Can't choose what is better, the location, the service (not meaning phone signal here!) or the people. Or maybe because of the chameleons roaming around while you are having breakfast. Highly recommended, also for arranging amazing trips to the Rwenzori. Wished we had time to stay a bit longer!

Staff were very accommodating and welcoming. Ruboni has done a great job creating a comfortable environment next to Rwenzori mountain national park.
The food was incredibly tasty and prepared on time. I would recommend this establishment to anyone visiting Nyakalangija

Its a very nice place in the middle of the forrest. You can easly drive there. Parking is available directly at the camp. They will welcome you very well. To go for hiking you can spontaniously talking to them when arriving or write them on whatsapp days before arrival. The philosphie of the camp is to provide work and earn money for the Community living in the valley.

Twijfel niet en verblijf hier! Wij hadden in feb 23 helaas maar ruimte in ons reisschema voor één nachtje, hadden gewild dat we meer tijd hadden gehad. Onze kamer had een eigen badkamer en een geweldig uitzicht op de bergen. Alles schoon. Eten ruime porties en lekker. Maar het hoogtepunt voor ons was de Forest walk met Nixon, een ongelooflijk sympathieke gids die uit de community komt en met enthousiasme vertelt over alle flora en fauna en lokale gebruiken. We hebben ook de three horned Chameleon gezien! Als we langer hadden kunnen blijven hadden we graag nog de hill walk gedaan, en ook voor een community walk lijkt ons dit ook een hele fijne plek. Heel oprecht en gemoedelijk. Alle opbrengsten van de lodge gaan naar de community. Al met al dus: boeken!

Wonderful place on the slopes of Mt Rwenzori. I enjoyed a village walk, forest walk and a hill walk. Great nature sounds from the nearby stream of water and birds

Ich werde diesen Aufenthalt im Ruboni niemals vergessen.
Ich war dort 2 Nächte mit meiner liebsten.
Der Blick auf das Rwenzori Gebirge war so großartig, ich habe jede Minute dort genossen. Wir haben auch eine Wanderung mit einem Guide zu einem nahegelegenen Berg gemacht, dieser hat uns viele Pflanzen erklärt und manches davon konnten wir auch gleich essen.
Der Ausblick von diesem Berg auf den höchsten 5000er war gigantisch.
Ich war dort 2 Nächte mit meiner liebsten.

We did a three day trekking in the rwenzori mountains, organised by the ruboni community and it was the most wonderful experience. Super well organised and very very nice people.

Ruwenzori - der näßte Berg Afrikas! Wir hatten eine Woche Sonne und phantastisch blauen Himmel ! Ausgerechnet am Gipfeltag dann Wettersturz und Sicht 1-3m! Also kein Gipfel????! Unbedingt Steigeisen für den Gipfel! Eisregen beim Abstieg und gefährliches Rutschen über die Boulder! Eine unvergessliche, fordernde aber für hardcore-Tracker und Bergsteiger eine empfehlenswerte Expedition! Jederzeit wieder! Dr. Wolfgang Pfäffl

Great accommodation with gorgeous views to the mountains. We initially wanted to camp but their camping spot is just their parking lot which was not very attractive. We therefore decided to stay in the double room which was the best decision. Food was a lot and good. Staff very friendly.
There are a lot of stairs so be aware. The camp also lies on 1.700m altitude and you can feel every stair ????.
Park gate is 15-20 mins walk or 5 mins by car. We organised an UWA ranger for a 1 day hike for 30 USD pP (most others will try to sell it for at least 100 USD).

Very cute place in the woods. Very friendly staff and clean but basic rooms. Good value for price. Nice breakfast and wonderful views.

Eine saubere und ruhige Unterkunft. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Essen war sehr lecker! Wir haben 4 Nächte im Ruboni Camp verbracht und es sehr genossen. Die geführten Touren waren gut vorbereitet und interessant.
Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Przepiękne miejsce z nieprawdopodobnie miła obsługa. Profesjonalnie przygotowane lokalne aktywności (hike, wizyta w lokalnej społeczności, spacer po lesie deszczowym). Świetne jedzenie przygotowywane punktualnie. Idealne miejsce na zbieranie sił przed i po treningu na szczyty parku Rwanzori. Miejsce oddalone o około 1,5 km od bramy parku.
