work in progress

We were surprised to see so much work in progress here in June. I would have thought that this would have been a priority prior to the season opening. However I can see the progress being made and we were not concerned by the work. I hope that the new owners do not lose the essence of this site as it was one of the best around. It would not stop us returning.

Needs work urgently

Its supposed to be a 5 star site
I've been coming here for many years but its definably gone downhill this year
Major work has been done with new cabins replacing camping pitches but the renovation work to tidy up afterward has just not been done
Flower beds left with dead plants, if you cannot water them then at least remove the dead plants
Damaged pathing near the bar area
Areas overgrown with weeds - was only being cleared during our second week there
The WIFI provided doesn't have the capacity for the number of people that are trying to use it
No bins in the community areas, it feels like they are trying to get you to take your waste back with you so that they don't have to employ someone to empty the bins

Super semaine

Mobil home très bien équipé. Grande terrasse équipée d un barbecue à gaz et d un grand parasol. Rien à critiquer. Avons passé une très belle semaine avec nos amis.

Nous avons séjourné avec nos jumeaux en bas âge dans un mobile home avec spa, nous avons pu nous reposer les temps de sieste, les installations très propres. Tout était parfait, nous reviendrons avec un grand plaisir????

Super camping, emplacement spacieux , calme et ombragé. Bien situé pour faire des activités à l'extérieur. Petit bémol, l'heure à laquelle le nettoyage est fait. 9h30 Cela n'est pas adapté car il y a du passage et au bout d'une demi heure, c'est dêja très sale et il n'est pas refait dans la journée. De plus il faudrait bloqué l'accès des wc le temps du ménage en avertissant les gens car les vacanciers n'ont aucun scrupules à passer sur le sol qui est entrain de se faire nettoyer. En période de pandémie c'est dommage que celà n'a pas été sérieusement pris en compte. Camping que je recommande.

Détente et bonne humeur sous le soleil

Excellent camping, plutôt haut de gamme, sanitaire privé très pratique même si la douche est très petite.
Emplacement très grand, agréable hors saison, mais très proche des voisins en haute saison.
Camping très bien tenu et très propre. Sanitaires communs haut de gamme, extrêmement bien agencés et conçus pour la facilité d'utilisation. Grand nombre de machines à laver.
Excellent accueil du personnel, au service des clients ce qui nous a facilité l'installation en arrivant un peu tard. Tout le monde, bar, take away, accueil était très gentil.
Nous avons passé un super week-end et nous reviendrons.

Il ne vaux même pas 1 étoiles alors qu'il en a 5. Vraiment déçu. Pub sur un super restaurant qui est en faite fermer. Au niveau de snack impossible d'avoir les bons ingrédients. Vraiment déçu. Au niveau du logement, bas ont est avec les voisins, aucune intimité. Et je ne parle pas de l'entretien du parc et de la piscine.

Mooie familie camping

Mooie familie camping met ruime plaatsen. Ook de plaatsen om de gehuurde caravans zijn ruim. Wij hadden verouderde caravan die aan vervanging toe was. De caravan was schoon maar uit de kasten kwam een muffe lucht. Het zwembad heeft weinig omliggende ruimte ten opzichte van de rest van de camping. De zonnebedden zijn oud en ingezakt. Het restaurant was ivm corona dicht. Het eten bij de take away is prima maar de wachttijd is echt veel te lang. Voor 3 patatjes en een broodje hamburger hebben we ruim een uur gewacht. Je kan helaas niet vooraf bestellen voor een bepaald tijdstip. Saumur is een mooie, grote stad en ligt op 10 minuten rijden van de camping. Al met al een fijne camping als je met eigen caravan of tent bent. Er zijn wel mooie huur caravans aanwezig. Helaas hadden wij die niet.

Séjour très agréable.

Excellent camping pour visiter les châteaux de la Loire des alentours. Le personnel est très agréable et très réactif. Les logements sont confortables et propres. Les emplacements très espacés. Camping familial très calme. Séjour parfait.

Nous étions en mobile home Saumur 2ch. Emplacement à proximité des piscines. Mobile home propre, fonctionnel et bien ombragé.
Dommage de devoir payer les équipements bébé (chaise haute non adapté pour un bébé de 6 mois)

Camping calme et reposant. Pleins d'activités pour les enfants et ados mais dommage que le covid à obligé de fermer 2 activités super : laser game et tir à l'arc !!
