Avis HÔTEL CASTEX Paris

O quarto no site era bem maior. Chegamos e encontramos um quarto e banheiro minúsculos. A melhor coisa do hotel é a localização: excelente. Em frente ao hotel um ótimo restaurante tailandês e cambojano. Pertinho, Île de la Citè et Ile de France. Fomos do hotel ao Quai d'Orsay, onde fica o famoso museu, beirando o Rio Sena, apreciando a beleza de Paris.

Cet hôtel est une honte. Je vous explique notre arrivée. Un mr au cheveux attachés d'âge d'une cinquantaine d'années était à la réception nous dit que le cheking et à 14h30 hors sur booking.com c'est à 14h bref je m'installe sur une chaise à l'accueil et jattend 14h30 sans rien dire. Ce Mr mange sur son burreau avec des bruits de bouche bien fort, des rires, un langage familier sur une vidéo qu'il regardait sur son pc. Il faisait comme si je n'etais pas là... une fois l'heure arrivé il me demande simplement mon nom : ok chambres X, deuxième étage. Aucune marque de politesse.
Une fois dans la chambre. C'est vétuste mais surtout sale.
Les murs sont sales, beaucoup de poussière, une literie déchirée, un rideau de douche alors que c'est interdit niveau hygiène et sécurité. Une odeur de moisissure qui venait de l'évacuation de la salle de bain qui en était pleine. Je vous mets en photos.
La dame de chambre aussi désagréable. Le deuxième jours je la croise et elle fait tomber un oreiller de son chariot je m'abaise pour lui donner et elle me l'arrache des mains. Je n'ai pas compris la réaction, j'étais surprise.
Au prix de la nuit, nous ne reviendrons plus dans cet établissement et je vous conseille de faire de même. C'est vraiment une honte! Au lieu de proposer une bouteille de vin rouge avec des verres tachés à vos clients comme cadeaux, soyez plutôt poli ou que la chambre soit propre. C'est le premier hôtel qui m'a proposé un standing aussi bas alors que j'ai déjà fait des petits hôtels à 40€ la nuit.
Ps : l'employé aux lunettes était le seul qui était agréable.

Ce petit hôtel a mal évolué . Dommage il est bien situé pour nous mais les chambres non seulement sont de plus en plus négligées ( les tailles varient, certaines sur la rue sont mieux : grandes et claires mais sales et vieillissantes) ; l’accueil est devenu franchement minable . Aucun professionnalisme . 3 étoiles ? Honteux pour un hôtel sale et sans services . Petite pièce où le déjeuner ( infect ) est servi donne sur une courette . Cet hôtel avait des atouts mais c’est fini . Disgusting place now .

Fiz intercâmbio há treze anos e vivi em Dijon, na França. Sou brasileiro e, naquela época, falava francês fluentemente. Após tantos anos sem praticar, perdi parte da fluência. Ao chegar ao hotel com minha esposa, fomos muito bem recepcionados pelo Sr. Eskander, que teve paciência e gentileza ao perceber meu esforço em falar francês, ajudando sempre com simpatia.

Chegamos antes do horário do check-in, deixamos as malas e saímos. Próximo ao hotel, na rua Saint-Antoine, há o restaurante Le Rempart Bastille, onde tomamos um ótimo café da manhã com suco, chocolate quente, croissant e frutas por 10 euros. A região tem padarias, restaurantes, mercados e fica perto do metrô Bastille, o que facilita os passeios.

Se estiver disposto a caminhar, é possível ir a pé até a Catedral de Notre-Dame (1,6 km) e depois ao Museu do Louvre (mais 1,4 km). A senhora do café da manhã foi simpática e atenciosa. Foi o melhor café da manhã que tive em hotéis de Paris — simples, mas acima da média.

Recomendo muito este hotel: quarto espaçoso, cama confortável, toalhas boas, excelente localização, boa estrutura e ótimo atendimento.

Alguns franceses sao antipáticos. Hotel se mantem bem no seculo retrasado, pra quem gosta...

No hotel is cheap in Paris but Castex Hotel was reasonably priced and is located in an extremely good position. It's right next to Bastille Metro, just 1 stop from Gare de Lyon and BVD Henri IV runs directly thru to Ile St Louis, an easy 15 minutes stroll. The concierge was extremely helpful and very friendly and the breakfast was both extensive and delicious. I'd stay there again tomorrow!

We absolutely loved Hotel Castex. It's close to 2 different metro stops and at least 1 bus stop for easy getting around. There are a bunch of food places close by as well. The staff was wonderful and very friendly. The room was neat and had a lot of character.

I stayed at this hotel recently and was pleasantly surprised by the young man at the night reception. Very professional, helpful, and genuinely kind, he made my arrival and stay much more enjoyable. He was quick to respond to my requests with a smile and provided useful information. You can tell he takes his job seriously, and that makes all the difference. If you happen to meet him, you can be sure your experience will be much more pleasant. A real asset to this hotel!

I would not recommend staying here. The room was so tiny I had to walk sideways to get to the other side of the bed. There were black scrape marks on the wall where people had dragged their luggage to get past the bed. The bathroom was ancient and the shower head was coming out. The amenities were spartan. The complementary breakfast was regrettable. After viewing it we ate elsewhere. The air conditioning was not cool enough for the August heat. The location was very good.|Rick Steves was way off on this one.

