WORST EXPERIENCE I HAVE EVER ENCOUNTERED
WITH HOTELS AND BOOKING PLATFORMS. WE
ARRIVED ON JULY 4-6, PAID MONEY ON THE PLACE,
WE RECEIVED A ROOM WITHOUT AIR CONDITIONING
AND CANCELED OUR STAY 5MINS AFTER CHECK-IN.
THE RECEPTIONIST CONFIRMED THAT WE COULD
CANCEL AND THE MONEY OF €320 PER NIGHT WILL BE
RETURNED WITHIN 5 DAYS. AFTER THE DEADLINE WE
DID NOT RECEIVE THE MONEY AT ALL, THE HOTEL
DOES NOT ANSWER MESSAGES, WHEN CALLING
THEM, THEY PRETEND THAT THEY DO NOT
UNDERSTAND OR KNOW ANYTHING. THE HOTEL DOES
NOT MATCH THE PHOTOS AT ALL, THE SERVICE IS
COLD AND RUDE. THE ROOMS ARE SMALL AND
SMELLY, THE SURROUNDINGS ARE NOT COZY. THERE
IS NO ELEVATOR FROM THE PARKING TO THE
RECEPTION, ONLY STAIRS WHICH YOU HAVE TO DRAG
YOUR HEAVY SUITCASES UP. I DO NOT RECOMMEND
THIS HOTEL TO ANYONE AND DO NOT RUIN YOUR
HOLIDAY IN MENTON!!!!!
Gammelt og slitent hotell. Beliggenheten er god og sentral, med kort vei til jernbanestasjonen, sentrum og stranden.
Dessverre er dette hotellet virkelig nedslitt. Maling flasser av veggene, ikke kjøleskap på rommet og veldig dårlig AC på rommet gjorde temperaturen langt i overkant av det som er komfortabelt. Den ene natten var det også vedlikeholdsarbeid og hotellet var uten strøm.
Hagen er stengt for oppussing, så den kan man ikke bruke.
Frokosten er heller ikke spesielt imponerende, og serveres i et slitent lokale.

Comodo il servizio di parcheggio attaccato all'hotel. Se rimanete a Menton, potete dimenticare di usare l'auto.
Il servizio è molto cortese e molto buona la colazione continentale.
Ma chambre (une personne) est un peu petite mais elle est confortable.
We arrived with a pram and a baby, and both lifts were out of order. Instead of offering help or even a simple apology, the response was: “You can take the stairs.” No empathy or assistance.
At the restaurant, no one knew how to operate the microwave, and again, no one seemed remotely interested in helping.
The worst part was when I briefly asked to keep an eye on my son for a few seconds at the reception while I was placing some milk in the baggage row, just a few steps away. There was no customers at the time that should be looked after and several staff free. Nothing was said at the time — but later, when I referred the staff situation to the manager (the blond lady) her response was defensive, rude, and inappropriate. Rather than showing empathy or acknowledging the lack of support, she blamed me for having dared ask her staff to “help” even for a few seconds. This kind of reaction is unacceptable and shows a complete lack of basic customer care.
I left feeling extremely uncomfortable. There was zero sense of service, no kindness, and no effort to make guests feel welcome. Definitely not what you expect from a hospitality team, and certainly not a “wow” experience.
Her comment regarding my son showed a total lack of customer care and, frankly, a deep level of disrespect. This kind of reaction is unacceptable and reflects very poorly on the management.
Albergo con grande potenziale, raffinato e in ottima posizione per girare la città comodamente a piedi.
Stanze pulite e ordinate.

Stanza un po piccola. Manca il bidet, il frigobar e una cassetta di sicurezza.
Lo staff non parla italiano pur essendo a pochi minuti dal confine italiano
