The view and food were out of this world. Everything is farm to table so make sure you ask what’s in season. We had the fresh farm eggs, WOW!

We visited their bar during the lunch time. The view from there is great, service is absolutely top one. The lobby of the hotel is very stylish with the view of Valley. If you feel stay is too expensive, please go to visit the bar, you will never be regret! The kir royale is a must ????

Dined here a few times. Beautiful property, with gorgeous views. Reception and valet were great. Overall I found Messardiere to have better service at the restaurants. Every person from the staff I encountered greeted me, which was really wonderful. Only gripe- the restaurant service was a bit slow and not as refined/professional. The Vanille et Liles staff at the clothing boutique was also not very welcoming (the other location beside the art gallery where they have multiple floors, the staff was attentive, helpful, and warm).

This is our fifth and final day at this exceptional hotel—and I truly wish we could stay longer.||From the start, communication was flawless. José provided outstanding assistance in the weeks leading up to our stay, helping to organize everything from a wine tour, to a hot air balloon ride over the lavender fields, to restaurant reservations, and much more. His responsiveness and attention to detail made planning effortless.||Upon arrival, we were not disappointed—our room exceeded expectations in every way. One of the most delightful surprises were the thoughtful nightly turndown service. Rather than the typical chocolates or cookies, we were gifted unique, memorable keepsakes that will always remind us of this special stay.||The twice-daily housekeeping service was flawless, and the entire staff—from the front desk to every team member we encountered—was consistently warm, professional, and attentive. It’s no surprise, as we had the pleasure of meeting Angela Kruez, the hotel’s director, on several occasions. Her friendly, approachable manner sets the tone for the entire team, and it’s clear her leadership is reflected throughout the property.||As far as the food, breakfast each morning was simply outstanding—both the quality of the food and the impeccable service were five-star.||We also dined at the hotel’s Italian restaurant, La Bastide de Pierres, where we enjoyed an excellent salad and pizza. Another evening, we had cocktails and sushi at Le Tigre, also located at the hotel, which did not disappoint.||If you have the chance to enjoy the pool you will probably run into Tom - one of the hardest working pool attendants I have met. Also if you have lunch by the pool, don’t pass up the Club Sandwich—it’s easily one of the best I’ve ever had. ||Today, we also had the opportunity to experience the hotel’s outstanding spa. From the moment we arrived, Annabel at the reception desk greeted us with warmth and professionalism, setting the perfect tone. The treatments themselves were exceptional—Valentine delivered one of the best deep tissue massages I’ve ever had, and my wife thoroughly enjoyed both her relaxing massage and rejuvenating facial with Melissa. Each therapist was not only highly skilled but also made the entire experience feel personalized and luxurious.||La Bastide de Gordes is truly something special, and we are already looking forward to returning on our next trip to Provence!

Though the virtue of a hotel and its stars lie in its grander, location, ambience , Resturant’s , pools , the spa and La Bastide de Gordes Arielle's hotels aces in all these accolade.

However at La Bastide de Gordes
Airelles hotels All other accolades are pale in comparison to the pleasant smiling faced stars , in the doorways , the hallways , behind the concierge desk reception desk, the restaurants , who are willing to pander to your every small whim , every desire and every need of their guests.
Although more often than not the guests entering the revolving doors of this La Bastide de Gordes Arielle's hotels are nobilities and celebrities who are familiar with feeling special but the personal At the abode on the hills of Gordes make even a common man like myself feel very special till they see their rooms.

It would be unfair not to mention a few exceptional individuals I met at the La Bastide de Gordes Airelles hotels .
The slim ,slender and sweet Genral manager Angela Kreuz was omnipresent and very omniscient. Elio Parente a Napoletano with perennial smile was very sincere in service and helpful in every possible way. He very willingly bend over his back to make sure there is not a furrow in your brow.
The dinning room management staff had excellence seethed in their manners and actions. The servers who is light on their feet and generous with smiles were quick in their service.

Having said all that praise of people I would still never ever come back to this hotel nor would I recommend it to any body at my Finacial and social station.
I can irrevocably state that my recommendation is that any one whose budget for a room is less than $5000 per night should never book in this hotel. If you desire to stay there despite reading my review you will find your stay at La Bastide de Gordes Airelles hotel an extremely humbling experience. You will feel like a serf to a serf in your room at the palace.

