Avis HÔTEL MOULIN PLAZA Paris

Had a wonderful 5 nights here… fantastic location to metro stations, Gare du Nord, walkable to River Seine. The staff were welcoming, ready to answer questions, explain about the local area…
Can highly recommend and will definitely come back…

Reception and lobby area resembled a construction zone while we were there. No mention of this when we booked. Rooms were decent size, clean and newly refurbished. Surrounding area, while close to the lovely Montmartre, was red light district and came with all the issues you would expect from that area.

Actuellement en travaux donc chambre rénovée, c'est très bien.
Nous n'avons pas été gêné par les travaux
La Chambre (classique) était propre et la déco moderne.
La réceptionniste est très gentille.

Seuls bémols
- gros manque d'isolation phonique, on entend le bruit des portes qui claquent, les passages et les discussions des voisins.
- salle d'eau/WC dans la même pièce, très petite c'est étouffant.. et la porte est tellement légère qu'elle fait beaucoup de bruit. Je ne sais pas si la la salle d'eau/wc sont également dans la même pièce et font la même superficie dans les suites ?
- manque un mini frigo/mini bar

Location is good, some of the people at the front desk were good too, some of them were rude.

Air conditioning was broken and made loud clicking noises, and our door card stopped working randomly on our second last night. Rooms are small and there is nowhere to store anything or sit.

Manageress Matilda extremely polite and helpful. Hotel perfectly situated for the show. I have stayed here last November had a great stay unfortunately this time the hotel resembled a building site. Rooms 7 & 8 needs more soundproofing could hear conversations of occupants plus showers and toilet. Room 7 had steps leading to the bathroom which were a hazard. Both rooms needed a small table to put kettle and cups etc which were only provided on request. Building works started just before 6.20am and continued throughout the day drilling banging voices of the builders raised. Treated my partner niece and nephew to stay at this hotel and we all were very disappointed there was building materials on the stairs and all around the hotel. A painter was painting directly outside of our rooms causing a bit of hassle trying to get out of our rooms. We were never informed that the hotel was being refurbished and that building works would be carried out whilst we were trying to sleep etc. I would appreciate some recompense for our stay if I could have found another hotel to accommodate us we would have done.

L'hôtel est actuellement en travaux donc nous n'avons pas un aperçu final des rénovations, mais elles annoncent un endroit vraiment élégant et chic.

Malgré la proximité du quartier Blanche animé le soir, on dort au calme dans les chambres.

Accueillis à trois dans une suite au quatrième étage, nous avons apprécié la petite terrasse avec vue sur les toits de Paris, ainsi que le confort des matelas et la décoration travaillée d'or et de vert foncé.

Dû aux travaux, la salle des petits déjeuners n'était pas disponible, nous avons donc pu profiter de boxs petit déjeuner très fournies pour un prix plus que raisonnable.

L'hôtel se trouve à pieds à :
• 5 min - Moulin Rouge
• 2 à 8 min- métro ou plusieurs arrêts de bus
• 10 min - Place Clichy

Dans l'ensemble, très satisfaits de notre nuit dans cet hôtel, nous garderons l'adresse. Merci à la dame pour son accueil, et sa disponibilité.

Estaban de obras durante mi estancia…así que disculpamos ciertos inconvenientes ????

Ho soggiornato per 3 notti dalla mia stanza guardavo la torre Eiffel e a 1 minuto a piedi dall’ingresso dell’hotel il mouline rouge… Situato in una posizione strategica

Super hôtel

Hotel con posizione ottima. Durante il nostro soggiorno era un cantiere, stanno ristrutturando.. sinceramente lo avrei chiuso per quel periodo considerato la polvere bianca dei lavori ovunque (passata anche sotto la porta della camera). Camera discreta, letto non comodissimo ma pulita. Personale molto gentile

We really enjoyed our stay here - I think the only thing that disappointed is that the photos on the website aren't quite reality so expectations were really high. |Location: great. Less than 5 minutes walk to Moulin Rouge, surrounded by food places and Blanche metro station.|Staff: really really lovely and welcoming and happy to provide suggestions felt very safe/secure. Provided a bottle of champagne for my birthday at request of my partner (not provided for free fyi)|Renovations: Shame to visit during these but if they are trying to update/upkeep the place a bit that is fair and not something we can complain about. The noise didn't disturb us at all.|Room: Basic and bedside tables squint all needs a bit of a spruce up however saying that very clean and great shower and really all you need for a city break. Temperature fine in the room also. |Balcony/view: Yes you can see the Moulin Rouge from the balcony but you have to stand out on the balcony beside a planter. There is definitely not space for a table and 2 chairs like seen on the photo so couldn't sit out and admire the view with a morning coffee as we thought. (We were in a deluxe room.)|

I had the worst hotel experience in Paris, spending €786.3 yet only managing to stay for one night. The only reason I tolerated even that was due to exhaustion from my long-haul flight from Canada, leaving me too drained to argue with the front desk.

From the moment we checked in, we were assigned a room filled with a pungent sewage odor, poor sound insulation, and outdated facilities. When we requested a refund to leave the hotel, it was denied, even when we offered to accept just a 50% refund as a compromise. Instead, we were moved to a ground-floor room without a balcony, despite having paid for the hotel’s best available room.

