Liked: The space, convenience for the shuttle.

Liked: We liked the welcome we received and the smart, attractive layout of the site. We were shown to a pitch that was shady( a good thing with the extreme July temperatures) and not far from the pool area. The pool was great- even had a water slide which we tested out!
There is a restaurant on the site(we didn’t use it as we only stayed one night but heard good things about it. We did use the take away/ snack bar though which we enjoyed.
The showers/ toilets were clean, had loo roll in and toilet seats ! and were of a very good standard.
Disliked: Our only disappointment was being asked to leave the pool at 6! All other sites we stayed at were open til 8.

Liked: Large, sheltered pitch, serviced. Clean facilities, hot showers. Great snack bar serving simple food cooked well. Restaurant on site was very good too…but book early at weekends.
Easy access to Calais, and great beaches within 15-20 minute drive.
Well organised, and helpful staff.
Lovely swimming pool.
Perfect spot for pre-or post channel crossing stopover.
Disliked: Perhaps some better shade around the bar/snack bar area? Existing canopies not very effective in the late afternoon and early evening when the sun gets a bit lower.

Not just for a quick overnight stop, lots to do in the area. Pitches are a good size and the facilities are good.. Bar, snack bar with takeaway pool play areas and a great restaurant.

Handy for a stop off before or after the ports. Spacious site with plenty of pitches, ample toilet and shower blocks and an indoor (covered by chilly pool).
Onsite but limited shop, bar, takeaway and restaurant. Plenty to do onsite for a night or two. We stayed in our motorhome but they welcome caravans, campervan, and also have lodges to stay in too (eurocamp).

Very convenient for Le Shuttle, 15 minutes from junction 42b. Very clean and tidy site. Small pool but was too full for me to try.
Motorhome service point on exit with chemical toilet, grey waste and water facilities.
Didn't try the takeaway or restaurants which are only open a few hours at night.
Very expensive, too much in my opinion.

We had a great experience at Chateau Camping de la Bien Assise. We used the shop in the morning and had fresh baguettes and croissants, they also sell locally produced products. We had lovely pizzas and drinks from the bar in the evening. Guines town is a short walk away and a great place to have a walk around and take in the history. The pool was clean and our children loved the playground so I can't fault the place. |All the staff were very friendly and talkative and helped me with my french which I struggle with. It's a short drive to some interesting visits for eg WW2 museums and forts .All in all a great stay. Thank you.

Fabulous campsite with lovely friendly staff! Started our France adventure here with 2 nights here a d lived it so much we stayed on our way back home. So handy for the Eurotunnel. See you next year hopefully! ????????????

Mooie camping sanitair zuiver , netjes word bijgehouden maar zeker geen 5 *|Beheerders rijden als malloten over de camping zowel met de golfkar als prive auto's , snackbar en take away duur en slecht mischien volgens Engelse standaard prima maar zoals gezegd vreselijk duur , staanplaats en de rest zeker geen 5 sterren en komen hier nooit meer .

Stayed here over the last 10 years & the location for the convenience of travelling via Eurotunnel or ferry it’s hard to beat. Site facilities are basic but pool is available as well as a friendly bar for food & drinks. My issue is the price as it seems to have crept a little too high but I still use it for the location etc.

Schitterende parkachtige camping op terrein bij landhuis, Sanitair zeer net en schoon, zelfs een ligbad! en uitgebreid mindervaliden sanitair. De eigenaren zijn enorm gastvrij en hartelijk. Mooie omgeving, verrassend veel te zien, en sla zeker het museum Tour d'horloge in het dorp niet over: erg leuk ook met kinderen!

Super expérience, le camping avait été réservé pour mes enfants à l'occasion d'un mariage, le mien.
L'endroit est très très beau, le lodge était très confortable.
Gros point noir : l'accueil !
Une dame d'un certain âge nous a reçu, très désagréable envers mes enfants et moi-même pour nous expliquer le fonctionnement du camping mais d'une manière très désinvolte et irrespectueuse.
Les deux petites jeunes présentes avec cette dame ont par contre réussi à sauver la face, et adoucir la situation.
L'endroit est très très beau, le lodge était très confortable.

Liked: The pitches are big and well looked after. May possibly need levelling on some pitches, but mostly level. The camp is very well maintained with lovely manicured and shaped hedges. The toilet facilities are always very clean, probably could do with an update but still well looked after and maintained.
The staff are very nice, friendly and helpful.
We always eat at the restaurant, which is very nice and good food. Large portions.

Camping agréable avec de grands emplacements ... Piscine couverte avec petit toboggan, idéal pour les enfants .
Sanitaires très propres .
Très pratique pour un court séjour car camping de passage . Bien situé car pas mal de choses à visiter à proximité.

Second time I've been to this site,once camping and this time the lodge. The site itself is faultless and in a lovely area and the staff are fantastic and the service is good. The only issue we had this time was the lodge itself that we just couldn't bond with sadly. The lodge was ok but the outside gas bbq wasn't working .plus the outside furniture and decking quite dirty, plus weed hanging out the gutter lol.. Can understand this was caused by a lot of trees right by us as we was at the back.I didn't bother the staff and just got on with if and cleaned the stuff down myself, except the gutter.
Also the first night dog owners be aware the don't let your dogs go into the bushes in between the lodges as ours did, Being a white cavapoo and groomed and bathed the day before she went through them and within an hour of being in the lodge she was literally crawling with them. Lovely first eve my partner and me defleaing her for hours. The following day we were sorting her out and fumigating everywhere. Luckily we won????????, so it maybe an idea to take some flea shampoo and tablets etc Incase. I don't blame the site at all for this as it's the way it is . The site is lovely though and staff are pleasant. Would advise anyone to go. Very quite site and relaxing, the pool is lovely too. Lovely location to travel to places also.