I was devastatingly disappointed at the rooms. I had booked two rooms at around 3000 euro’s per night per room . It would not at all be an exaggeration to state that the rooms were so small that one could not even turn around without hitting the walls. One had a toilet where even a very petite girl could hardly fit in the shower the other toilet had no toilet, I had to call reception who came and showed me the toilet is in the closet. The toilet had no sink so you have to open the closet and then go to the washroom to wash hands.
I doubt if any body other than the Madagascar and Malaysian maids, ever stayed in these rooms and those innocent souls have in their lexicon no words of complaints and thus no complaints.
This is not a palace for a working king but a Joséphe Jeanne Marie Antoinette whose dictionary lacks the word “budget”.

As far as the food, breakfast each morning was simply outstanding—both the quality of the food and the impeccable service were five-star.

For our final dinner tonight, we decided to try the new restaurant, Beefbar—and it did not disappoint! We started with the Smashed Burgers, which were outstanding, followed by perfectly cooked Beef Tenderloin served with their signature sauce and fries—absolutely delicious. To finish, we shared a unique ice cream sundae with an impressive selection of toppings that made for a fun and memorable dessert. If you’re staying at the hotel or in the area, Beefbar is a must-visit!

Unbelievable hotel. We needed a first stop for our trip before heading to St Tropez and finishing in Paris. I wanted to stop in a part of wine country, so i was thinking Loire Valley, but our travel agent t said it wouldn’t make sense travel wise. She suggested Gordes and sent a few hotel recommendations. This hotel stood out by its Mountain View’s and gorgeous pool. So we went along with it and I couldn’t have been happier.

The hotel itself is right in the town of Gordes and has unbelievable views. It is gorgeous from top to bottom. The minute you step foot out of the van you get greeted and taken care of like you are royalty. Once you are checked in, the receptionist will show you around the hotel so you wont just be wondering where everything is like a clueless puppy.

The outdoor adult pool is next to none. The pictures don’t do it justice. It is perfect in every way. They have 3 pools on the property. An adult pool, children’s pool, and an indoor pool.

The spa was also amazing. We had a credit from our travel agency so we took full use of it.

The rooms are well appointed although a little small (expected in Europe boutique hotels). The food when phenomenal and again the views. From breakfast, lunch and dinner we didn’t have one bad meal. Sitting outside for a quick drink before dinner or just because you will be stunned with just how peaceful it is.

We took a half day wine/vineyard tour in an old buggy. The tour guide was so nice and knowledgeable in every way. He took us to 3 different vineyards that were completely different. One of the vineyards was owned by Ridley Scott (Director of multiple famous movies. Black hawk down, the Martian, Gladiator, Alien). Scott also had all the suits they used in the movies. Our tour guide took us to the Lavender fields (A must stop). If you are looking for something fun to do you need to ask for our tour guide.

On our last day they basically shut the square down for a market. They had everything from cheese, meat, clothing, artwork and more. It was extremely nice.

Again, Gordes wasn’t my original plan for a stop, but i am so glad we did. I would come back just for the hotel.

Fantastic hotel. It's very kitschy looking but smartly designed. The property itself is stunning with amazing pools and great views. Breakfast was really fantastic and had countless options. Dinners were decent. The only negative is the town of Gordes itself, which is overwhelmed with tourists and much less scenic than the towns to its east.

Wow. What can I say? I am extremely lucky to stay in boutique 5* hotels all over the world & as a result, nowadays I am rarely surprised. But this hotel is something else. The quality of products in your room is next level. Hello complimentary PJs and beach bags (to keep). Everything in the minibar is included and it’s JAM PACKED with luxurious goodies. Our Porsche even got a free car wash. Yep. I think this hotel just raised the bar. Merci!

My wife an I spent 3 nights here last week and we can honestly say it's one of the best hotel experiences we've had anywhere. ||The room was very nice and well appointed especially for such a historic building. Each day, room service would leave little "gifts" with the turndown service. The little included "extras' really go a long way. Love the fact that there is free laundry included every day. ||The service was spectacular. Everyone was always eager to help and with a big smile on their face. We got to know a few of the staff members and it seems like Airelles really takes care of their employees well and in return, workers keep coming back each season. You can tell people feel passionate about he place. It's not "just a job". ||The pool is beautiful, as is the town of Gordes. Be sure to go to the lookout point at the south edge of town some morning to watch the sun rise over the town and valley. ||Many fun towns to check out- we hit up Rousillon, Menerbes, LaCoste- all fun to explore. ||We will definitely try to return some day.
