Location location location. Easy walk to most sites in Paris, or quick cab ride. Great food options within 2 blocks of the hotel.

Ahmed was amazing. Very helpful, and offered to secure a cab to the airport for our last day. The Cab drive was great. Ahmed also helped us with some other logistics and was very friendly.

The ladies handling breakfast did a great job, very friendly and good food.

Emma at the front desk was very friendly and helpful as well.

The amenities were scarce like laundry, drying rack, ironing board. Seemed like a few small items here could push the rating to a solid 5 stars, along with the other desk personnel being a bit more proactive and friendly.

Bed and low street noise level made sleeping very easy. Very relaxing place to stay.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ – Soggiorno perfetto nel cuore di Parigi

Ho soggiornato per una notte all’Europe San Severin Hotel durante un viaggio di lavoro e mi sono trovato molto bene. Emma, alla reception, è stata estremamente disponibile: siamo arrivati in anticipo (due camere per due persone) e ci ha subito trovato una stanza dove lasciare i bagagli. La seconda ci è stata consegnata la sera.

La camera era silenziosa, pulita e con un letto comodo. Il bagno era un po’ piccolo, ma avevo un grazioso balconcino. Il bagno del mio collega, invece, era più spazioso. La colazione era buona e assortita, perfetta per iniziare la giornata.

La posizione è ottima, a due passi da Notre-Dame e facilmente raggiungibile dall’aeroporto. Un hotel funzionale, accogliente e ben gestito. Ci tornerei senza dubbio.

didn't know anything about where to stay in Paris. This was a great choice for our family of 4 to stay in 1 room with enough space, as many European rooms are very small and barely have enough space for 2 people and their small suitcases. Great location near metro and Notre Dame. Many restaurant options close by. Would stay here again.

This is a lovely little hotel in the 5th Arrondissement of Paris. Lovely area. Full of Left Bank vibrancy. Our room was clean and functional and had a lovely balcony overlooking the street. There is some street noise. We loved hearing it but if you don’t like it, be prepared. Didn’t try the breakfast. Lots of other places nearby so can’t comment. Staff were very helpful.

This hotel is in a great location, near the Metro, Seine, and many places we enjoy. It's easy to find and is an old fashioned hotel experience. We had room with a small balcony that was nice as it was warm and sunny when we visited. The breakfast is fairly good with friendly staff. The price was a little high but probably warranted given the location.

L’insatisfaction concerne essentiellement la demie pension. 400€ par jour en demie pension mérite une prestation de qualité qui ne se limite pas à une carte réduite par vos soins à un choix entre pizza et pâtes et ce tous les soirs. Sans compter un menu tronqué entre entrée plat ou plat dessert.
Votre négociation avec le restaurant démontre que l’objectif principal est le profit au détriment de l’attention à porter au client.
De plus, la carte présentée sur internet ne correspond pas à celle que vous imposez.
Attendez vous à ce que l’avis sur booking n’incite pas d’autres clients à prendre la demie pension.

The front staff was polite but not friendly. I complained to them about a sewer gas smell coming from the shower. They told me some one would come to check it out. She simply poured some type of disinfectant down the drain that masked the smell for 8 hrs or so. They have a problem with the drain pipe connection likely related to the age of the building. Instead of treating me like a paying customer and offering to move us to another room, I was treated like a stupid American that doesn't know any better. Which makes sense I guess since I didn't complain about the room not matching the photos on Bookin.com. Anyway, we won't be back and it certainly reflected poorly on Paris as a whole, since they are in a large part it's representative.

Beautiful small hotel right in the middle of everything…. Great Pizza restaurant and good breakfast also friendly and helpful staff…. Rooms were nice and with a small balcony that overlooks the bustling walkways below. Very clean !!

Ik ben volledig bedrogen door dit hotel
Ik boekte een kamer met mooie foto’s , 2 weken geleden, aan vrij hoge prijs voor 450€/nacht. Aangekomen aan het hotel blijkt het hotel en de kamer van lage kwaliteit en niet de kamer die ik op de foto te zien kreeg.
Bovendien stond dezelfde kamer nu aan halve prijs? DIT KAN NIET. DIT IS BEDROG!!

We stayed here for 3 nights. It was totally fine—bed was comfortable, bathroom was clean, good water pressure and hot water in the shower. The location was very convenient to several metro lines and a short walk to Notre Dame cathedral. There was a lot of noise from nearby cafes late at night. The room was very small, and overall I think it was maybe a little expensive for the size of the room. Nevertheless, no real complaints.

Temiz, güler yüzlü be sıcak bir işletme. Tek eksik tarafı odalar inanılmaz küçük. Yatağın etrafında sadece 30cm lik boşluk vardı. Valizimizi yatağın üstünde açmak zorunda kaldık. Küçük valizle gidin.

Otherwise everything was fine, but I didn't receive the wine bottle I had asked for in pre-arrival survey before I asked it again in the reception. And the shaving utilities were not in the bathroom as was asked for.

