Hotel muito bom, localização excelente, quarto limpo e com tamanho bom. O banheiro bastante pequeno (a área do chuveiro), mas dentro do esperado para Paris. Equipe MUITO educada e atenciosa. O café da manhã tem bastante opção e a funcionária que organiza o café (que infelizmente não sei o nome) foi muito solicita e simpática- só tenho elogios!

Every time I go to Paris I stay at the Claude Bernard. It's impeccably clean, cozy, the décor is very pleasantl, and the staff is friendly and helpful. The location is great, within walking distance of Motre-Dame ( a 7, 8 minute walk away). The Maubert-Mutualitéi metro station is a 5-minute walk away and buses drive by the hotel frequently. My mom and I stayed at this hotel during our trip to Paris and we were so impressed. The hotel was beautiful, charming, and clean.||Upon check-in, we met Rachid at the front desk who was a joy to see again each day of our trip. He was friendly, helpful, and funny.||The room itself was a gorgeous corner room with bright windows and a balcony overlooking the street (we could even see Notre Dame in the distance). We were extremely comfortable and it truly felt like home to return to at the end of our long days walking the city. We highly recommend this hotel and we are already looking forward to returning.

Disappointing Reality vs. Expectations - Our Stay at This St. Germain Hotel

I booked this hotel six months in advance after reading promising reviews on Booking.com and taking advantage of a Genius discount. Unfortunately, the reality fell significantly short of expectations.

The room we received was dramatically smaller than what was depicted in the online photos - a true disappointment after traveling all day. The ceiling paint was visibly blistering in multiple areas, suggesting maintenance issues. Most concerning was returning after a long day of sightseeing to find my pillow had been left on the floor and empty water bottles remained on the table from earlier room service.

For a 3-star hotel in St. Germain commanding premium prices, this level of service and accommodation quality is simply unacceptable. While the location is convenient, I cannot recommend this property based on our experience. Future travelers should be aware of the significant disconnect between online representation and reality.

Friendly, convenient, clean and welcoming hotel within 5 minutes of Mayberry-Mutualité Metro. Fridge in room, plenty of closet space for a short stay, and lots of hot water for relaxing shower at the end or start of the day. Breakfast available but there is also a great Patisserie across the street for a quiet breakfast with lots of choices. Good selection of restaurants within 1-2 blocks. Market on Tuesday morning at the Place Maubert, 5 minute walk. Notre Dame and Pantheon within 10-15 minute walk. Great place.

Certes une partie des chambres aurait besoin d'une rénovation (c'était le cas de la mienne).
Mais le personnel est incroyable ! Des gens heureux de travailler là, et du coup sympathiques, serviables, prêts à rendre service.
Le petit-déjeuner est très complet et de qualité.
Et bien sûr, l'emplacement est idéal.
Je reviendrai avec plaisir.

Posizione strategica, personale gentile

Está muy bueno, bonito y barato. No es un hotel para las personas con movilidad reducida, es decir, es todo por escaleras y el ascensor es muy pequeño.
Pero el servicio fue estupendo y nos trataron muy bien. Las habitaciones son grandes teniendo en cuenta que parís se caracteriza por tener habitaciones muy chicas. Y el baño, está bien. Era limpio. Tenía linda vista a la ciudad.

Localização espectacularas o hotel é antigo e o elevador nem dá para 2 pessoas de tão pequeno que é. O quarto muito pequeno e o duche mínimo... a cama era confortável. Vale pela Localização.

Esta es una de esas opiniones, donde me cuesta calificar un establecimiento como "muy bueno", porque me parece sobrevalorarlo; y darle un "Regular", me parece injusto.|Creo que tendríamos que tener una sexta alternativa, entre regular y muy bueno, y esa sería simplemente "Bueno".|Dicho esto, aquí desarrollo mi comentario de lo que fue mi experiencia de una semana en este hotel parisino.|Para comenzar, me asignaron una habitación en el quinto piso, dónde realmente dos personas no entraban. No tardé ni 5 minutos en bajar a la recepción y quejarme, entonces me asignaron una habitación más grande, en la esquina del piso 2 (creo que era la 26), la cual estaba más acorde a mis expectativas.|Entiendo que encontrar alojamiento en Paris siempre fue difícil, sobre todo, si no estas dispuesto a pagar un disparate, pero tampoco estaba dispuesto a aceptar todo, sin hacerme escuchar.|Se nota que es un edificio antiguo, y lógicamente los cuartos siguen esa línea, pero hay detalles de mantenimiento que podrían mejorar.|Por ejemplo, el mal llamado ascensor, es un montacarga dónde solo entra una persona con una valija no muy grande, lo que dificulta el check-in y check-out, cuando estás con una persona mayor como en mi caso, que no puede subir y bajar escaleras.|A FAVOR: La limpieza del cuarto es perfecta, y el señor recepcionista de la mañana y la chica venezolana creo, del front desk, son muy amables y atentos (perdón por no recordar sus nombres).|El desayuno está muy bueno, variado y sabroso, con un esmerado servicio. |En el cuarto hay frigobar que enfría muy bien, con dos botellas de agua de cortesía. Jarra térmica con café y té y Caja de seguridad, que completan el equipamiento de la habitación.|Baño bien limpio, cómodo, con tollas de calidad y cantidad suficientes.|LO MEJOR: Sin dudas es la ubicación. Zona muy tranquila y segura. Entre el Barrio Saint Germain y próximo al Barrio latino, estábamos solo a cuadras de la Catedral de Notre Dame, cerca de paradas de buses y de Metro. Repito, es Excelente la ubicación !!!!|LO PEOR: El recepcionista nocturno que habla árabe que no sé cómo se llamaba. Le pedí una noche que fuimos al Moulin Rouge, que me llamara un taxi (Hay un cartel en recepción que ofrece este servicio) y llamó una amiga para que nos lleve, hasta ahí ningún problema, El inconveniente fue que nos estafó con la tarifa, Eu$ 100 ida y vuelta, cuando un Uber al otro día, me cobro menos de la mitad. Cómo uno está de visitante no quise discutir, pero nunca más le pedí un taxi durante mi estadía, utilicé la aplicación de Uber que es mucho mejor y más transparente. Este tipo de basura deshonesta le hace mucho daño al hotel, y no deberían permitir que semejante delincuente trabaje allí. Cuando volvimos más tarde esa misma noche, estaba durmiendo en un sillón de la recepción y ni siquiera nos escuchó ingresar.|Con todas las explicaciones del caso, y los detalles de mi estadía, concluyo que el hotel es bueno, pero vayan sabiendo que mis comentarios sinceros y desinteresados, ojalá les puedan ayudar, para mejorar su experiencia.|LO RECOMIENDO POR LA RELACIÓN PRECIO= UBICACIÓN=SERVICIO

