Excellent food, friendly staff, warm atmosphere

Excellent, je recommande fortement !

Wedged in between a not-so-pretty marina and the main road, is a hidden gem of a restaurant.

The staff was first class - friendly, charming and helpful. A welcome break from the often unimpressive service on the French riviera...

The food ranged from very good to exceptional. Of all the dishes we tried, the poached egg with truffle and parmesan, the risotto of the day (asparagus, stracciatella and raw ligurian prawns in tartar form), and the lobster pasta were the best. The portions were very generous but other than that, this could easily be served at a 1 Michelin star restaurant (and I'd still be positively surprised).

The location is the only letdown but maybe actually also part of its charm. Had it been more picturesquely situated, this place would have been a destination. On the other hand, it seemed plenty popular as is...

We will certainly be returning very soon, just maybe not for a special occasion due to the surroundings.

My family and i dined here on a Friday night. This place is classy yet not ostentatious. The staff is impeccable and the food excellent. The price one pays for such good food in such a nice atmosphere is definitely worth it. I will be back soon!

Весьма неоднозначное впечатление от посещения данного места.
Если кратко, то повар отличнейший, официанты - как повезет, нам не повезло.
Начало.
Вошли, нас разместили за столом. У дам были сумки (те самые), официант предложил … ведро для льда чтобы в него сложить сумки, но самостоятельно оценив, что сумки туда не разместить элегантно, тогда он предложил «крюк на стол» - что это вообще?
Позже пришла женщина и стала принимать заказ. Так получилось, что на стартер совпало 2 блюда у разных гостей.
По истечении какого-то времени, мы уточнили: 1 блюдо принесли, а когда же будет еще такое-же? А никогда! Если хотим, то нам его начнут готовить. Мы отказались, потому как уже ожидали основные блюда.
Официант #3 обратил внимание на сумки и предложил стул от соседнего стола - уже неплохо.
Основные блюда были великолепны во всем, и вкус и организация и подача - повар реальный мастер своего дела.
Обычно к завершению ужина предлагают что-то, в этом ресторане - лимончелло. На соседних столах так и было, кроме нашего. Наши 3(!) официанта нам ничего не предложили. Ну, да и ладно, рядом есть неплохой бар и там с коктейлями всё нормально.
Принесли счет, в котором лишний пункт. Официанту на это указали он сразу же распереживался и удалился исправлять.
Вернулся, еще раз изменился и протянул терминал для оплаты, на котором счет вырос еще на 100 евро.
Мы оплатили счет без рассудительно автоматически, но сразу же заметили это.
Указали на это официанту #1, #2 и официанту #3.
Подождали пока нам вынесут … нет не лимончелло и в этот момент ничего не предложили, мы ждали нал.
Когда мы выходили из заведения, у нас учтиво уточнили: всё ли нам понравилось?

Superbe endroit, personnel au petit soin, cadre calme et agréable, nous avons testé 5 plats qui étaient tous excellents.

Ristorante vicino al porto di Menton, location non male.

Abbiamo preso un antipasto, un primo e un secondo.

Il pesce non è di qualità alta: il crudo non era nulla di che, il primo aveva la panna e ditemi voi se si può mangiare un primo di pesce con la panna, sulla frittura poco da dire ma non era nulla di eccezionale.

In ultimo il servizio è pressante e poco incline al cliente, fanno tutto molto velocemente senza farti godere la cena, in particolare la signora è stata molto ansiogena sin dall'inizio.

Da un posto così quotato e costoso, mi aspetto molto di più.
Un posto che sicuramente non consiglio.

Arrivés avec (beaucoup) d’avance, nous avons été très bien accueillis !
Par la suite, tout a concouru à nous faire passer une excellente soirée: le cadre, les conseils , la cuisine d’une grande fraîcheur et avec toute la saveur gustative de l’Italie !
Une très belle expérience à un prix raisonnable pour la qualité des produits proposés !!

Quite nice, though a bit overpriced.

A genteel environment, as much as it can be situated on the side of the port road. Calm, middle-aged music contrasts nicely with the bangin’ beats thumping out almost everywhere elase on this resort’s coast. Expensive for what it is (139€ for two, in summer 2025, without dessert and with only one glass of wine). But extremely attentive service, almost intrusively attentive at times, though always well-intentioned.

The menu is short, and suffers from not explaining the dishes adequately – it does not even mention the side dishes, and the otherwise excellent waiter was not clear about what they’d be

The food was high-quality, mostly nice or very nice, chosen from a short carte – there is no prix fixe menu. Standouts were the egg cooked in a fancy way with truffles starter, which was sublime; raw fish starter (see pic), which was beautifully presented and delicious; and the tuna main which suffered from tasteless fish (it really should have been seasoned or marinated) and a Japanese-inspired sauce that was far too strong and overpowering. My fritto misto was good, served with shredded zucchini that were very good. Portion sizes were fine, though not large. We didn'tt have dessert, but the best of them looked to be the café gourmand.

Da evitare. La cucina non è all'altezza dei prezzi del menù. Ho prenotato un tavolo su the fork ed ho pagato su The fork pay. Il pagamento è stato regolarmente effettuato, con tanto di notifica di una mail di conferma del pagamento ricevuta dal ristorante. La proprietaria però ha voluto che pagassi di nuovo il conto, sostenendo di non essere abilitata a ricevere i pagamenti su The fork pay (sull'app c'è scritto però che il ristorante accetta questa modalità di pagamento). Conclusione: ho pagato il conto due volte. Consiglio di stare alla larga da questo posto.

Mekanın atmosferinin çok hoş olduğunu söyleyebilirim. Sessiz ve huzurlu bir köşede yer alıyor. Personel çok sıcak kanlı ve samimi. Geldiğiniz andan itibaren o sıcaklığı hissediyorsunuz. Sipariş alma, yemeklerin servis edilmesi aralarda geçen süreler çok başarılı buldum. Yemeklerin kendisi de çok lezzetliydi. Özellikle deniz mahsülleri yemek isteyenler için tavsiye ediyorum. Yemek iki kişi için 167 Euro tuttu. Hizmet ile eşdeğer diye düşünüyorum.

Nous avons fêté les 80ans de mon Papa ici. On peut dire que ça a été une grande réussite avec un accueil chaleureux et professionnel, des plats de saison savoureux, un service irréprochable avec des serveurs au top, sans oublier la gérante à votre écoute. Je vous le recommande vivement.

Le personnel est très professionnel et aux petits soins. Les produits sont extra-frais et cuisinés de façon à les sublimer au mieux. Bravo :)

Noi a Napoli diremmo: "O Galeon". Esperienza fantastica. Abbiamo affrontato una estenuante marcia a piedi da Cap Martin sino a giungere in codesto punto di ristoro. Migliaia di km a piedi! Pesce fresco.
Ottima la pasta con l'astice!
Ristorante un pò da yacht club da portafogli capiente.
Molto carino. Consigliato!
