La chambre ne ressemble en rien au photo, la piscine n'est pas dans l'hôtel mais bien à 5 min à pied.

Très bien situé c’est le seul point positif avec le petit déjeuner!
Le personnel n’est pas agréable.
Tout est trompeur, la piscine se trouve en réalité à 500 mètres de l’hôtel. L’ascenseur est bizarre, mauvaise insonorisation, on entend tout.
Chambre sales, moquette pleine de poussière, salle de bain pas propre, accompagné d’odeurs répugnantes de canalisation.

Bed bugs all over the place… avoid this hotel if possible.

A reggeli megfelelo, a sult bacon finom. A buszmegallo 100 meterre a hajo 10 meterre illetve 100 meterre is. Örök elmeny ha a nem torodsz a kisebb hibakkal. Igazi fiataloknak valo hely illetve nagyothallo boomereknek :)

Τα δωμάτια έχουν μία παλιά μοκέτα βρώμικη δεν σου βγάζει την αίσθηση καθαριότητας. Το μπάνιο με σκουριές, τρύπιο τηλέφωνο στο ντουζ, σάπια οροφή. Και το πιο σημαντικό πέντε μέρες δεν υπήρχε ζεστό νερό! Το air condition δεν λειτουργούσε έβγαζε απλά αέρα. Το ψυγείο στο μίνι μπαρ έκανε πολύ θόρυβο, δεν υπήρχε ηχομόνωση, φασαρία από τα άλλα δωμάτια, οι πόρτες για να κλείσουν έπρεπε να κοπανήσουν. Η πισίνα που λέει δεν ήταν καν στο χώρο του ξενοδοχείου μου φάνηκε Απαράδεκτο. Το πρωινό ήταν αξιοπρεπέστατο και το προσωπικό πολύ φιλικό.

Hotel in una posizione favolosa, vicinissima ai mezzi ed alle imbarcazioni per escursioni e per il trasporto a La Valletta. Colazione eccezionale, camera spaziosa e confortevole ed è compreso nel costo di prenotazione l' acesso ad una piscina stupenda. Super consigliato ????????

El servicio al cliente estupendo ,con recepción 24 h, y sobretodo destacar un camarero que atiende en desayunos (Sebastián), que nos ayudó en todo momento a orientarnos y aconsejarnos sobre dónde ir en nuestra estancia en Malta

Pour l’emplacement de l’hôtel il est très bien situé, facile d’accès depuis l’aéroport en bus, bus à proximité ainsi que les ferrys, restaurants sympas et magasins. Par contre la piscine se trouve à environ 100 mètres de l’hôtel.
Le petit déjeuner est très simple .
La chambre est un peu vieillotte mais comme nous y restons que pour dormir cela suffit. Concernant plusieurs avis sur les punaises de lit, nous avons pu voir la chambre avant d’y accéder et avons parlé avec la responsable du ménage, elle à été honnête en nous expliquant qu’en effet une partie d’un étage avait été infecté mais que le problème était réglé. Pour notre part nous n’avons eu aucun problème de punaises de lit et le ménage a été très bien fait pendant notre séjour qui s’est déroulé du 16 au 20 Octobre.
Si vous ne passez pas votre journée dans l’hôtel celui-ci suffit amplement.
Le personnel, réception, petit-déjeuner et ménage sont gentils et souriants .

Great location!..Within walking distance to bus stop for everywhere in the island and the Ferry Service to Valletta!..The sea-view room is spacious, clean and with a breath-talking view of Valletta!! But because is The Strand expect to be also rather noisy, depending the floor.

Le uniche cose positive sono la posizione e la colazione. Camera sporchissima, nonostante abbiamo fatto presente il problema ci è stato detto che non c'erano altre camere disponibili, servizi elencati su booking presenti a metà. Sconsiglio vivamente di soggiornare qui... Pessima esperienza

I am coeliac and although they did not seem to be ready for my arrival, the staff were quick to put things in place. I could not fault the level of customer service.

