We just checked out from a 9 night stay at the Hotel Caron de Beaumarchais. We had the MOST wonderful holiday in Paris. There are already 598 five star reviews for this hotel, and I am going to add one more. Everything about this hotel was PERFECT for our needs: the location, the staff, the wonderful breakfast. Many reviews mention small room sizes - but our room was very comfortable. The maid made the room up every morning, and the room and its bathroom were spotlessly clean. Possibly the best aspect was the value for money. I cannot believe that you will find a better hotel in central Paris for the very reasonable rate we paid. I hope to return to Paris someday - and when I do, I will stay at the Hotel Caron de Beaumarchais!

We booked a room without view and it was pretty much a maid room. We were quite disappointed because it looked way too good on Instagram but in reality the room was quite dated and hygiene wasn’t up to our standards. I got a weird bump on my neck after the stay and we wonder if that was due to the hygiene.

Staffs were helpful and friendly. From a glance, the rooms with view don’t look all too bad. Location is really good.

I had a very lovely stay at this comfortable, cozy and convenient hotel in le Marais. The staff is friendly and helpful and rooms immaculately clean and well appointed. But my favorite thing about staying came as a complete surprise to me. I booked a front room facing the street which when I first arrived I thought might be noisy. The double glazed windows and the phone's noise machine dealt with any street noise quite easily. But... I was astonished at how much I enjoyed watching the world go by at the intersection of rue Rivoli and rue Vielle du Temple. I even got to watch the Paris Marathon go by one Sunday morning. The hotel could not be more convenient, near a great bus stop and two Metro stations. There is any any and everything one could wish for just down the street as le Marais is full of shops, restaurants and bakeries. I was able to walk to the Pompidou Center and all the other museums in the neighborhood. I would love to stay at Caron de Beaumarchais again if I have the chance and I think you might like it, too.

This is such a charming boutique hotel. The owner, Alan, and his assistant, Etienne are so very kind and welcoming as is the resident dog, Bobby. The antiques in the lobby and the taffeta fabric on the walls really make the space quite unique. If you like, they will bring breakfast on a tray to your room or you can dine downstairs in the small dining room. It’s enough food to fill you up for nearly the entire day!

Great location- we loved the neighborhood and being in walking distance to a lot of the major sights and restaurants.

The staff were wonderful and so helpful. They made a dinner reservation for us and even called to confirm when we needed to double check.

The rooms are small, as to be expected, but charming and comfortable. We did not have a balcony but were still able to look out over the streets due to the large
windows. We would definitely stay here again!

Just magnificent.||My partners first time in Paris.||She wanted anything experience and thus stunning wee hotel gave it in spades.||Very helpful owner and staff.||Wonderful room with a small balcony on the second floor. Perfect for people watching (we were very lucky)||The breakfast was fantastic and the service was brilliant at all times.||Nothing was ever a problem.||And Bobby the wee Scottish Terrier was a dude!||A brilliant stay for both of us.

Das Hotel ist wunderschön, hat sehr viel Charme und befindet sich in einer ausgezeichneten Lage. Die Zimmer sind klein aber sehr hübsch eingerichtet und gemütlich. Was uns absolut nicht gefallen hat ist dass wir immer wieder lange dunkle Haare gesehen haben, sowohl im Zimmer als auch im Bad, obwohl ich kurze blonde Haare habe. Das Frühstück sollte schnellstmöglich verbessert werden oder weggelassen denn eingepackter Käse , eingepackter Salz und schmutziges Geschirr gehen gar nicht. In den Bildern sieht das Frühstück wunderbar aus, leider haben wir das so nicht bekommen. Die Frühstücksdame ist uns total unmotiviert vorgekommen, was uns sehr enttäuscht und uns dazu gebracht hat alles liegen zu lassen und in ein Café neben an frühstücken zu gehen. Dort war alles wunderbar.

My wife and I stayed at this property a couple of weeks ago and here are our overall thoughts.

For the price you cannot find something at this level. We are very happy with our room although it was a little on the smaller side (we got the entry level room).

The service was fantastic. Even though this is a family run hotel they always had someone in the lobby at all times.

The location of this hotel was perfect for us. Everything was within walking distance and my wife and I really enjoyed how lively the neighborhood was. Will absolutely stay again!

I’m completely in love with this hotel, its owner, location, staff, bedrooms, and ancient Scotty dog mascot, Bobby!! It has been the perfect base for my Paris adventure (a 4-day boulangerie course at Le Cordon Bleu). Had my room been available, I would gladly have stayed here my entire time in Paris, thanks to the beautiful historic decor (incl. fresh flowers), great corner view over Rue de Rivoli (incl. the Paris semi-marathon), deep bath and lots of hot water, reliable and easy wifi, comfy bed and fluffy pillows, daily room cleaning, and attentive, friendly and kind staff. After 8 nights here, I have begun to feel like part of the family and am loathe to leave. Will definitely book here (early to get my same room) for any future Paris trips. Love, love, love it!

Wonderfully cozy rooms in a charming hotel. The rooms are small, but its a great use of space and they feel so cozy. The lobby is always so pleasant sometimes there was even a fire going. I felt so safe and well taken care of here. The elevator was very very slow and sometimes never came

El lugar está divino, me sentía en un set de película. Le pongo 4 estrellas porque me parece que deben cambiar los colchones que están muy aguados y darle una limpieza profunda. Tanto muebles como paredes. Por lo demás, está súper bien. El servicio es excelente, muy amables. Escuchas el ruido de las habitaciones de al lado. Todo escuchas, así que lleva tus tapones de oído y listo! ????????

I would not imagine myself staying anywhere else. The staff from the front desk to housekeeping were so throughly invested in making sure our stay was good as could be. The feel of the hotel is wonderfully Parisian, with just enough modern touches without taking away from its unique charm. Do get breakfast in your room and enjoy it on a balcony if you can!

If you’re looking for a quiet authentic Parisienne lifestyle trip, look no further than HCB. I enjoyed myself so much practicing my french with the staff and submerging in the cozy atmosphere here. I love this tiny boutique hotel. I’ve returned 3 times and I will keep coming back. The reception desk is terrific, the owner is very nice. I will say the coffee leaves something to be desired. But the breakfast server is ventilé and doesn’t speak English so it’s a good time to practice your French

Très déçue : chambre minuscule et sombre, la réception qui avait l'air si belle était un foutoir rempli de cartons. Salle de bain avec un carreau cassé. La dame qui a porté le petit déjeuner (délicieux par contre) était désagréable. J'ai cassé ma tirelire pour un séjour dont je rêvais et en suis sortie plus que déçue.

This is a gorgeous, authentic, vintage, boutique hotel, located so conveniently in Marais. The reception team are very obliging and helpful. Perfect for wandering the streets, enjoying coffee, restaurants, shopping and soaking up the history of Marais and greater Paris. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Merci :)

I am finishing my 10 day stay at the hotel. I am heartbroken to leave. It was the most perfect stay. The thing that makes the hotel perfect is the staff. They are lovely and accommodating.