Mauvaise experience. Accueill = 0, endroit très sale, jamais plus dans la vie! Petit déjeuner horrible, pas de check in et les photos ne correspondent pas à la realitè. Les personnels mechante , très chere par rapport à l'endroit, je deconseille cet hotel. Horrible

I recently stayed at Hôtel Castex, and I must say it exceeded all my expectations. From the moment I arrived, the staff was warm, welcoming, and attentive, ensuring every detail of my stay was taken care of.

The room was immaculate and very comfortable.

Location-wise, the hotel is perfectly situated, close to key attractions yet tucked away enough to provide a peaceful retreat.

!!Ne restez pas ici !!Je soupçonne que les commentaires qui parlent en bien de cet hôtel sont faux, je vous assure que rien ne pourrait être plus éloigné de la vérité j'ai été gâté 130 euros et j'ai dû aller dans un autre hôtel pour passer la nuit. sans rien récupérer de mon argent. Les chambres sont extrêmement bruyantes, s'il vous plaît, j'espère que nous ne rencontrerons pas de groupes familiaux là où nous passons devant nos maisons ! lu mon commentaire et notre expérience dans cet hôtel, nous étions dans cet hôtel, le traitement que nous avons reçu de la part de l'homme à la réception était TERRIBLE ! C'était désagréable, arrogant et arrogant, nous avons été très déçus et à part ce service médiocre, la chambre triple vous est donnée dans un patio à côté des moteurs !! Comment se fait-il qu'ils vous réservent une chambre à côté de ces machines, cela s'entend dans tout l'espace, nous avons payé à l'avance et nous n'avons pas eu à partir une demi-heure pour chercher un autre hôtel car nous ne pouvions pas soyez là, j'espère que le directeur arrangera ça car nous avons dépensé de l'argent pour rien ! La seule bonne chose dans cet hôtel c'est qu'à notre départ (le réceptionniste en queue de cheval n'était plus là, Dieu merci...) mais un autre gars qui était très sympathique. et agréable qui voulait aider autant qu'il le pouvait, mais bien sûr ce qu'il allait faire si la chambre n'était pas correcte pour passer la nuit avec les moteurs des machines. Quoi qu'il en soit, j'espère qu'ils me rendront au moins une partie de mon argent et sinon, mon avis reste pour que d'autres familles ne leur arrivent pas la même chose

Terrible receptionist that was less than hospitable and extremely unfriendly and accommodating. Room was the size of a closet. We spent 2 weeks in France and this was the worst place we stayed. We were supposed to stay there again on our return to Paris to catch out flight and canceled it. They refused us a different pillow and were very disrespectful. Do not stay here. There are so many more delightful places. I found this in the Travel France book.

We’re on our way to the airport and I’m still shaking. I’ve travelled extensively for 40 years and I’ve never had such a terrible experience. Upon checkout my family was loading into a taxi and I was trying to locate our two key cards to bring them to the front desk and the front desk agent comes storming out to the street and repeatedly shouts at me ‘front desk first, taxi SECOND!!!’ And refuses to understand that I am searching the belongings already placed in the taxi to find the key card he wanted. When I couldn’t find it within our stuff I went back up to the room, located and brought it back to the front desk. I dropped them both and proceeded to walk out to the taxi, I’m seated inside and he comes running out again shouting about how he is not my boyfriend, not my brother and I cannot treat him like this. I literally said nothing to him. Not single word when I dropped the keys on the desk. But now dear reader, I fully admit I saw red. This man was a complete bully, shouting at me at 6 in the morning simply because I didn’t perform check out in the order he most preferred? I had my 78 year old mother with me and my daughter and son, my daughter was now sobbing at how we were being shouted at. I stood back up and yelled right back that I was not HIS daughter, his sister and HE could not speak to me like that. He THEN decides there is a city tax I haven’t paid and he is calling the police because I am refusing to pay it. I asked how much it was. This was the first anyone was hearing of it, no one was trying to leave without paying something. He said he would not tell me unless I returned to the lobby. A small small man on his little power trip had to exert whatever shred of control he could over the situation. Would you go back inside, a woman on your own, with an irate man shouting in a language you don’t speak? Finally the taxi driver agreed to accompany me and it was $16. I put down a $20 and left. I’ve never had so much as a disagreement with an employee of a hotel or restaurant before never mind a shouting match. It couldn’t have been less appropriate or less called for. I’m appalled.

Excelente ubicación, Hotel sencillo pero muy bonito y agradable. El personal es muy atento y educado. Habitaciones limpias y cómodas. Volvería mil veces.

Step above a hostel. Dirty bathrooms, cramped rooms. Location is nice though.

Lo único bueno es la ubicación. Comenzando por la habitación (pequeña pero es lo normal para París) no tiene nada que ver con las de las fotos de la web, la cama es incómoda y necesita un colchón nuevo, el que tenía se veía a primera vista que estaba hundido en el medio a causa del uso, el cubre somier estaba manchado, el motor de ventilación del baño hace ruido por las noches, la puerta del baño no ciera, la decoración ajada y alguna hasta rota, la wifi no funcionaba, el recepcionista de día poco amable (más interesado en venderte un Transfer al aeropuerto que en ayudarte o darte información) En absoluto comparable con un tres estrellas español, para nada. Evitar si tienes posibilidad.