Lo que más quiero destacar ha sido la atención de primero la recepción por parte de Ajay que hacía todo lo posible por entendernos sin hablar español. Lo segundo Sebastián que estaba supervisando el desayuno, increíble persona, educado, muy simpático y super atento en todo momento de todos los huéspedes que desayunaban. Jorge otro chico que también estuvo en el desayuno super amable también. Así da gusto la verdad.
Estuvimos en una de las habitaciones superiores y merece mucho la pena por la super terraza y las vistas que son espectaculares a cualquier hora del día.
Hemos estado 6 días y todos nos han arreglado la habitación, limpiado el baño y cambiado las sábanas.
Lo único que no me ha gustado es que la ducha no tenía casi presión (no sé si era por estar en el octavo piso) y eso ha hecho que mi madre y yo tengamos un poco de dificultad al lavarnos el pelo por la cantidad que tenemos. Si que reconozco que los baños están un poquito viejos pero casi no hemos estado en el hotel.
Pero por lo demás la verdad no entiendo la puntuación bajita del hotel si está genial. Camas y almohadas cómodas. Había un calentador de agua pequeño en la habitación con sobres de café, te y aromáticas que mi madre ha disfrutado viendo el amanecer en la terraza todos los días.
Entrada gratis al aqualuna que es una piscina espectacular donde se come super bien ( comida y bebida no incluida) y se relaja uno.
Desayuno tipo buffet con huevos, queso, jamón, 4 tipos de zumo, varias máquinas con diferentes cafés, pan para tostar. Muy rico todo.
Y encima por lo que hemos podido ver Sliema es la mejor ubicación para alojarte ya que es tranquila pero también hay bares, supermercados y barcos que te que llevan a la Valleta (ferry), Gozo, Comino y la Laguna Azul.

Hemos tenido una especial atención en nuestro idioma por parte de Sebastián y su compañera en los desayunos y en otros servicios.

El hotel tiene una buena ubicación, todo muy cerca con lindas vistas , el personal muy amable en especial Sebastian en el servicio del restaurante, el desayuno ha estado muy bien , puntos negativos 1 ascensor para 8 o 9 pisos , las puertas súper incómodas ; el secador al minuto de usarlo no prendía , el baño atascado .. requiere de ciertos detalles y mantenimiento.

Peccato chiamare questo posto hotel in quanto non si tratta di un hotel!! Hotel vuol dire camere pulite,con dei piccoli servizi a disposizione che qui non ci sono,tipo il frigorifero non funzionante e pieno di ruggine,letti non in ordine,balcone sporco e non idoneo al soggiorno di nessun tipo in quanto ancora con dei lavori in corso sulle pareti. Personale carino e gentile peccato che lavori in questo posto. Non lo consiglio e non metto foto perché non ne ho fatte!!

Good location for excursions and other activities. The hotel building itself could really use a cash injection. Can be noisy being right above the street and paperthing walls between rooms. Breakfast was a ok.

Services seemed to do the best they could but some requests went unanswered. I have a feeling the root of issues is that management don't want to spend money improving their service, whilst the staff on the desk get the brunt of the complaints.

The pool is a private club pool, but always very populated. The pool was my favourite part of the stay actually. It was a 5 min walk down the road. Hotel wouldn't be suitable for those with accessibility / mobility challenges. Only one lift for the whole building that had a mind of its own sometimes.

Was suitable as a very basic stay hotel.

Booked this hotel based on the location and the pictures provided. Half the pictures showed a pool and at the time of booking did not mention that the pool did not belong to the hotel. The description at the time also stated that it had a pool. The pool is part of a public lido about a 10 min walk from the hotel. This was a huge let down.

The whole hotel needs updating, as everything is about 20+ years out of date. The furniture in the room was not fit for use. One of the chairs on the balcony was completely broken -asked for a replacement, but one never came. One of the beds was wobbly due to an unsteady leg.

The lift is awful. This needs to be updated asap. If somebody presses the button for the lift before you on a different floor, you have to wait for the lift to go to them first and then down to the ground floor before you can press the button again. It serves only one floor at a time. The whole lift creaks when it moves and you find yourself getting nearly hit by the lift door every time you enter/exit due to how violently quick it is to close. Found ourselves waiting sometimes 10 mins just for the lift.

It was clear that the cleaning staff are doing the best with what they have, but there was mould growing in the room behind one of the curtains. This was due to the AC dripping and the water running along the curtain rail and then dripping down into the corner for a long period of time (the dripping of the water would sometimes keep us up at night).

The rooms need soundproofing as well. More often that not, one could hear the next door room’s occupants talking (as well as other activities) and hear every word being said, as if they were in the room with you. This meant if they were to wake up early, then they would wake you up early as well as the noise would be too much to sleep through.

I would also say that this hotel is not wheelchair access friendly. Whilst there is a lift, there are so many problems with it and if there was a fire, I’m not sure someone could be assisted down the stairs, as the stairs are very narrow. There are also narrow double doors on each floor to access the rooms, we struggled just to get through them with luggage and think it would be a very arduous task for someone to get through them in a wheelchair.

Every time we came down to reception, there was another person/couple complaining about their room. Common complaints we heard were that there were issues with the water not running in the shower or no hot water (this was over the course of a week). Every time we ran into another guest in the lift, it was clear that they were not happy with the quality of the hotel as well and felt like they had been duped also.

