Vom reveni.

We stayed at the Hotel des Mines at the end of April 2025. It was our first stop after traveling across the Atlantic with 2 young children, 3 and 5 years old, arriving first thing one morning. We chose the hotel given it’s proximity to the Luxembourg Gardens and the playground located within. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would absolutely stay there again. ||1. Rooms: We are a family of 4 and wanted a room that could accommodate all of us. The family room was perfect. A large bed for the parents and 2 twins for the kids. It was large enough to accommodate all of our travel luggage, as well (2 large suitcases, 2 umbrella strollers and 2 backpacks.|2. Metro: We flew into CDG around 830AM and took the metro in. There is a stop very close which made this the best option for us. It also makes it very easy to see the rest of the city quickly. |3. Proximity to Luxembourg Gardens: This park is amazing and has a playground (nominal fee) that our kids loved. There are also pony rides 2x’s a week. An attempt to overcome jetlag and keep two tiny humans occupied and cheerful with little sleep, staying close to this park was clutch. It allowed our very tired kids a really fun outdoor space to keep them up through early afternoon to align there clocks with Paris time. It worked beautifully. We visited every afternoon. |4. Friendly staff|5. Grocery store nextdoor. This was super helpful for snack /fruit purchasing daily. |6. Bonus: There was a refrigerator in our room. This was a surprise to us and one we were super thankful for. We kept it stocked with yogurt and fruit so ensure our little ones had healthy snacks at night if they were hungry. |We are happy to have found the hotel via many other reviews online. I would definitely recommend it to any solo traveler, couple or family.

Lovely room with wooden beams and a small veranda(502) very clean hotel with comfortable beds and in a beautiful area of Paris. Felt very safe walking at night and the public transport is plentiful with regular buses and trams taking you to all other areas. Breakfast was plentiful and tasty with lots of choice an lots of restaurant choices in the area. Short walk to the beautiful Luxembourg gardens. The true value of this hotel is the staff, housekeeping are wonderful and the reception staff go above and beyond to help. I would highly recommend a stay here

A bright airy foyer which also served as breakfast area. Our room was a decent size & we had requested a shower stall for preference & we got that. Tea & coffee making facilities, a safe & mini fridge. The bed was extremely comfortable. Breakfast choice was really good, salad bar & fresh fruit, yogurts, cereals & jars with dried fruits & nuts. Cold meats & cheeses, juices.|Most importantly, the entire staff were courteous & helpful. The hotel is a 20 minute walk from Notre Dame & Luxembourg station is a 5 minute walk away.|Highly recommend Hotel des Mines |Christina & Micheal, Dublin ????????

Ambiente tranquillo. L'hotel è in ottima posizione a 20 minuti a piedi da Notre Dame. Sorbona e Pantheon nelle vicinanze. In ogni caso sicuramente consigliato!

1) Location - quiet, even though it’s roughly in the 1/2 way between Pantheon and Luxembourg Gardens. There are great nearby restaurants/ cafes/ shops, all within 10 mins walk. Luxembourg station a few mins down Blvd, got the RER direct from airport then just walked a few mins up Blvd to hotel! Don’t overlook bus options-loads of routes v close, we got one to Pont de Concord for the Orangerie|2) Staff - friendly but efficient |3) Boutique feel|4) Big bed|5) Breakfast|6) Noon check-out|7) It was our wedding anniversary, and per my request, they arranged flowers and Prosecco to be in the room upon our arrival-thank you

Made reservations 6 months ahead for two rooms. One single, one double with two single beds. Close to each other would be something we should not have to verbalize when reserving two rooms. When we arrived we were given a single on the 4th floor and a handicap room on the first with a queen bed. The entire bathroom was also the shower so you could not go back in the bathroom without getting wet feet after a shower. There was a blow dryer, but you could not plug it in near the only mirror in the room - the one above the bathroom sink. Yes, that is the ONLY mirror. There is no ventilation in the room. You have to open the door or the window, either of which anyone could just walk through so by morning it was rather stuffy in the room. The breakfast buffet is 18 euro per person. There is no omelet station or eggs offered other than boiled hard, rubbery, over cooked, and some danish and pastry, juices and coffees. It is handy to Luxembourg station, a couple grocery stores and numerous small cafes. The room was clean, the nightstands are metal so extremely noisy to set your watch or a glass on at night, but it's better than nothing. The ants were fond of the room and the bed. The bed would have been comfortable for one person, not two, the pillows were nice and cushy. It was quiet at night and we did sleep somewhat well once we established our space on that bed.

I had a wonderful stay with my daughter at Hotel des Mines. The staff are so friendly and helpful. The breakfast was nice and always stocked. We had a small issue with our shower and were given an upgraded room right away. The superior room 502 was really great with beautiful beams and a little balcony. Loved it!

One of the best hotels I’ve ever stayed at, ran here as soon as I checked out to write this review. The staff were really friendly the guy at the reception was super nice and helpful about everything and there were just positive vibes all over the place. The location was good, I felt safe walking there as a woman at night and early in the morning. A lot of nice stores were in walkable distance and the bus stops were pretty close so thats a pro too. Rooms were really clean and the bathroom had a nice tub that was also pretty clean. The beds were amazing, I was surprised at how comfy they were, would definitely stay again in my next visit to Paris!

I stayed at Hotel Des Mines with a group of my high school students in February 2025 in a variety of room configurations (single, twin, triple, and quad). I cannot say enough positive things about all aspects of the experience! The first (and to me most important) thing was the superior communication and assistance from Pauline, the manager. When dealing with hotels, it's common for the experience to feel impersonal, but at every turn Pauline was exceptional in making our group feel welcome, from timely and clear communication leading up to our visit, to her flexibility in managing a group of our size when it came to breakfast service. The hotel itself was also PERFECT on many levels. The rooms were clean and modern (many with charming balconies), and the common areas clean and stylishly appointed. The location of the hotel is also ideal--it's a short (one block!) walk to the RER B station that runs directly to CDG airport, plus walking distance (10-15 minutes) to areas such as Rue Mouffetard, Luxembourg Gardens, the Pantheon, and Notre Dame Cathedral. Despite the proximity to such lively areas, the block where the hotel is located is quiet and wasn't as noisy at night as it is a short walk north towards Notre Dame. Everything about the experience was magnificent--strongly recommend!
