Beautiful & very peaceful place right by the lake! They had their own dock you can swim from and lush green environment ☺️????

Clean rooms with the basics. Food was tasty and simple. Great budget option in the area.

Crater bay Cottages is the best place to Stay, Dine and Explore!
Good staff, great service and clean rooms, so caring staff, if you are looking for a place for relaxing, choose Craterbay Cottages lake Bunyonyi

Pros: accessibility and access to town, great views, lake front, food is actually pretty good (but expensive), staff is very attentive
Cons: if you are not Ugandan the room rate is variable (note the price online before you visit). After being stalked by the tour guide the entirety of our stay we made the mistake of going on a boat tour with him - overpriced and not as advertised (shorter, did not visit all islands) and not very informative.

Acampem dues nits amb la nostra tenda. Experiència molt agradable. Gespa molt maca, tenda a tocar del llac, molt bones vistes.
També organitzen activitats, nosaltres vam fer una volta en canoa a bon preu.
Algunes instal•lacions com lavabos a millorar però pel preu esta bé.
En Jimmy és el propietari, un home encantador també guia turístic. El poc personal que hi treballa és suficient i molt atent.

Affordable & comfortable room. Surrounding view is nice for its lakeside location. Staffs are friendly and helpful. Lakeside deck is a bonus. Overall the place is recommended for budget lodging.

Clean and affordable rooms/tents and decent food. One of the best places to stay at around lake Bunyonyi. The sundeck on the lake itself is also a big extra! The place is situated right next to a small village.

Camere nello standard del posto il bagno non mi è piaciuto manca l'acqua calda letto non particolarmente comodo ma per una notte va più che bene. La cena è stata molto abbondante presente il wifi, situato sulla riva del lago punto di partenza per escursione alla scuola elementare, superiore, punishment island e tutte le altre 29 isolette presenti nel lago

We visited Craterbay Cottages Lake Bunyonyi. They have very delicious food , nice affordable accommodation with a nice View , good service and friendly staff. I recommend you to visit Craterbay for Sommer Vacation.

Location is excellent. Staff are so-so. There was no power except for a couple hours when they turned on the generators. My phone, camera, headphones, power bank and more couldn't charge. They say they have wifi, but it's only by reception. Misleading. With the much they make, they need it everywhere. The cell service here is very bad, and pretty much non-existent in the rooms. No hot water. Food was a bit expensive compared to other places. They operate on African time, so don't expect anything to be done on time or when they say it will be.

You can't expect people to pay full price for this kind of experience, people. Get it together. The only reason this place gets a decent review is because of the scenery.