The only good thing going for the hotel was the location (located literally opposite all of the ferries to go on day trips or to go over to Valetta). The view from the balcony was also good, but one has to pay extra for a room with the view, it is not standard and you may be given a room that overlooks the back of the hotel and other buildings.

Hotel muy bien situado, con acceso a Aqualuna que es una zona con piscina al borde del mar magnífica. Uno de nuestros colchones mejorable.Limpieza de primera. El servicio de restaurante de primera unos camareros muy atentos así como el jefe de sala pendiente siempre de que no falte de nada. Muchas gracias. El desayuno.abundante,variado y bueno.

On va commencer par les points positifs vu qu’il y en a très peu :

-hotel bien situé, proche de tous les ferrys, avec une vue agréable sur la mer.

-personnel souriant, accueillant et à l’écoute.

Malheureusement c’est tout ce qui allait.

Très vite en arrivant dans cet hôtel j’ai demandé à mon épouse où on est tombé.

Un ascenseur glauque ne pouvant enregistrer qu’un seul étage à la fois : je m’explique si nous sommes 2 dans l’ascenseur et que la première personne appui sur le 5e étage et que l’autre devait aller au deuxième l’ascenseur ne prendra pas en compte le deuxième étage et ira directement au 5e. Autant dire que le matin pour aller au petit dej on peut attendre l’ascenseur pendant 10 min.

Des chambres à la limite du tolérable, de la poussière un peu partout, une moquette vétuste qui se décolle de partout. Des rideaux sales, des odeurs de canalisations nauséabondes dans la salle de bain, des cuvettes WC cassés, une baignoire remplie de coups et des joints avec moisissures. Mais le clou du spectacle c’est nos charmantes « PUNAISES DE LIT » qui nous ont dévorés mon épouse et moi dès la première nuit. Alors évidement nous avons demandés une nouvelle chambre, chose que le personnel a accepté mais nous en avons encore trouvé. Autant dire que l’hôtel en est infesté. Pour avoir payé environ 600€ pour quelques nuits, que ma déception fut grande.

Publicité mensongère avec des photos qui ne reflète pas la réalité. Passer votre chemin, pour ne pas perdre votre argent.

No complaints. I always pick a hotel for being close to transport.
The Sliema Ferry and bus stop is nearby.
I also stayed nearby in 2014/15, and as I'm out all day,the room is not that important. It was clean and basic. That's okay for me. Plenty of restaurants nearby too.

No variation in the breakfast menu.

Edificio antiguo, aunque limpio.
El ascensor es lento pero la espera nunca fue demasiado larga.
Los servicios muy bien, desayuno, piscina (aunque está a unos 200m del hotel).
La zona es muy buena con locales de ambiente, comercios etc.
Muy accesible tanto en transporte público como en coche. Se aparca fácil si alquilas coche, gratis.
Las vistas a Valetta desde la habitación espectaculares.

Très bien situé juste devant l'embarquement du ferry, personnel charmant, la vue de la chambre était magnifique, petit-déjeuner plutôt bien.
L'insonorisation des chambres n'est pas bonne donc dans un quartier animé et avec des clients bruyants on ne dort pas d'un sommeil profond, mais les équipements dans la chambre frigo, smart tv et clim fonctionnait parfaitement.
Je recommande largement cet hotel.

I have never been at a hotel that have had such low service minded people. I asked several times before my visit about the breakfast and never got a reply, however they were very eager to answer my questions about the extra services they sell.
The staff are very uncommited and they don't give the impression of caring about their guests at all. (Except for one guy at breakfast, didn't catch his name sadly!) The breakfast is poor and the same every day, I skipped it after 2 days because there was barely anything to eat, and the coffee was horrendous. The room itself is big, the view from the balcony was amazing, but that's the extent of positive things at this hotel. The room was dirty, there were items left from previous guests, the floor is carpet and it left dirt on your feet/socks. The bathroom has a small shower with tub, but you can't fill the tub because the warm water runs out. The height in the shower was very low, I am almost 170 and it was almost too low for me. The shower has flaking everywhere and the shower curtain is moldy(!) The towels were scratchy and not at all pleasant to use. The humidity in the bathroom was awful, you had to leave the door open when you took a shower. The beds are really poor quality, it reminds me of camping beds. The mattresses were hard in the middle but bowed out on the edges. The bedding had spots on them and the pillows were subpar. We got 2 cups that were "cleaned" every day, but it still had spots in them afterwards. The wifi was slow and unreliable. All in all, don't visit this place, I know I won't.
