Everyone was so very helpful! The family room was perfect for our family of 5.. the pictures don’t do it justice. No elevator, as stated, but if you are good with stairs, it is the perfect central spot to see all of Paris!! I will be back!

Staff:
The staff were very friendly and accommodating. They helped us with our bags and answered all of our questions, which we really appreciated.

Hotel:
Be aware that there is no elevator in this hotel. Upon entry, you’ll need to walk up about 1–1.5 flights of stairs just to reach the reception area. From there, you’ll climb additional stairs to get to your room. For example, if you’re staying on the 2nd floor, you’re actually climbing about 3 full flights. The staircase is very narrow, only wide enough for one person at a time, which made passing others difficult. Unfortunately, I even fell while trying to squeeze past someone. While the staff did help with some of our bags, we had multiple pieces of luggage and had to carry several ourselves, which was challenging. The stair carpeting was also quite dusty and clearly hadn’t been thoroughly cleaned in a long time.

Room:
The room was moderately clean, but it was evident that only surface-level cleaning is done. We found used water bottles in the bathroom cabinet and shredded toilet paper under the sink. It was also quite dusty. The room itself was small, which is common in Paris, but the layout made it worse. We stayed in the room with two large pillars, DO NOT book this room. The pillars may look charming in photos, but they made the space nearly unusable. We had to constantly duck and squeeze around them just to move. It was a very poor design and not worth the cost. If you decide to stay here, I strongly recommend choosing any room except the one with the two pillars.

Location:
The location is fantastic! Very walkable and just a short Uber ride to most major attractions. However, it’s situated on a busy street known for its nightlife (sports bars, late-night tapas, etc.), so it gets quite loud at night. This wasn’t an issue for us since we’re heavy sleepers, but light sleepers may want to consider this before booking.

Value for Price:
I personally don’t believe that this was the best hotel that I could have stayed in for the priced that I paid. I believe that there could have been other better hotels. Just something to consider.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Hôtel Le Presbytère in Paris, and it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. The rooms are a perfect blend of historic charm and modern comfort. We loved the exposed beams and stone walls. The staff were amazing at checkin, they even carried our bags upstairs for us which was a huge help. I highly recommend this charming hotel for anyone staying in Paris.

Right in the middle of Le Marais, historic building. We received an upgrade to the suite right at the top floor, which is a lovely room and quite large with two bathrooms. Breakfast is served in the room. The staff and the manager are very friendly. The one thing missing, perhaps, is the elevator but in such a historic building that’s logical.

We absolutely loved it here! The staff was amazing and so courteous. The room was beautiful, clean, and historic - we were able to open up our windows and take in the sights and sounds from the streets below (and the soundproofing on the rooms was great, too. No problems with city noise keeping us from sleeping.) It’s also in a perfect location for plenty of dining, and within walking distance of the Notre Dame and Louvre. Train station is nearby, too! A must stay near the 4th and 11th if you visit Paris! (AND breakfast in the room was delicious and a great way to start the day!)

Completely enjoyed our stay. Staff was friendly, helpful and so kind.
Room was absolutely perfect and exactly what we hoped for.
Location is central to so many cafes, shopping and a short walk to many must see sights.

Note- there are no elevators in this hotel- it is a flight of windy stairs to get to the lobby. Staff helped with bags to our rooms. We were aware of this prior to booking. Added to the character of the stay.

Beautiful, renovated room, great service, great location. The neighborhood is bustling. Only complaint was some noise from partygoers on the street below, but the room's soundproofing helped.

Wonderful 2 night stay at Le Presbytere! Each clerk was extremely helpful and friendly. The room was very modern and we were able to sleep quite well. No need for earplugs. The other guests were either very considerate, or noise doesn't travel far through the rooms. The windows facing the street were of very high quality as the sounds from the busy street were unnoticeable from the room. The HVAC works incredibly well, so if you enjoy a cooler room while you sleep, they've got you covered! Thank you for the nice stay for our first time in Paris!

Excellent experience overall. Room was great. Just like the pictures on the website. Wonderful staff. Very friendly and helpful. Great location. Very convenient to all the sights. Just so you know, like many hotels in Paris, there aren't any elevators. So if you have mobility issues, then ask for a lower floor. Highly recommend.

We absolutely adored our time at Hotel Le Presbytere! For our trip we needed a room for 5, which is already difficult and especially so in Paris. I picked several options around the city and used Google maps to check out the street view of each. I went with Le Presbytere because it was located on a street with many restaurants and shops. Once we checked in, I could not have been more pleased with my choice. I love how the hotel resides in an old church. My tween daughter said she couldn’t wait to tell her friend that we were “basically staying in a UNESCO world heritage site.” We got the top floor suite, which had so much character. I loved how immersive the environment felt. Most hotels look very generic, cold and corporate, and when you’re there you feel like you could be anywhere. Whenever we were in our room I never felt away from Paris—it was both grand yet cozy. There were beautiful touches, coffee and basic supplies in the room, and whatever you needed just steps away in either the office (24 hr service) or in one of the many pharmacies just steps from the front door. The office staff (usually Jeremy) was friendly and helpful. I would happily stay again.

Just a heads up: there are no elevators, just a narrow and winding staircase. For me, this was a plus—I love getting my steps in on vacation—but for anyone with health or mobility issues, this would be a challenge.

I have nothing negative to say about this hotel. It is beautiful, well equipped, the lobby constantly smelled of coffee and chocolate and pastries…the staff are friendly, the rooms are cosy, the location is walkable to many major attractions and multiple train and bus stations. I cannot recommend Hotel Le Presbytere enough!
