Den kvindelige receptionist, der var i receptionen da vi ankom, var ikke særlig serviceminded. Hun brugte mest tid på at tjekke sin telefon og blev heller ikke begejstret da vi kom og gjorde indsigelse over vi ikke havde fået det værelse, vi havde bestilt. Det blev pointeret alt var klart, vi kunne bare selv færdiggøre sengene, ved at tage puderne fra skabet.|Vores bad virkede ikke, vandet kunne ikke komme ud af karret, men det hjalp den mandlige aften receptionist gerne til med. Elevatoren var itu det meste af vores tid på hotellet, og da vi skulle tjekke ud, havde vi båret vores kufferter ned fra 3. sal, kom en anden mandlig receptionist hen for at hjælpe til med kufferterne. |Værelset var rent, men trængte til en opgradering, specielt til den pris vi betalte pr. nat. Der var store huller i væggen, badeforhængsstangen, knækket og var ved at falde ned.|Der er angivet der er bar på hotellet - det er korrekt det er muligt at få et glas vin eller en øl. Men det er et hjørne i morgenmadsrestauranten, hvor det er tilgængeligt mod et fee. Placeringen er ok, men til en pris er der andre steder i Marais kvarteret vi hellere vil bo på. Det er så ærgerligt, for det kunne være så godt med et lille familiedrevet hotel i hjertet af Marais, desværre var det ikke sådan det blev for os.

Der er angivet der er bar på hotellet - det er korrekt det er muligt at få et glas vin eller en øl. Men det er et hjørne i morgenmadsrestauranten, hvor det er tilgængeligt mod et fee. Placeringen er ok, men til en pris er der andre steder i Marais kvarteret vi hellere vil bo på. Det er så ærgerligt, for det kunne være så godt med et lille familiedrevet hotel i hjertet af Marais, desværre var det ikke sådan det blev for os.

Hôtel à l'ambiance familiale et décontractée, beaucoup de cachet et de charme au cœur du Marais. Prestations raisonnables pour ce quartier où la concurrence ne l'est pas toujours.

Amazingly quiet room in a busy city! We are a family of four and had the family suite. We all slept like babes. Great service!!! The front desk stowed our luggage and explained everything clearly in both French and English. We were very impressed with the location. Safe, quiet, nice little restaurants nearby.

I was really torn how to rate this hotel! All the problems with it are due to how old the building is, and they are trying their best with what they have, but that doesn't make it accessible or give it much space.

The Bad:
- The stairs! Oh the stairs! They go sideways and slanted and they are terrifying. When you get out of the elevator (which can hold at most 2 people or one person with a suitcase) you still have to drag your bags up stairs. If you have any mobility issues, you should skip this hotel.
- I've stayed in smaller rooms, but this was pretty tight for two people with luggage. Low ceilings as well.
- The lighting was so dark in the room even with every light turned on. The bathroom was luckily fine.
- Shower only had a detachable head, which you absolutely had to detach or else you flooded the entire bathroom (you still did a bit no matter what). Shower was not fully enclosed and was quite slippery.

The Not Sure:
- You get one key (a punch card) and have to leave it at the front desk when you leave the hotel, and they give it back when you return but without checking ID. It was usually the same person we left it with but I was surprised to have such an old system when it wasn't a metal key.

The Good:
- Staff was so friendly and helpful! We were able to borrow an iron and ironing board (our only hotel without one, which was not surprising with the size of the room) as needed, and they helped us book a next day taxi for our very early flight. Everyone spoke English for these lousy Canadians.
- It had a cute lobby and small dining area (which we did not use).
- The front was decorated with pink flowers!
- The location was fantastic! Just a couple minutes from the Metro (which we initially took from our train station directly to the hotel). This line gets you to all the main attractions super easy. The hotel is surrounded by restaurants and shops and is only a few minutes walk to the Seine River.
- Crooked stairs aside, it had personality (ie flamingo wallpaper) :)

Een gezellige gastvrije ont vangst bij het sfeervolle hotel in de buurt van Place St Catherine in Parijs. Een sfeervolle leuke hotelkamer. Het ontbijt was voortreffelijk. Aanrader! Dichtbij de Notre Dame. Ook gelegen in het 3e arrondissement de Marais!