Our Experience with the Room
The sewage smell was pungent and unbearable.
The sound insulation was extremely poor—we could clearly hear noises from the next room and the corridor.
The hairdryer stopped working after just one minute of use.
The narrow elevator was completely different from what the hotel advertised.

Service Issues
The daytime front desk staff was rude and completely disrespectful, from her quote "No one will refund you! " refusing our refund request outright.
Their idea of compensation was a takeaway breakfast, which was completely unacceptable and in no way made up for the terrible experience. Naturally, we refused it.
The night-shift receptionist was the only good experience I had at this hotel—he was professional, reliable, and constructive in his communication. If you must stay here, I strongly recommend checking in after 7 PM to avoid dealing with the daytime staff.
The next morning, when we made it clear that we were leaving, the daytime receptionist again responded in an accusatory and confrontational manner, even arguing with my girlfriend. It was frustrating and unacceptable.

This receptionist seems to be the biggest problem in this hotel—if she treats every guest this way, then the hotel is beyond saving. If she only treated us like this, I have every reason to suspect that this was racial discrimination.

Great location and no traffic noise. The staff were very friendly. There was some renovation work in the hotel from 8am every day. The room had some damp on the wall near the window and paint peeling off the ceiling in the bathroom. We didn‘t try the breakfast as it was just a take away option.

Accueil sympa, bon petit dej. Sinon la chambre est très petite et pas asser d'espace pour déposer les valises en absence des armoires

Sono stato all’Hotel Moulin Plaza tre giorni a settimana a gennaio, e Khaled alla reception è stato eccellente. Era sempre pronto a rispondere alle mie domande e mi ha dato ottimi consigli. Il suo sorriso amichevole ha reso il soggiorno ancora più piacevole

Super zentrales Hotel. Alles klein und verwinkelt, aber ausreichend.
Zimmer ziemlich hellhörig, liegen sogar schon Ohrenstöpsel auf dem Zimmer.
Wasserkocher vorhanden für Kaffee oder Tee.
Metro und Bus in unmittelbarer Nähe.
Man kann sein Gepäck bei früherer Anreise oder späterer Abreise kostenlos unterstellen.
Würde ich jederzeit wieder buchen

Его ценные советы и быстрые ответы на мои вопросы сделали мое пребывание в Париже намного приятнее. Его доброта и профессионализм оставили неизгладимое впечатление. Очень рекомендую этот отель всем, кто планирует посетить город!

Stanza molto piccola, ma nel complesso decente.|il bagno il primo giorno puzzava di fogna poi per fortuna la puzza e sparita.|Ci hanno cambiato le lenzuola ogni giorno ma per due giorni uno dei due letti aveva lenzuola sporche come lenzuola “pulite” sono sceso in reception per farmele cambiare e me le hanno fatte cambiare da solo perchè non era presente il personale addetto.|Diciamo che la pulizia non è il massimo.|Forniscono tappi per le orecchie per il rumore, noi eravamo nel lato opposto alla strada e per fortuna il rumore era inesistente perció non ne abbiamo avuto bisogno.|Il personale è molto cordiale e gentile almeno per chi sta alla reception.|Il costo è giusto, in una parigi piuttosto costosa. |Se trovate altro è meglio

What a fantastic hotel. You are at the heart of everything. The staff are amazing nothing is to much. The French breakfast was good. This was my first time in Paris & I will definitely be coming back to this hotel.

Hotel agréable et très bon accueil.

The location is solid, which makes it a 4. It's right next to Blanche for the Metro. The wifi is nearly non existent, which makes this place frustrating. We spent most of the time away, so that helped. The walls are paper thin so you can hear everything, including water draining. The rooms aren't too small, but it's cozy. Awkward placement of shower door, where you can't take a real shower without getting water everywhere. Paper cups instead of porcelain. Just not superb, but great for location.

Je suis allé dans cet hôtel avec ma femme pendant 2 nuits, et c'était parfait.
L'hôtel est très bien situé, avec en prime la vue sur le Moulin Rouge depuis notre balcon.
Nous l'avons choisi pour sa proximité avec la Cigale qui est à quelques centaines de mètres, et nous ne regrettons pas du tout notre choix.
Le personnel est très accueillant, les chambres sont propres et calmes et le petit déjeuner est très correct.

I write this review with regret because initially the hotel was mostly great. Location is really nice, a lot of restaurants and supermarkets and the metro is right outside. On our first day (Friday) we informed the staff of the Wi-Fi not working which ultimately was not a big deal as we weren't in the room too much. But it was all the rooms on the first floor, not just ours. We found ants in our room each night and then on our final night the main lights in the room did not work. We had our 18-month-old with us which posed a bit unsafe with only the side table lights working. We understood there wasn't much that could be done at 9 pm Sunday evening. But when I contacted the property about my frustrations as this hotel is not cheap, I was all but called a liar about the lights. It is a real shame because we understood the front desk could only do so much but the customer service from whomever is in charge of their help desk was egregiously poor. Honestly would not recommend unless you simply need a bed to sleep in.
