Cadre exceptionnel au calme, hôtes accueillants, l’espace piscine est juste superbe… Si vous souhaitez vous reposer à la campagne dans un joli coin allez-y les yeux fermés, belle découverte, j’y retournerais!

Super séjour passé au domaine ! Petit week-end surprise à mon chéri, réussi ! Un lieu magnifique, excentré, en pleine campagne, dans le plus grand des calmes.

We booked two rooms for two nights after reading the overwhelmingly positive reviews both here and elsewhere. We checked carefully to ensure that the property was suitable for someone with greatly reduced mobility and found it is advertised as wheelchair accessible.
It wasn't easy to tell which room/s were suitable for my friend who has reduced mobility so had to communicate via email with the property and they confirmed the room we then booked at a not insubstantial nightly rate was suitable and had a walk in shower.
Unfortunately, it became very clear after arrival that the property is very definitely not suitable for anyone with reduced mobility due to the rough gravel flooring across the site and distances between buildings and it is very difficult to see how it could possibly be wheelchair accessible for the same reasons plus steps. We didn't see any ramps so please ensure you check before booking.
We had to leave after our first night as it was so unsuitable and such a disappointment but despite it being a holiday weekend and we believed it was very possible that they could have relet the rooms, we had to pay for them for the second night.
In terms of the quality of the rooms, I was very disappointed with the one I was allocated which was immediately opposite the main building. I've included a couple of photos which show a random football table in the lobby which is not what I expected to find in a property offering rooms at a relatively expensive rate.
The strangest example of how standards were very far below my expectations would be the bedside lamp and the stretch of cable across the wall! There was a light switch on the wall by the door but it did absolutely nothing.
