L'accueil est particulièrement chaleureux, tout au long du repas, le service très efficace et aimable, c'est vraiment le grand plus de ce restaurant. Merci pour cela. Les apéritifs étaient bons, la note bretonne agréable et originale (cela nous avait attirés). Le problème est qu'avec une carte courte ( ce qu'il faut pour être crédible dans un restaurant de petite taille, donc rien à leur reprocher sur ce point), il faut que les produits soient parfaits, au moins sûrs. Mon mari et notre invité ont pris des onglets de boeuf (recommandés), les cuissons (qui auraient dû être différentes, l'un bleu, l'autre à point) n'étaient pas respectées et surtout l'un des plats, en deux morceaux, dont l'un assez dur, trop cuit, et bien trop filandreux et nerveux, même pour un onglet, n'aurait pas dû être servi. Les autres plats étaient OK, sympathiques. Beaucoup de touristes anglophones.

My wife and I enjoyed 3 wonderful dinners at this restaurant on our 10 day trip to Paris. It was easily our favorite restaurant and was the only place we visited multiple times. The food was excellent! Both quality and quantity of food were exceptional especially given the reasonable price. The standout part of the experience though was the service. Cassandra and Hugo were really excellent servers who made us feel like family. My favorite dishes were the razor clam entree, the beef tartar plat, and the crème brûlée desert. This place is an absolute gem and I hope I get to come again someday!

Such a fun spot for a bite and drinks. Delicious food, emphasis on Bretonne-style cooking. Razor clams with garlic butter were amazing. Pork chop cooked to perfection. Staff and diners were incredibly lively, music was great.

Wir haben kurzfristig gebucht und waren positiv überrascht. Sehr nette Bedienung die unsere Wünsche erfüllen konnte. Das Essen war gut bis sehr gut und sehr nett angerichtet. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und würde das Restaurant jederzeit weiter empfehlen.

We had a fantastic lunch at La Pie Noir! The food was absolutely delicious – the steak was perfectly cooked and full of flavor, the kids loved the ravioles, the salmon was beautifully done, and the pistachio crème brûlée was out of this world. The wine recommendations were spot on and really elevated the meal.
Service was warm, attentive, and professional from start to finish. A true gem – we’ll definitely be coming back on our next trip!

We have been coming to La Pie Noir at least once a year for the last 5 years. (Bear in mind, we are not Parisians or even French). This is our favorite restaurant in Paris. You can get great food throughout the city, but what really stands out here is the staff. We always end up with wonderful food, but also wonderful memories. Everything on the menu is delicious, with the fois gras and ravioli appetizers as particular favorites. The pork chop is great, as is the duck breast and steak tartare. We love the restaurant and will 100% be back any time we visit Paris.

I've never written a review, and my wife hasn't written one since Dawson's Creek released its season 2 soundtrack, but we feel it's our culinary duty, maybe even our social responsibility, to sing the praises of La Pie Noir. The food is delicious and reasonably priced. You can get a starter, main, and dessert for 39 euros. And, guaranteed, you'll make a new friend. The staff is tremendous --- cool and funny in a way that makes you want to order another drink just to chat. Check this place out!