Casi no se puede abrir la valija y para bañarse hay que practicar contorcionismo....

Nos alojamos por 7 noches. La habitación que nos dieron era muy pequeña, sobretodo el baño, muy complicado incluso para ducharse o secarse. Muebles viejos/gastados y muchos detalles que dejaban bastante que desear. La calefacción no funcionó nunca (noviembre-diciembre), aunque no pasamos frío. El wifi y la TV funcionaban intermitentemente. No obstante, el personal muy atento y amable en general. El desayuno bien y los espacios comunes bastante cómodos. Lo mejor, ¡la ubicación!

Abbiamo soggiornato in questo hotel per una settimana e l'unica pecca trovata é stata la pulizia e l'ordine della stanza, niente di disastroso ma bisognerebbe avere più cura nel fare i letti e nel pulire bene tutto (stavp cercando un cappello e pensando fosse caduto sotto il letto mi sono abbassata trovando un sacco di polvere). La colazione dell'hotel é variegata, c'é davvero tutto per tutti i gusti, ed é tutto ottimo. Il personale della reception e della cucina é molto gentile e disponibile. Il punto forte dell'hotel é senza dubbio la sua posizione, nel cuore del quartiere latino, l'hotel si trova a pochi minuti a piedi da Notre Dame e da moltissimi ristoranti e negozi. Ci tornerei e mi sento di consigliarlo a chi vuole soggiornare nell'incantevole capitale francese!

Clean, comfortable, very friendly and accommodating staff. They were so kind and we were lucky to get our rooms early after a long flight. We walked everywhere, and if too far to walk, several metro stops are very nearby. Perfect neighborhood for my family of three teen and young adult boys to stay in with all the cafes, markets and restaurants, and booking two twin rooms allowed us to spread out. Some street noise obviously as it’s a big city, and some noise from the hall but even over the New Year holiday, it was much quieter at night than I imagined it would be. Thank you to all the welcoming staff for a lovely holiday stay.

Disappointed. Last visit 13 years ago. Hotel has not aged well, depressing lobby, different vibe now. Room was clean but very small; last visit our kids were young, so we had larger family room to sleep 4. Unpleasant smell in hallways, maybe some type of perfumed cleaning product. There is only one narrow, winding exit stairway for whole hotel, and there were no smoke detectors in our rooms though I saw one in the hallway outside our door. Mistakenly thought breakfast was included and overpaid for it, though the food and service were nice enough (served in the basement). The plumbing worked well, just be careful climbing into the tub. The greasy-handled hair dryer was partially melted. One working outlet. Nice windows opening onto rue des Ecoles. For a family or group, an Air B&B or VRBO may offer better value.

Hôtel très bien situé. Propre et bien tenu. Juste qu'il commence à porter le poids des années et qu'une mise à niveau s'impose...

Il punto di forza di questo Hotel è la posizione strategica e la variegata e buona colazione, gestita in maniera organizzata e impeccabile (caffè della macchinetta buonissimo). La camera piccola ma con vista panoramica mentre la pulizia non era accurata e a tratti superficiale; scarso isolamento termico e acustico degli infissi per cui passavano spifferi e si sentivano le voci dalla strada come se le finestre fossero aperte! Letto e cuscini molto comodi. Degna di nota la presenza in bagno di dispenser di bagnoschiuma, shampoo, sapone liquido e crema per il corpo. Per chi viaggia è un servizio in più e meno peso in valigia! Eliminerei la tenda in doccia perché poco igienica. Ascensore claustrofobico adatto solo per una sola persona con valigia. Personale gentile e accogliente.

Fuimos dos parejas. Una habitación con cama de matrimonio liliputiense. La habitación de dos camas, mucho mejor.

The location of the hotel is perfect for exploring the charming neighbourhood of Saint-Germain. It is surrounded by quaint cafes, boutique shops, and beautiful architecture. The famous Notre Dame Cathedral is also just a short walk away.

The room itself was spacious, clean, and beautifully decorated. The bed was incredibly comfortable and I had a great night's sleep every night. The amenities provided were top-notch, including a Nespresso machine, luxurious toiletries, and a mini-fridge stocked with complimentary water.

One of the highlights of my stay was the breakfast. The hotel offers a delicious continental breakfast with a variety of options including fresh pastries, fruits, cheeses, and meats. It was the perfect way to start my day before exploring the city.

The staff at Hôtel Claude Bernard Saint-Germain truly went above and beyond to make my stay memorable. They were always willing to assist with any requests and provided excellent recommendations for restaurants and activities in the area.

I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable stay in Paris. The combination of its prime location, beautiful rooms, and exceptional service make it a standout among other hotels in the area.
