The location was fantastic. Steps from all that the marais offers and the up escalator at the St. Paul metro stop. The staff was very kind and helpful. One star taken off for what I felt like was some carelessness about the condition of creature comforts. The bed was comfortable and having a fridge and coffee and tea making equipment in the room was great—but the carpet was overdue for replacing and the towels were, honestly, an embarrassment. Not only were they threadbare, but the endseams were so frayed that threads were hanging off. I mean how much do new towels cost? The supplies were minimal— one hand towel, one bath towel, two packets of sugar, no creamer— I think that bigger rooms got robes and slippers and I probably could have asked and gotten more with a smile. My point is that a small investment in not expensive touches would elevate the feel of the property. The WiFi was excellent. I did not try the breakfast

Staying at this hotel was the best decision I could have made. The hotel is very well located, close to the main attractions, as there is a subway station right across the street. The facilities are in excellent condition. And best of all, the staff is very friendly and helpful.

This hotel is perfect. We stay here every time we visit Paris.

The location speaks for itself .. you're in the Marais, 20m from the Metro, and you can walk to almost everything.

The rooms are lovely, filled with French charm.

The service, though, is what sets this hotel apart. The staff are friendly, and eager to help ensure your visit is perfect. You can tell that they love their hotel.

We won't consider another hotel so long as we can get a room here.

Note: the elevator is absolutely Parisian.. if two people get in, they beat be very close. The stairs are challenging .. narrow, winding, with steep and often narrow steps. This is not a hotel for today with mobility issues, I'm afraid.

All in all, the stay was very enjoyable.||Great location!||Wonderful, friendly, helpful staff!||The bed in the single room I was in at 1st was very short. I requested a larger room & was given one with a double bed. It was very nice & the bed was OK, but no armchair or sofa to sit in, and no shelves or drawers to unpack my suitcase. I told the staff, & hope these 2 problems will be fixed.||Both rooms were pleasant and quiet, even though overlooking the lively street.||Again, I must day that the overall experience was good, & I will probably come again :-)

||Staying at this hotel felt like stepping into a different century — a true journey back in time. The building and interior design are steeped in authentic Parisian charm, evoking the elegance of the 16th century. I genuinely felt like royalty, surrounded by beauty, history, and refinement.||||The service was flawless, the comfort and luxury beyond expectations, and the location — in the heart of the Marais — simply unbeatable. Every detail speaks of good taste and impeccable care.||||I will most certainly return to relive this extraordinary experience. A hidden treasure I’ll keep coming back to.||

The staff made this hotel the best! Would go back. Rooms are smaller but expected and you don’t spend much time in your room anyways.

L'hôtel est très bien situé et l'acceuil excellent. Afin d'amliorer la qualité et le potentiel de cet hôtel, les chambres nécessiteraient toutefois d'être raffraichies.

Dont let the rather small entrance to this lovely little hotel scare you off. It’s in a wonderful walking and shopping area near many major attractions. The front staff are excellent and attentive and gave me a lot of helpful recommendations. One warning, as a historic hotel if you stay on the 5th floor you must access by a rounded staircase as the elevator does not got to the 5th floor but i loved my 5th floor room with a little balcony , lovely shower and nice bed and linens.

the hotel was easy to find but uber cannot come to the front door but it is close at the corner. the bed was comfortable. totally sound proof room. nice hot shower with great water pressure. the single room could be designed better. a few things should be removed since they are fluff and the room is so tiny already. staff was super friendly and helpful. a very sweet little hotel with a very small lounge area. will stay again but ask for a bigger room. best location ever for me. right in front of the 1 metro.

This was my first trip to Paris and I am a 60-something solo traveler. When I first arrived I wasn't sure what to expect, a hotel nestled between two bistros next to a tobac. It was absolutely lovely and the staff were amazing, kind, warm, friendly and helpful. There is absolutely no reason to stay at a large hotel when Hotel le Temple de Jeanne is in Le Marais. Yes the room I had was tiny and it was a bit of a trek to get to it. But that added to the charm. When I return to Paris--and I will--I will most definitely stay here again. As a solo woman, I felt safe returning late after an evening out and I felt safe in my room. Safer than I have felt in larger hotels in equally big cities.

I love this hotel, the single room i stayed in was so cute. The location is great, it’s between the 3rd and the 4th arr. close to most things a tourist would want to see and do.

Thanks to Moses, and all the staff there, they definitely made my stay super comfortable.

Seriously conflicted, should I write a review and risk never being able to book there again or does a great hotel and its staff deserve recognition and to thrive ? Here's the answer, great experience. It's the little touches like putting your checked luggage into your room in time for your return in the evening. A friendly 'bonjour'. It adds up. OK the room was a single and definitely small but perfectly formed. Not dissimilar to many other Paris hotels. Location on top of the Metro in Le Marais can't be beaten. The area is busy but nothing like the tourist zoo that is the Left Bank. Will be back.

My daughter stayed at the hotel, and we couldn't be happier with the overall outfit, comfort, cleanlyness and quality of service - shout-outs to Lorys and the night reception who even prepared a little treat for her, to celebrate her birthday on April 8th - thanks so much !

This is the most gorgeous, romantic, and sexy hotel. Bring your lover, find your lover, or BE your lover and bring them here!!! The best things in life are shared! While my wife couldn’t come this time, I had a really special time in Paris thanks to the wonderful staff at this hotel, and I only stayed one night after my flight was delayed, but it made such an impression on me! It’s situated just steps away from the Saint-Paul metro and located in a bustling, yet safe, neighborhood. From the moment I walked in I was intoxicated by the delicate and sensual scent of Fragonard. The people at the reception desk were so welcoming and spoke English, too. I stayed in the suite, which was absolutely gorgeous with a romantic clawfoot bathtub! Je me gâte ici ! Open the windows and admire la beauté de la ville qui bouge down below. I’ve truly never understood Quasimodo more than now. Outside you have a wealth of boutique shopping, pharmacies and grocery stores at your disposal, yet while inside the hotel, it’s quiet. The only down side I can think of is that because the building was constructed so long ago, it was not built with wheelchair accessibility in mind, so unfortunately it would not be possible to visit for those with reduced mobility. If you’re coming from the US, or don’t live in a dense city, look quite hard to find the small, unassuming doorway in between the awnings of cafés to see the bright orange sign of this hotel marked by its name. Magic happens in Paris and it starts at Le Temple de Jeanne. 10/10 will return. With much gratitude, Gros bisous, Shaina ❤️❤️❤️

traveling solo, stayed 2 nights at this very cute boutique hotel in a small historical building near rue Rivoli in le Marais.
Lorys and his colleagues are the ultimate hosts …giving personalized service in a super-friendly fashion:)
Walking distance from everything that matters in Paris…
I shall be back!

I stayed five nights here. the location is perfect - the St. Paul Metro stop is out front of the door and there are many buses to take you wherever you want to go.

Everything you need - Pharmacie, chocolates, charcuterie, patisserie - are within a short walk out the door.

Loved the staff! They were very helpful, friendly, kind, and fun. Alex, Moses, Carolina, and all the team were wonderful.

the breakfast every day was fantastic.

Honestly, I can't think of one thing that was missing from my experience. Would absolutely stay here again.

Cosy boutique hotel with an excellent location (just in front of Saint Pauls M).
Newly renovated, but quite small rooms (Parisian standard).
The beds were brand new and very comfortable.
Varied and delicious breakfast, well worth the additional cost.
Service minded and friendly staff. Will definitely return on my next stay in Paris!
