Sublime exposition avec repas ensuite, tout était parfait.

Museo molto bello, curato e con un allestimento impeccabile. Perfetto per scoprire la storia e lo stile di uno stilista unico! Carinissima la vetrata che dà sullo studio di Alaïa, bello anche il café nel cortile interno. L'unica pecca, prezzo un po' alto se comparato all'offerta.

La fondation Azzedine est un lieu incroyable et je ne cesse d’être émerveillée à chaque fois que j’y vais par la beauté des tenues et de la mise en scène !

Not big museum with clothes collection by famous modeller.

This is the perfect space for enjoying unique fashion exhibitions: elegant, intimate and inspiring. Alaïa's atelier on the first floor is undoubtedly one of the main attractions. It has been preserved exactly as it was after his death and offers visitors an unparalleled insight into the designer's creative universe.

The bookshop is well stocked with carefully selected books on fashion and photography. The foundation also boasts a terrace, ideal for a drink in the summer, where you can enjoy the peace and quiet and the sunshine. It is the perfect place to relax after a visit.

A exposição é bem pequena. As peças são bonitas e o ateliê é interessante.

Espacio que creó el modisto tunecino en el barrio en el que vivió durante años, Le Marais, para albergar sus propias colecciones de historia de la moda, arte y diseño. Dada la magnitud de su colección, y siendo el local pequeño, se van mostrando en exposiciones temporales algunas de esas piezas, en el caso de nuestra visita se trataba de la colaboración entre el tunecino y el diseñador Thierry Mugler.

Loved the exhibition. I got to know Alaïa as a person - feeling like a friend. He seemed so easy to get along with, very open minded about new ideas, funny and sometimes just don’t care. His studio is messy but is completely my style too!! In another universe maybe we’ll be friends ????????

Très bel endroit. Nous sommes venus pour l'exposition Azzedine Alaia / Thierry Mugler : magnifique, présentation de pièces iconiques des deux créateurs. À ne pas manquer.

Je recommande vivement de faire un tour au café/restaurant ainsi qu'à la librairie !

Excelente opción para visitar esta fundación si te gusta la moda y tenes pensado pasear por Le Marais en Paris. Visite la muestra de Thierry Mugler y fue fantástico. El recorrido es corto pero impactante, ya que se ven los diseños sin vidrios y se puede apreciar los textiles y los modelos. Es Maravilloso. En la fundación hay una bella terraza para disfrutar en verano y una tienda con libros fantásticos de moda.

Endroit charmant ! Belle exposition bien pensée

Très joli lieu d’exposition chargé de l’histoire du créateur de mode Azzedine Alaïa qui en avait fait un lieu de vie et de création. Très touchant de découvrir son atelier laissé intact depuis sa mort.

Racist and snobby!!

I went to see AZZEDINE ALAIA, THIERRY MUGLER show this morning, with a ticket I reserved online in advance. When I arrived, there was a group waiting to buy tickets so it took quite some time. While waiting, there is a white couple arrived and cut the line to ask the gentleman who sells the tickets to scan their QR code, because they also bought tickets online and it took 5 seconds to scan their tickets. I witnessed people arrived few minutes after me has gone in, so I tried to have the gentleman to scan my ticket too. He then asked me to wait. I feel hurt and wondering if it’s because my Asian skin or if I didn’t dress like a rich man.

The worst thing happened when I finished the visit and got out of the fondation.
Three people run out and calling me «sir », including the director of the fondation. They asked me if I have already been to the fondation. I said yes, because I have seen another show long time ago ( there wasn’t the bookstore neither the restaurant at that time at least one or two years ). Then they said, « We just want to let you know that there are cameras everywhere in the fondation. So all the actions inside will be filmed. » I thought they have filmed me and would asked me to signe « portrait licensing consent », because they might use the images of me in the future. I told them « it’s fine with me ». Yet they didn’t ask me to sign anything but told me again with a very strong tone « if you ever come back, please be reminded that there are cameras everywhere. » I said ok then they left.
I thought it over, it’s too strange these three people just did to me. Did I do anything wrong ?!
I went in to the fondation again, found one of the three. She said someone stole a catalog during the previous exhibition, and from the image of their camera, they believed it’s me!!
I was so humiliated and angry and asked to see the video. She said I don’t have the right to see it. I then asked her to go seeing the video again and then come back to tell me if it’s me. She said that it was 6 months ago and the video is no longer exist. So I don’t have their image to prove it’s not me. 6 months ago I was in Taiwan!!! And last time I visited the fondation was in 2018 !

The lady who warned me about camera everywhere is their director!

Do they print out the picture of the thief and put it next to their computer, and tell the same thing to every Asian man visiting the fondation? Do they have the right to do so??

They accused people without any evidence. Not all Asian look alike!! And they don’t care how people care about their honor.

They didn’t really apologize properly after my explanation. Maybe they still believe it was me who took their catalogue. But will they stop doing this to other Asian men?

I then left with humiliation because I have other appointments not to be missed, and with a lot of anger that grows even more afterwards.

The exhibition is good though. But the experience of my visit is so bad that I’m still trembling due to the anger while writing this.

I feel really really bad to have been to this place. And I’m sure many years later, I will still remember I was humiliated here.

Interessante conosce la storia di Alaïa, stilista creativo e rigoroso.
Ritengo costoso il biglietto vista la dimensione della mostra. Sempre gradevole consumare un caffè nel patio della fondazione.

Un lieu unique et des expositions toujours de qualité qui retracent le travail du couturier

C'est la dernière adresse du grand couturier. Cette maison a gardé son âme. Du studio de création au restaurant, il est là...en toute simplicité, comme s'il pouvait débarquer pour verifier les moindres details.

Sympathique, l’exposition est petite mais très classe. L’atelier qu’il est possible de voir depuis une vitre est impressionnant car laissé en l’état.

Je ne connaissais pas le lieu jusqu’à venir pour une expo. L’endroit est superbe, spacieux, calme en plein midi et le café / librairie offre une vraie bulle. Une super découverte.

Très beau dialogue entre les créations de Madame Ģrès et celles d'Azzedine Alaïa. C'est fantastique de pouvoir être aussi proche des pièces exposées. La vue sur l'atelier figé dans le temps et pourtant tellement vivant est un must.
