It’s wonderful. Small rooms but perfectly adequate. Service is attentive and efficient and the restaurant is lovely. Sit on the terrace and have a drink. My daughter felt welcome.

The room on the first night had a staircase to the bathroom which was uneven, and overall not ideal. I changed rooms and everything was near perfect. Excellent service, food, location, gym, etc.

Wonderful stay. Unfortunately the spa was closed for repairs, but still one of our best hotel experiences we have ever had in Paris.

I stayed in this hotel for 9 days because I was in town for a painting class. I was in room 403 and I loved it. It was small but with 3 wonderful windows that opened to a quiet beautiful street. The voile curtains were so cute. The room felt more like an apartment than a hotel room. Beds were comfortable and sheets and towels were nice.
There was an employee named Charles who went out of his way to make sure my stay was perfect. He made me feel very welcome.
I’m a James Joyce fan so I enjoyed the excerpts from his book Ulysses that were placed on our beds at night.
Breakfast was really good. The pistachio soufflée on the dinner menu is a must have. ( I had it twice!)
The spa is really just a massage room- nothing fancy. But it was warm and comfortable.
I thought the bar was uncomfortable and not welcoming. The light is too bright and something about the layout of the furniture is not inviting or comfortable. Also people are walking through it, and they trip over your feet when they are going by. I had to walk through the bar area to get to my room and it was always awkward. I think the lobby area would make a better bar area and the cute library could serve as a lobby.
This hotel is not as luxurious as the Penisula, Shangra La, and Lutetia - but it was less pretentious and I did not feel underdressed walking through the bar in my clothes from my painting class. Everyone was so friendly that I felt right at home. And the neighborhood is my favorite in Paris. So I’m sure I’ll stay here again.
The concierges were so helpful!

This is lovely small hotel in a perfect location. The public spaces are beautiful and very comfortable. Most of the rooms are lovely. The rooms in the main section of the hotel, above the reception, are especially nice. The spa is great and the service throughout the hotel is very attentive. My only suggestions are to limit children in the pool/spa to certain hours and to ask upon check-in when you would like the room to be serviced in the mornings and evenings.

This is a lovely boutique hotel with an exclusive feel. The rooms were plush, the spa was lovely and the breakfast was something to look forward to. The aesthetics of this property are lovely as well. The location of this hotel is truly fabulous - with cafes, museums and art galleries just a stone's throw away. We made lovely memories here!

Pavillon Faubourg Saint-Germain is a truly wonderful hotel. The staff are all incredibly friendly and welcoming. Everyone at the front desk was helpful (even going above and beyond to return items left in our room after checkout) and the location is ideal. We traveled with guests ranging from 13-75 and everyone loved our time here. We will definitely return!

Pavillon Faubourg Saint-Germain was a hotel that had it all. Great breakfast, perfect location and helpful and wonderful staff. Before we arrived they assisted us in setting up all our transportation needs and once we were there they continued to help us with last minute arrangements. They also assisted in setting up meet and greet service at the airport so once off the plane we moved quickly through the crowds and we were on our way. It was a perfect stay for our first time in Paris! Our junior suite was an excellent size with plenty of room. The details of the room were exactly what we wanted for our Parisian stay! Housekeeping was excellent in makeup and turndown service always fulfilling any special request we made regarding extra towels. We are already planning a return!

Last minute trip to Paris and the staff at the hotel made it exceptional! Our room was a beautiful suite, very comfortable. Breakfast was delicious but the highlight was Clement, the bartender in the cozy, lovely bar. Greeted us every evening when we arrived with a great smile! Perfect location, would definately stay here again!

I’ve stayed in perhaps twenty or more five-star boutique hotels in European capitals, and while each has had its own unique character and charm, Pavillon Faubourg Saint Germain (PFSG) impressed me the most. Nina and Brice were particularly helpful and friendly, making our experience all the more memorable.||We needed a room for four nights in Paris around New Year’s Day. Our preference is usually a Junior Suite so we can move around comfortably, unwind in the late afternoon before heading out again in the evening. We also appreciate being able to unpack fully, so we feel at home. Additionally, we sought a quiet, chic, and central location, ideally within walking distance of museums, attractions, and restaurants.||After researching PFSG on various hotel sites, I found it to be the best fit. I booked through the American Express Hotel Collection, which offered a better rate and more favorable terms than other platforms. Their rate included flexible cancellation, a full breakfast, and a variety of additional perks. I communicated with Brice, the concierge, who thoughtfully refined restaurant recommendations after understanding our preferences.||Upon arrival just after noon, I expected to ask about the Hotel Collection benefits—such as a $100 voucher, room upgrade (if available), early check-in, and late check-out. To my surprise, Nina, the charming receptionist, immediately handed me a sheet outlining these benefits and explained how to use them. She then informed us that they had a room upgrade available. We were escorted up five flights to the James Joyce Suite, the finest accommodation in the hotel. What a delightful surprise! Nina showed us around the suite and, true to the hotel’s culture, left without any expectation of a tip—something consistent throughout our stay. She and the entire team greeted us warmly each time we passed.||Over the course of our five-day stay, the attention to detail was evident. The room staff kept us well-stocked with bottled water (which we consumed in abundance). All snacks and beverages, including the refrigerated ones, were complimentary. They also provided adaptors for our US plugs and iPhones. Turn-down service patiently awaited our departure each evening. The cocktails in the bar were theatrical and fun, and the breakfast buffet was fresh, varied, and gourmet—among the best I’ve had. The omelettes were exceptional, and they even served us freshly filtered coffee instead of the standard Americano.||While much of the hotel’s amenities can be seen on the website—the pool, spa, and yoga room are lovely but small as I’d expected—the bar, though compact, was welcoming and friendly. We only dined in the restaurant for breakfast, but it’s worth noting it has a Michelin recommendation.||Every member of the PFSG team—reception, concierge, bartenders, breakfast servers, and room service—strives to meet an exceptionally high standard, and they succeeded. Though the hotel is not inexpensive and doesn’t offer a spectacular view, the neighborhood is quiet, chic, and just a few blocks from the Seine, within strolling distance to many major attractions, shops, and restaurants.||A heartfelt thank you to Nina, Brice, and the entire staff for making our stay in Paris so comfortable and memorable. We will cherish these wonderful memories.

Exceptional stay. Staff treated us great and the hotel was lovely. We booked via AmEx, and they accommodated the benefits beautifully. We traveled with our 1 year old and the hotel could not have supported us any better. We also used nearly all facilities (except a spa treatment), and everything was great.

Excellent location (!). Overall this is a really nice hotel in a historical building offering luxury boutique ammenities. Welcoming and friendly staff. The bar serves amazing cocktails (memorable), which we enjoyed after long walking days.

The challenge for us was that to access our room we had to walk through the restaurant (Les Parisiens) and take the stairs next to the kitchen. It was awkward having to stroll next to patrons wearing a robe on the way back from the spa. Perhaps a small or irrelevant detail for some, but it was uncomfortable and made us question whether to come back at this otherwise amazing hotel.

Note: not all rooms are accessible through the restaurant/kitchen. Unfortunately, ours was (and several others). I am sure our experience would have been much better if we had stayed in one of those rooms.
