I was used work there as a receptionist/front desk agent back in Summer 2022 for 1 month. I was treated poorly from the management when I was the new hire. The management was very unprofessional and demanded a lot from the employees with very few resources available to work with. After hearing about this hotel’s closure, I shouldn’t be surprised at all. Good riddance.

Ran out coffee two days. One employee on desk couldn’t find any. Friendly desk clerks. One employee per shift.

Maid would never leave enough linens for two. We stayed four nights.

Website photos are very misleading. Floors in hallways are bare stained concrete. Amenities are not as described. Rooms not very clean and super small. Overpriced at the rate we paid

We loved our stay here over the past 5 days! When we stay in NY, we don’t seek out bells and whistles, as we really only plan on using the room to recharge, shower, sleep…and then repeat the next day. Redford was perfect for that. It’s only a few blocks from the F train, which quickly connects you to the rest of Manhattan and the Burroughs within a few stops. Staff was super friendly. Beds were super cozy. Rooms were clean and well maintained. We even got a cute apology note when they didn’t make our bed one day because we had left our suitcase in the middle of it. (They have a policy of not touching or moving the guests personal belongings.). The 7th floor “rooftop” space was a super relaxing way to take in the city over morning coffee, or evening coffee. ☺️. We’ll definitely use this hotel or one of their other affiliates on our next trip!

Just, really average.

Everything was falling apart in our room and nothing was properly cleaned.

Thankfully it was a short business trip, but I wouldn't stay here again.

Either the front desk worker is inexcusably incompetent, or a flat out bigot. Gave our guest hours of trouble and tribulation because they use a different first name than their license. Photo ID? Didn't matter. Guest is a public figure - didn't matter. Changed reservation on booking site after extended altercation over the phone - didn't matter. Forwarded the email confirmation of name change with booking site - didn't matter. Never in all our years of traveling has this ever happened.

What did she think was happening? Who was she protecting? As far as I can tell the only problem is a disabled person of color was trying to check in and I guess the front desk person wasn't okay with that.

The Hotel looks nothing like the pictures online. If it weren’t for the incredible staff who clearly work so hard- I would have left immediately. The owner needs to clean things up. The rooms are BEAT UP. Windows are old, busted and full of moisture & impossible to open. Broken lampshade, an outlet by the bed that didn’t work, no where to put your suitcase, something gross and sticky on the bedside table. However, the staff were amazing- they are the only reason I didn’t get out of there the second I saw my room.

My room had mold on the backboard of the bed. They tried to clean it but it’s still very noticeable. When I got back from my day, the cleaning people just covered it with pillows and it was still there. They offered no refunds and wouldn’t change our rooms. The noise pollution is insane and is loud all night. The only saving grace is geo the receptionist being nice. The pictures they posts are inaccurate. This place needs fixing and updating.

Il est inacceptable de louer une chambre pour 3 adultes avec 2 lits à peine plus grand qu’un lit simple. ( d’autant plus que le 3 eme adulte paie prix plein) Chambre , rue et chauffage très bruyant. Hôtel à rénover ( tapis du sol arraché dans les communs et vous marchez sur la chape béton .. etc) Ménage très mal effectué poussière omniprésente et fenêtre opaque par la saleté extérieure. Pas de café ( malgré que c est mentionné) car rupture de stock durant 3 jours.
