I booked this hotel *specifically* because I was told it had air conditioning – I confirmed it twice: once by phone before booking, and again at check-in. But when I got to the room, there was NO air conditioning, only a weak ceiling fan – completely useless in the heat.

Because of a medical condition, I physically cannot tolerate high temperatures. I had no choice but to leave immediately and book another hotel at the last minute.

I sent two emails asking for a full refund and explaining the situation – including proof of the alternate booking. They never replied. Not once.

Dishonest, unprofessional, and utterly indifferent to their guests. If you care about comfort, honesty, or even basic customer service – do yourself a favor and stay far away from this place.

There was construction going on across the street so if you opened your windows it was very noisy. Also we had just returned from a 7 day cruise go getting the bags to the lift one flight up was difficult. The lift does not go to the ground floor. Once there the elevator was very small. Staff was very nice though.

Sympathique petit hôtel extraordinairement bien placé. Notre chambre , petite mais très confortable, personnel charmant toujours à votre écoute et prêt à vous rendre service. Sur son conseil nous avons fait de notre cantine la plus proche brasserie située à 50 mètres sur la place des Vosges où l’accueil est à la hauteur de son excellente cuisine.

Flawless welcome, cozy room with overhead fan, and beautiful, delicious petite déjeuner. The Staff goes above and beyond in order to help Guests with bags, directions, taxis, recommendations and sticky stuff like, « I lost my key, »

Verschrikkelijk hotel. Eigenlijk meer een hostel. Niet fris, kreeg acuut last van hooikoorts door huismijt; oude zooi. Betaalde € 200+ per nacht. Nooit weer!

Very pleasant familiar hotel, well situated, quiet. Optimal place to see Marais. Nice museums and Place the Vosgues Park . Friendly and helpful personal. Good breakfast.

Just spent almost a week in Boutique Hotel de la Place des Vosges. Our stay was certainly made more comfortable by the helpful friendly people at the front desk....helping with my computer lost at the Venice airport to giving us valuable information about where to enjoy the best breakfast bakery treats. Adding to our comfort was the beautifully detailed renovation of an antique building....the details were gorgeous. (My computer is on it's way back to me!)

Sad hotel with three very annoying noise issues: large construction project across the street, a "doggy bar" across the street with much afternoon barking (forget about naptime), a very trendy bar on corner with outside patio and loud-mouth drunks until about 2 am. No air conditioning. Tiny room. Elevator only on middle 3 floors. Dark staircase that seems major trip hazard. Think again before making a reservation!!

This hotel was a joy. Exactly what we wanted. Excellent location, wonderful, gracious staff. Out of the busy sections of Paris but a very convenient ride on the bus or Metro to all major sites. We took the bus to the Eiffel Tower, the D'Orsay and the Louvre, also quick ride on the Metro but on first day we wanted to see the area. The Metro to Champs Elysses and The Arc. Great restaurants and cafes in the area for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Loved the coffee shop across the street and many great, reasonable restaurants in the area. Loved spending time at the Chilean bar next door on our last night, drinking shots of Pisco with the locals. Great experience Merci!!!

This hotel was recommended to me by a friend. Very cosy hotel in a busy and central part of Paris. Very easy to get around with both Bastille, St Paul and Sully Morland stations very close by, from where you can easily get to all main sites. Great restaurants and bakeries in the area. Close to clubs and bars at Bastille. Also close to theatres. A lot of small shops of different kinds in the area.

Nice room with great windows and a lot of light. Decent bed, but not amazing. Very clean, change of sheets every day.
Very friendly and helpful staff, even to a couple who don’t speak french. They even allowed us a late check-out without additional charge.
Breakfast was decent, but would just go 150 metres down the street for a better and cheaper breakfast at a boulangerie.

Do not stay here if you have troubles walking stairs as the lift doesn’t take you to ground floor.

All in all, had a great stay for four days in June 2024. Will probably stay here the next time I’m in Paris as well.

I always feel immediately at home in this charming hotel. On the doorstep of the lovely Place des Vosges, so much of my favourite Paris is within walking distance. Rooms are comfortable and nothing is too much trouble for the friendly and accommodating staff. Thank you for another lovely stay.

Sehr charmantes zentral gelegenes Hotel inmitten vom Quartier Marais. Ich hatte ein kleines Zimmer gebucht. Es war eng aber ganz OK. Das Bett war sehr gemütlich. Die Dusche ist gross und muss positiv erwähnt werden. Die Gastgeber sind sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Vielen Dank für den tollen Aufenthalt.

Typisch kleine Zimmer für Paris, aber gut ausgestattet und der Service ist exzellent! Frühstück ist einfach, aber sehr lecker mit Croissant, Baguette und Konfitüre + Orangensaft. Immer wieder gerne. Die Lage des Hotels ist ideal!

Il servizio e la sensibilità di questo albergo è pessimo. Non sono potuta andare per motivi gravi e non solo non mi hanno rimborsato ( vaucher di meno della metà da usare entro un mese nelle date che non mi hanno ancora comunicato) oltretutto mi hanno risposto con maleducazione e poca professionalità.
Preferirei un albergo educato e professionale rispetto ad un comportamento del genere. Inoltre si sono rivenduti la camera subito.

Great location for visiting the sights of Paris. The service was really excellent and attentive. I managed to book a single room by mistake and it was all sorted out without any fuss. Really enjoyed the stay. Our room on the top floor was very clean and comfortable and the staff could not have been friendlier.

This charming hotel is very understated yet lux. From the plant filled entry and cozy sitting room it is very clean, updated and quiet with good insulation between rooms. I never heard the talk or activities of other guests. The bathrooms and amenities were very modern with great soaking tubs in some rooms and the best hair dryers I've had in any hotel. The soaps and shampoos are from L'Occitaine!!! That says it all. It has an excellent continental breakfast with fresh squeezed OJ included. The staff were so friendly and helpful in a very homey and casual atmosphere that you could mistake as your own home. Thanks especially to the warm and friendly Rena who helped in so many ways and to Benjamin who called me when I was delayed in arriving and stayed late to make sure I was safely arrived and settled in. As a solo traveler, I felt very safe and cared for. I'll see you again! It is the perfect location in the hip shopping paradise Le Marais and steps away from the beautiful Place d'Vosges with its fine dining and sunset strolling scene. It's also easy walking distance to the Bastille metro, the Left Bank, the Ile de la Cité and the Seine where you can jump on the on/off boat and ride along to several stops including the Louvre and the Eiffel Tower. I stayed a week and loved every minute. Thank you again!
