Delicious food, local cozy feel, and easy to find. I'm biased as this was home to me. Service was excellent and it is a quiet street for a good terrace dinner.

Als wir ankamen war das Personal zunächst abwehrend, hätte schon der erste Hinweis sein können. Der zweite wurde durch dreckige nicht abgewischte Tische geliefert. Zwei Speisen von dem Tagesmenü Special brachten eine Paella mit merklich nicht frischen Meeresfrüchten einem zähen und geschmacklich fragwürdigen Hühnchen. Dazu wurde eine Pampe Reis mit Erbsen und labbrigen Muscheln serviert. Das andere Gericht Rinderfilet und Pommes, erwies sich als sehr dünne auf dem Grill medium durch gebrannte nach Kohle schmeckende Lappen auf einem Bett aus Salatblätter und getrockneten Tomaten aus dem Glas. Das einzig gute waren die Pommes und der Parmesan auf dem Fleisch. 50 Euro für beides.

Very friendly owner and waiting staff. The dishes were good, a bit too much topping on the veggie pizza though. Lasagne was tasty, and a generous size. They had a good specials board as well. Good selection of deserts. A large beer ‘only’ €7, most places are charging €9. Overall reasonably priced for good quality.

Mediterrane Küche, dazu noch Gerichte aus der Tageskarte...da fällt die Wahl schwer. Freundlicher Service und moderate Preise. Empfehlung..Tisch reservieren

Service efficace ET avenant (un vrai luxe sur la Riviera), pizzas parfaites avec une pâte extra fine et excellent poisson grillé... Un incontournable sur Beaulieu.

We really enjoyed our dinner at this restaurant, everything we ordered tasted delicious and their crème brûlée was the best, very authentic and simple amazing! We received great service by the young French guy, he gave us a nice table in front of the AC, very kind man. Thank you for your hospitality.
Highly recommend this restaurant!!

I recently went to Le Catalan with my two daughters. As we have been going on holiday here for more than 10 years, we had been in this restaurant a few times. On this occasion we ordered chicken and chips for one of my daughters who is coeliac, and we asked if it was possible for me and my other daughter to share a portion of Paella. We asked to share because the paella portions are extremely generous, and we would have ended up wasting one of the portions if we had ordered two. At my request the owner went ballistic and started shouting in French “This is impossible, I can't believe it, one can’t work like that…” and stormed away without finishing to take the order. The other customers kept looking at us trying to understand what had happened. I might understand the owner's point of view, but there are more polite ways to deliver the restaurant's policy. The only reason why we didn’t leave the restaurant is because we were in a hurry to go to the local outdoor cinema. In the end we ordered two pizza Margherita (total 21 euro), instead of a portion of Paella (total 24 euro). The pizzas were very salty and we ended up leaving half pizza each in our plates. Definitely not going back. I have never been treated so rudely in a restaurant.

Très belle découverte. Excellent rapport qualité/prix .Une cuisine excellente avec des prix très compétitifs. En week-end à Beaulieu nous y sommes allés deux soirs de suite ,tellement nous en étions ravis. Service impeccable, serveur très sympathique et très professionnel. Nous y retournerons avec grand plaisir.

Our visit to Catalan in Beaulieu-sur-Mer didn’t quite live up to our culinary expectations. However, it was a necessary choice due to time constraints, requiring a quick lunch option. While the food was adequate for the situation, the overall dining experience left much to be desired. The ambiance of the place was lacking, failing to create a memorable atmosphere. If time allows, I would recommend exploring other dining options in the area for a more satisfying culinary experience.

Peu aimable ! On me fait rappeler 3 fois pour réserver pour qu’au final on me dise, désolé, il n’y a pas de place pour vous ( il y a des russes !!!) probablement plus importants que nous français !!!!
Pour dépenser moins qu’eux ça n’en vaut pas la peine !!!

This is the best restaurant i have ever been to. Everytime i go to france i have to eat here, the food tastes amazing i have been here almost every year multiple times since 2012. I love it here and the people that work here Are so awsome. I think everyone should try this place!

De nouveau de passage sur Nice je suis volontairement revenu dormir sur Beaulieu pour manger ici , nous sommes mardi soir , la terrasse est pleine , la salle quasiment, j’ai attendu exactement 2 minutes pour avoir ma bière et 8 minutes pour avoir ma pizza ????qui est bonne et très bien garnie. Une mention spéciale aux deux serveurs qui sont rapides , efficaces et qui ont le sourire. Je vous recommande vraiment ce restaurant.
