chance to return to Arusha I will Definitely stay there again.

The rooms were clean and very comfortable, and the staff was amazing. They went over and beyond to help make my stay enjoyable. They were extremely accommodating. They even allowed me to check in early. So this was a big plus. The service was exceptional as well. I would definitely recommend to a friend

Not enough Sun, too dark, land too wet makes paradise for Bugs & flies in rooms! Very horrible customer care! We found gush of black bugs all over the room in the middle of the night! We couldin't find the host to respond to our calls or text msg! Too bad on our side because they demanded us to pay upfont with cash money!! Its kinda like they knew that they have issues perhaps we might not pay them if we come across those bugs ! Customer service is horrible !

Safariland cottages has an amazing atmosphere. The host, Rehema is very knowledgeable about local restaurants and excursions. Breakfast is hand made for guests in the morning with fresh juice and coffee. There is a communal area with wifi, a television and an assortment of board games. The rooms were very spacious, cleaned daily and there’s hot water in the shower. I would stay here again.

A great family run getaway in Arusha, lush and very friendly. Good service and Rehema is a wonderful hostess. Enjoyed the breakfast and the family-like ambiance.

I've now stayed at Safariland for several nights on two occasions-- once in 2019 and recently in June, 2022. It is the perfect place to rest/relax/reenergize whether one has business in Arusha or is carrying on to Ngorongoro and the Serengeti. The rooms are spacious with comfortable beds, hot water, and mosquito nets. There is a shared, central building where breakfast is served (including fantastic coffee and fresh fruit!) which also is the hotspot for Wi-Fi. Located on Old Radio Road, Safariland is within walking distance (~1.5 miles) to a Cinema complex where there are an assortment of restaurants. Rohima is the perfect host and I look forward to my next trip there!