I booked this based on some recommendations and for the location and staff it’s great. However it stops at that. The rooms are very small including the superior with balcony. The bathrooms are even smaller. We’ve been all over Europe for the past 30 years and this isn’t the smallest but for the cost…it’s not a place you should stay. Forget the breakfast that is included….some scrambled eggs, bad coffee, little containers of fruit out of a can, yogurt was commercial brand and the pastries (what options were available 2) were okay. Walk out of the hotel and to the right across the street there is a great French breakfast option. Lastly, we came during a rather warm week for May….AC was needed to sleep and the room got very warm during the day. Although we would have the air on, when we returned it was off. I complained and the front counter person went to a panel and turned it on. I think the hotel turns off the AC at night while most are sleeping….we had to get up every few hrs and turn it back on. I complained and it stopped happening so I know it’s the AC system. You can look at all of my previous ratings…I don’t expect 3-4 star advertised hotel to be the Paris Ritz but I’ve been to many 3-4 star hotels in Paris that are so much better. Again…the location and staff are fantastic….the hotel not so much.

Location of the hotel is good. Access to the Metro and tons of places to eat. My room was clean and a roomy for me. I will say the staff could have been more hospitable and friendlier. I experienced a couple of issues and the woman at the front desk that checked me in talked bad about me to her colleague that I had no interaction with yet. From that moment he was not pleasant to me throughout my stay. I won’t be staying here again next time I come to Paris there’s better options. I will also say if you like to sleep throughout the night , this is not the hotel for you. Very noisy late nights and early mornings. Construction, loud dumpster trucks, etc. There was not a day I got what I consider “good” sleep.

We stayed at Hôtel Europe Saint-Séverin couple of weeks before the Olympics. It was our first trip to Paris, and this wonderful little hotel was perfect. Our trip was off to a rocky start with hours-long train delays from Switzerland, rush-hour traffic and (at that hour) roadwork which caused the taxi drive to drop us off practically in the middle of Boulevard Saint Michel vs the side street in front of the hotel. It left us realizing that a bag had been left in the taxi… and so had my son’s iphone that slipped out of his pocket. – I promise we normally aren’t a show like this. – The staff were great getting us checked in. The bag had my sons contacts, his sleep mask, iPad, … everything. It’s loss would have been hard to replace. The front desk staff took my receipt from the taxi driver, and viola’~ three hours later we had both bag & phone. A miracle in our eyes. The loft style room with pullout couch we had was French, and quirky and perfect. (Larger than rooms is NYC hotels, but probably smaller than many U.S. tourists are used to. ) In the morning, there is a continental breakfast with a wonderfully responsive staff asking you if you would like a cappuccino ( then just bringing one to you on days 2 and 3…). The coffee cake tasted better than homemade and there was plenty for our picky eaters to choose. We loved the location where this hotel is. It’s a few minute walk to seemingly everything. We took the boat to the Eiffel Tower, but we walked to the Louvre, Pantheon, and lots of shops and restaurants. We’d stay here again in a hot second. It’s not a huge hotel, but the right sized boutique one you need in Paris.

Very old and worn out hotel. Noisy noisy noisy. Convenient to Notre Dame. Staff was very friendly. Breakfast was ok. Area around hotel was lively with many restaurants and cafes. Don’t stay here if you have any mobility issues. |Good for price, though. Considering you are in Paris!

Notre choix de passer 4 nuits ici était excellent. Emplacement très central, à l'entrée du quartier latin de Paris et très bien relié à tout, de Disneyland Paris à Versailles en passant par les aéroports. Depuis Charles de Gaulle, on peut s'y rendre directement par le RER B. La chambre était très grande et très propre. Il y a eu un petit problème avec le mélangeur dans le lavabo de la salle de bain, qui ne donnait presque pas d'eau froide, mais je pense que nous pouvons passer outre ce petit inconvénient, car l'expérience a été positive dans l'ensemble.

Le prix était un peu trompeur quand je l'ai réservé. Je pensais qu'il s'agissait d'un prix total, mais en fait, il ne comprenait que la première nuit. La chambre a un mur extrêmement fin. Je peux même dire que le couple à côté de moi était allemand en entendant leur voix. La chambre est petite et on y a mis beaucoup de choses inutiles comme deux bouteilles de vin. La réception n'était là que pour remettre les clés, rien de plus. Une fois passé 9 heures du matin, ils ont commencé à nettoyer et vous avez l'impression de vivre dans un chantier de construction. Le côté positif est le transport, la proximité de tout, le quartier vivant. Si vous aimez vivre dans un hôtel moderne, vous devriez y réfléchir à deux fois.

L'emplacement de cet hôtel ne pourrait pas être meilleur, proche de la plupart des choses et de quelques restaurants et cafés étonnants. Nous avions une chambre triple exécutive, mais elle n'était pas du tout assez grande pour 3 adultes. Les lits étaient extrêmement inconfortables et nous ont donné mal au dos.
