The restaurant is open when others aren't (about 5:30PM was when we stopped there) and located at the top of the main walk towards the Piazza Duomo, so convenient and so far so good. Unfortunately, the food is overpriced, bland (friend's dish) or awful (mine). Worse, it's dirty - the silver ware looked smudged and the beer glass looked like it had never been washed. The restaurant business sign is in English ("grandma's recipes", "typical food & drink") - clues this might be a tourist trap - and we got snagged. Do yourself a favor and get closer to the Piazza Duomo and wait till 7PM for the good restaurants to open and stay away from this spot.

Last night we had the sheer luck of finding the best restaurant in Sicily! We stumbled upon Giuseppe and Mimma’s restaurant through a Google search, and we’re so happy we did. Not only is the food, absolutely outstanding, but the service and the beauty of the owners is something to behold! You will not be sorry. Seriously, the best dinner we’ve eaten in Italy!

Best lasagne I ever had. You can feel they have been made with love. And the owners are so nice and friendly people.
I deffinitely reccomend to stop here and try their lasagne.

Nous avons passés un super moment dans ce restaurant. Beaucoup de rire avec les gérants et une nourriture incroyablement bonne. Je recommande 100% et oui .. les lasagnes, les meilleures que nous avons mangés jusqu’ici !

Little Sicilian restaurant off a main road. Inviting owners, husband and wife. Food was delicious. We started with the Caponata, outstanding, and Hot Pecorino Cheese, equally good. For dinner we had one of each of the Cannelloni, meat and spinach with ricotta. Nice size portions and reminded me of my Nonna’s cooking. A bottle of Sicilian wine and Cassata Siciliana for dessert rounded out the evening. Owner Giuseppe sat with us and talked after the meal and shared with us a taste of some local Marsala dessert wine. A very pleasant experience.

Wir waren hier, weil wir durch die vorherigen Bewertungen auf die Lasagne aufmerksam geworden sind. Und wir wurden wirklich nicht enttäuscht. Sehr leckere Lasagne und das Beste, es gab auch eine vegetarische Variante. Die beiden Besitzer waren auch sehr nett und so hatten wir einen wirklich tollen Abend.

Cocina casera deliciosa en un ambiente tradicional. Platos regionales exquisitos con productos locales frescos, como las lasañas, que son espectaculares. Se agradece mucho que tengan opciones vegetarianas de los platos y de las especiales.

Une super adresse, authentique et sincère au cœur de Cefalù. Pour ceux qui sont à la recherche d'une cuisine sicilienne de famille, faite maison, cette adresse est pour vous ! Vous y serez incroyablement reçus en plus ! Merci pour ce bon moment, nous nous sommes régalés ????????

This little gem is a great restaurant, the owner his, wife and during the busy season thier son run it . All of the food is homemade to perfection . We had a lovely evening here in March and found the food to be excellent and the hospitality equally as good. We hope on their next visit to Ortigia they will give us a call and we can enjoy a meal together. Oh yes did I mention the lasagna is amazing!

What a wonderful experience eating here was. After Catania, Mt Etna we arrived in Cefula hungry and this hit the spot. Orange salad, cannellini and lasagna. Delightful hosts made a great evening.

By Nonna's Lasagna....both delicious! And the owners Domenica and Giuseppe 2 of the the best hosts one could ask for...in fact we not only had a great dining experience, we made 2 new friends! I highly recommend this lovely restaurant!

Un accueil comme on en trouve rarement aujourd’hui. Giuseppe et sa compagne sont adorables et nous ont accueillis à bras ouverts. Dans leur bar à vin très chaleureux, ils nous ont partagé de précieux conseils sur leur région qu’ils aiment tant. Nous y reviendront avec grand plaisir.

Sehr nette Inhaber, ein schönes Ambiente, und sehr gutes Essen. All das ist hier vorhanden. Auf Empfehlung der Inhaber aßen wir die Lasagne und die Melanzane nach Nonnas gericht, wirklich sehr lecker und weiter zu empfehlen. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Petit restaurant très agréable, car situé légèrement à l'écart des grandes rues très touristiques du centre historique de Cefalu. L'accueil chaleureux et sympathique, le menu assez varié et le service rapide ont retenu mon attention. Mon plat d'aubergine était plutôt copieux et très bon. Cependant, gros bémol sur les prix élevés, dommage.

Un petit restau très sympa pour le midi, et Céc un couple de gérants sympathiques et accueillants. Plats fait maison, vin d’amande et Tartine de pistache offertes
