Implanté à 9 km d'Avignon, au sein d'un parc de 3 hectares, ce havre de paix possède les traits d'un château construit en 1738.

Cet hôtel de charme se trouve dans un château construit en 1738 niché dans un parc de 3 hectares. L'hôtel s'articule sur deux étages autour de l'escalier en pierre. Ouvrant sur la verdure, les chambres – certaines magnifiquement parquetées, d'autres sublimées par une moquette ultra-moelleuse – sont décorées de tissus imprimés. Les salles de bains ont été réalisées par l'orfèvre avignonnais en la matière, Hydropolis. Pour les petits déjeuners, aux fruits fournis par les agriculteurs locaux, vous aurez le choix entre un joli salon ou une terrasse fleurie.

My husband and I stayed in Chateau de Varenne for 3 nights in July 2024. This chateau is an exclusive historical boutique hotel with the fantastic location in a small town of Sauveterre: 10-minute walk to the Cotes du Rhone vineyards, 20 minute-drive from Avignon and Orange, as well as Chateneuf du Pape. It has a beautiful park and terrace with a lovely view of the Rhone valley, the best possible place for breakfast. We appreciated an elegant room and the overall chateau interiors, cleanness, outdoor swimming pool in the park, and a wonderful very personable service. The Radford family, which owns the chateau, and the staff (Stephanie and Marc) made our stay outstanding. They made us to feel as we were the special guests and helped in all aspects, which we wanted to address. What impressed us in the chateau is the balance of noble sophistication of the XVIII century with friendly laid-back communication style of the XXI century. We highly recommend Chateau de Varenne as marvelous hotel in Provence.

Voor iedereen die die de mogelijkheid heeft zou je hier minstens een week moeten verblijven om de heerlijke charme en rust te laten doordringen die Emma, Paul,het personeel, het kasteel, de omgeving biedt. Onvergelijkbaar en niet in woorden uit te drukken. Dus alleen ervaren is de boodschap !!!!

What a wonderful place to stay. |We spent 3 days there this week. |Truly beautiful château ,the decor, gardens, pool area and the warm welcoming atmosphere . Nothing too much trouble. Emma, Paul snd everyone working there were just amazing. Emma |booked local restaurants for us, she also gave us great tips on places to visit.

What an amazing holiday! Everything about this place is 10/10. Paul & Emma were the best hosts anyone could ask for - so welcoming, helpful and really made our visit extra special. Breakfast was one of the many highlights with loads of fresh options to choose from every morning! (Fresh baguettes are a must try!) Location is perfect for exploring nearby vineyards or the amazing streets of Avignon!|If you’re looking for a relaxing break in an amazing and tranquil property - then this place is for you! I can’t wait to come back again!!
