Ce couvent est un lieu d'un autre temps. Entièrement rénové, il offre de jolies vues sur le jardin et l'océan. Si la cour est majestueuse, le couvent en lui-même est empreint d'une atmosphère paisible et sereine. Les grands couloirs résonnent encore des interminables prières tandis que les douze chambres ont tout le confort et une cheminée. Les espaces sont immenses et les hébergements très spacieux. À disposition des hôtes : une grande piscine et un squash.

My husband and I got married here in 2013. It was a perfect spot for our intimate wedding. We then returned for our 10-year anniversary in 2023 and were pleased to see how lovingly cared for the place has been. We love the sacred geometry and can feel the echoes of a reverence, peace and "high vibrations". Not to mention an excellent location for exploring the town of Vila Franca. The breakfasts are delicious featuring local cheeses, breads, fresh squeezed orange juice and local pineapple and other fruit. It's a beautiful place to wander the grounds with plenty of nooks and crannies to explore, as well as a great base to explore the island. Thank you and we'll be back!

This was our favorite stay (out of 4!) On the Azores!! What a magnificent space. You can feel the very special, sacred energy is still there. In a very positive way. The former abbey is enormous compared to the amount of guests and rooms. The pictures hardly do justice to how magnificent this place is. There are very spacious hallways and large rooms. It's really authentic, yet modern enough. We also loved the light and inviting living rooms that are situated all around. Breakfast is perfect and the hosts and people working here are really friendly. Thank you so much for everything!

All the rooms are very beautiful decoratesd and the best beds you will ever sleep in. Also when you wake up in the morning you feel so rested and rejuvenated. The breakfast is just so jummy with all the local products. Sometimes you just forget that this island also excist because hard to leave the comvento. The view from the balcony, room and roofttop are also amazing.