Room was small but I came to Paris to see the sights not to spend time in the hotel room so the room was adequate. Staff were friendly. The room had a fridge, a safe, a hairdryer and a kettle. The room was very warm, the view was of large silver ducting. Only four coat hangers ( I suppose I could have asked for more. I would also have appreciated a handrail in the shower as I found it difficult getting out when the shower basin was wet.

Una estancia fantástica, el personal en verdad que ha sido súper amable y servicial, nos ayudaron a solicitar el traslado al aeropuerto y siempre nos recibieron con una sonrisa y con la misma alegría y amabilidad nos despidieron.
Nos hemos hospedado aquí 2 veces y sin duda lo volveremos a hacer.
Las habitaciones limpias y cómodas. Y tuvimos una vista estupenda!

Lo recomiendo totalmente!

A due passi dalla metro Saint Paul in 10 minuti a piedi da Notre Dame.Come di norma a Parigi camera piccola e un po calda,ma hotel carino e pulito.

Affordable accommodation in Paris. English speakers on the staff. Great location for walking or taking an Uber to attractions. Rooms are small as expected in Paris but how much time would you spend in your room?

Stayed here with our teen sons on their first trip to Europe. So happy with our choice! It's not huge and modern if that's what you are looking for - it's charming, and in the perfect location. The rooms are on the smaller side but comfortable, clean, have what you need/want. Great light, large windows to let in fresh air. The staff is kind, helpful and non-obtrusive. Breakfast was surprisingly good! The neighborhood is perfect - a quiet street near to everything - cafes, restaurants, the metro is a short walk. We loved coming back to the neighborhood and the hotel after long days of sight-seeing.

Hôtel très bien situé au centre de Paris (point de départ pour visite impeccable). L'accueil est très agréable. Notre chambre sous les toits était très propre avec une très bonne literie. Seul petit bémol, la température fraiche dans la chambre et salle de bain, mais un petit chauffage d'appoint (qui fait son travail) est disponible dans la chambre.

Très bon rapport qualité prix pour cet hôtel situé en plein cœur du Marais.

외부에 아름다운 꽃장식이 있습니다???? 직원이 항상 상주하고 친절한 서비스를 제공합니다. 객실을 청결하게 관리해줍니다. 파리 공중화장실의 청결도에 비해 이 곳은 깔끔합니다. 냉장고가 작동하지 않습니다. 방음 되지 않습니다. 수압이 적당합니다. 접근성이 뛰어납니다. 주변에 약국, 마트, 식당이 있어 편리합니다.

Service impeccable

As with my first visit in October 2011 and with each stay every year or two since then, this comfortable, quiet, and charming little neighborhood Hôtel has been my lodging of choice in Paris. Most important quality of the Hôtel is it’s kind staff! I have had the great fortune to always enjoy a very clean room and great breakfasts during my stays. The hotel is a short walk to the St Paul Metro station on rue St Antoine -Rivolli, many affordable cafes and grocery options. Merci to the Jeanne D”Arc!

Bel hôtel, chambre très bien, superbe localisation. Je retire une étoile pour le bruit insupportable des personnes de l'entretien qui s'activent sans ménagement très tôt le dimanche. Ce n'est pas un endroit pour se lever tard.
Nous n'avons pas pris le petit déjeuner.
L'accueil est chaleureux.

J’ai eu un très bon accueil à l’hôtel qui est très joliment décoré. J’ai eu droit à un surclassement car ils avaient des chambres disponibles. Les chambres sont belles propres et l’hôtel est situé dans un quartier qui bouge. Mais dans une rue très calme. Je suis venu pour le travail mais je reviendrai avec mon mari et mon fils car le lieu il est également approprié.

