Very clean, staff was friendly and welcoming, and it was the best free hotel breakfast I've ever had. Just note that it's an old building without an elevator, so you must be able to walk up and down stairs. It's also a bit creaky due to age, but I just used a white nose app on my phone in my room.

Das Hotel ist wahrscheinlich mal die Villa von einem Plantagenbesitzer o.ä. gewesen. Es gibt etliche große Zimmer, aber davon nicht zu viele (ca.10).
Ausstattung ist modern und komfortabel. Frühstück ist sehr gut.
Im Ort kann man sich sehr gut zu Fuß bewegen. Für die Erkundung der Insel ist aber ein Auto sehr zu empfehlen.

Rooms and location were great but staff made no effort to help with any questions we had, this resulted in us missing loads of things in Soa Miguel and ponta delgada which we only found out through out hosts in volcano charming house and case da graca (a great alternative to here for ponta delgada)

Een erg mooi hotel. Het is van origine een historisch pand dat omgebouwd is naar een hotel. Als je binnen bent en alles bekijkt, bijzonder mooi
De kamers zijn aan de kleine kant, evenals de badkamer, maar het maar om te slapen en te douchen/wasse, etc. Hoe groot moet het zijn?
Het is te merken dat het een oud pand is met houten vloeren. Je hoort mensen duidelijk over de gang lopen. En de buren zijn ook hoorbaar.
Maar het is allemaal erg mooi en netjes. Bij de ingang staat een mogelijkheid om 24 uur per dag koffie/thee te maken, dus niet op de kamer.
Het ontbijt geeft een keur aan eten en drinken. Als je binnenkomt staat er niet zoveel van alles maar het wordt steeds weer aangevuld. Je hoeft echt niet met een lege maag weg.
Parkeren is een puntje, je kan geen parkeerplaats reserveren, ze delen het parkeerterrein met de buren en ze hebben maar 5 plaatsen. Wie het eerst incheckt, kan een plaats krijgen, op=op.

Estuvimos 3 noches y la verdad que muy bien, el desayuno es correcto porque puedes escoger salado, dulce o fruta. La ubicación es perfecta porque estás en medio de la isla, también tienes alrededor bastantes restaurantes donde ir. La única pega que le pondría es que las habitaciones son pequeñas y el WC también, también comentar que el colchón cuando te movías sonaba bastante. Estaba todo muy limpio y bien decorado.

In one word - GREAT! Not big hotel in the center of Ponta Delgada. Really close to it, you can find a couple of nice restaurants (personally I recommend "O PataNisca"). There is a parking spot but you need to inform hotel before (additional 5E per day). People who are working in the hotel are EXTREMALLY helpful and kind. Breakfest - always fresh and good.

There is Azores hospitality and then there is Casa Das Palmeiras in top of that. Yes a lot of Inns, motels and hotels have good facilities but it is the people who run the place and who work there that make it a home away from home. I stayed for 2 beautiful nights.