The Hotel Jeanne d'Arc was a wonderful find in 2020, so I stayed again this week (January 2025). The rooms were clean and well-appointed, beds were great, and the hotel is located on quiet streets (rue de Jarente, rue Necker) which made for a peaceful retreat right in the heart of Paris. The breakfast was tasty and abundant. I particularly appreciated the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff, who responded to all my questions and needs quickly and courteously. The hotel is surrounded by great little restaurants - do not hesitate to ask, in the email you will receive from the owner upon booking, for recommendations in the neighborhood - they were all great and reasonable.||One final note, for my fellow Americans, especially - if you're a large or bulky person (not meant snarkily, we're all different sizes and shapes), you might find the bathrooms a little hard to maneuver in. I think that's a factor to keep in mind - this is a hotel in a very old (historic?) building and it is compact. Some reviewers complained about the size of the rooms/bathroom/elevator - they are not large, but they're fine. That being said, it was perfectly adequate. It's the perfect place from which to launch forth, after a substantial and delicious breakfast, and to return to after an entire day exploring and experiencing the Ville Lumiere.

My friend and I stayed four nights at Hôtel Jeanne d’Arc in Jan 2025. Friend had room on 4th floor; mine was above his on 5th. Rooms are small with a few scuff marks here and there but cozy and very quiet, which I greatly appreciate. Staff is very friendly and accommodating and the breakfast is lovely. The location of the hotel is fantastic—right near the Place de Vosges in the heart of the Marais but tucked away on a side street so you get peace and quiet. Will definitely stay again on my next visit to Paris. Feels more like a bed n breakfast than a hotel and I mean that as a tremendous compliment.

We loved our stay in Hotel Jeanne d'Arc. We are a family of 3 and we had a room on the 6th floor. I could feel the spirits of my artist ancestors who must have lived and created art in that very space (or so I imagine). The room was small but perfect for what we needed; storage space, a small fridge, a desk/vanity, a tv and a shower and tub. The beds were very comfortable but I will say the third bed is small, best for a child. My son is very tall 5'3 and his feet could hang off the bed. The staff at the hotel were helpful and friendly. The hotel was perfectly located and it was easy to get to anywhere we wanted to go. We loved staying in Le Marias, away from the tourist hustle and bustle. Make sure to go to Brigat for croissants in the morning.
I don't know when I will be back in Paris but I will stay here when I come back.

The location is hip and steps from loads of shopping. My favorite restaurant through the whole trip was right across the street. I am a single woman and felt safe walking past dark in the area. The bathroom had a towel warmer! The french windows were beautiful! The breakfast was charming and delicious. I wanted/needed for nothing- everything I needed was provided. (they have ironing boards too) Staff was excellent. Ten out of ten!

This hotel is in a GREAT location, a stone’s throw from excellent sights, and the cafes and bars of bustling Marais district. |The breakfast was much better than expected, with good variety. Our room was very spacious, with a nice street outlook. The hotel itself is a little tired feeling, but it is a fairly budget place for the area, so that was to be expected. There is, remarkably, a lift which is great when you packed too much!|We struck one sullen old guy on the front desk, but to Management’s credit they dealt with his attitude and apologised, which was welcomed and hopefully he remembers what ‘hospitality’ means in dealing with his guests!

Il n'y a rien de mieux que cet hôtel pittoresque. Nous avons adoré la chambre, le personnel et la machine à café dans le hall. Nous avons apprécié de nous retrouver sur la petite place au coin de la rue. Si nous retournons un jour à Paris, il n'y a pas d'endroit où je préférerais séjourner.

Notre hôtel préféré à Paris ! Personnel très aimable et serviable à tout moment ! Bon petit déjeuner ! Nous revenons toujours quand nous sommes à Paris ! Le Marais est notre quartier préféré ! Des gens tranquilles, des petites boutiques mignonnes, des bars et des restaurants et de l'art à tous les coins de rue ! Très recommandable !! Super adresse à Paris ! L’hôtel est très bien situé, dans le quartier du Marais, très agréable et proche de tout! On a pris une chambre familiale car nous étions avec nos deux filles et la chambre était vraiment top, excellent rapport qualité prix. Par ailleurs l’équipe est super sympa, ils ont accepté de nous garder nos bagages bref rien à redire, c’était top on reviendra !

J'ai trouvé que l'emplacement et le service étaient excellents. Cependant, ma chambre ne ressemblait pas à ce qui était annoncé sur le site web.
