We were here for a full week & we were so lucky to have found this quiet little gem in Le Marais. The location could not have been more perfect for our first time visiting Paris. Moving around in and out of the city was a breeze & we loved the variety of food & shopping literally within a couple minutes walking distance from our accommodation. We appreciate the cold filtered tap water & selection of nespresso/tea available for us on our early mornings & late nights. Also, our bed being made & the fresh big towels were a daily comfort we became accustomed to. Thank you all so much for providing a comfortable place for our first visit to Paris ✨ ???????????? to many more!

Très joli établissement avec tout le confort souhaité. Personnel accueillant et serviable, petit déjeuner varié et lit confortable. Le quartier est très vivant avec beaucoup de bars et restaurants. J’y retournerais avec plaisir. Nous avons passé un excellent séjour.

We were there for 2 nights and this was the perfect place to stay! easy to get around via metro or walking, very close to Notre Dame, and a ton of great places to eat and drink.
**Keep in mind that this is a huge city and area with a lot of nightlife, so you will hear some street sounds even with the windows closed. Also, there was a slight smell from time to time coming from the shower drain, but you can close off the shower Door. Nither of these things impacted our stay though.
More importantly the Hosts were great! So helpful and responsive. They stock the shared kitchen with coffees and have a few tables where you can have a small sit down breakfast (with table service I think?)

B&B ingresso brutto e anonimo, peggio ancora le scale. Codice a tutte le porte. Hall arredata in modo semplice ma accogliente ||CAMERA piccola, attrezzata, arredata con gusto, molto pulita come il bagno. Televisore di grandi dimensioni, letto molto comodo

Sehr geschmackvolle Einrichtung. Netter Kontakt zum Personal. Sehr gutes Frühstück. Perfekte Lage, um sich nach langen Spaziergängen zwischendurch auszuruhen. Tolle Geschäfte und Lokale in direkter Nähe. Metro-Station in der Nähe. Wir waren schon zum zweiten Mal hier und kommen gerne wieder.

מלון שקט ואינטימי. ארוחת בוקר טובה ובהחלט מזמינה. חדרים נקיים ודיי מרווחים. כל שביקשנו קיבלנו. בהחלט מלון במיקום מעולה. גם ליד מטרו גם ליד בוטיקים, מסעדות ואטרקציות שונות. הדבר היחיד שאין מעלית. אבל המלון נמצא בקומה ראשונה. אז בהחלט נגיש ולא נורא.

Déconnexion totale avec le bruit lorsque l'on arrive dans les chambres côté cour ! Cela fait un bien fou. Dans un chouette quartier animé (pubs, boutiques, etc.). Tout à portée de marche. Petit salon sympathique où l'on peut aller se faire du thé ou du café. Le petit déj est très complet et très bon. Petit conseil, évitez juste la chambre à côté de la réception si vous avez un sommeil sensible, car le matin, on entend bien la préparation du petit déj :) Mais c'est vraiment pas grave.

Highly recommend staying here! My girlfriend and I stayed here for 4 nights and felt right at home. We arrived to a very clean room and helpful service. Breakfast was served each morning and we had access to their kitchen for espresso and tea throughout the day. The front desk was very helpful with any questions we had and the location was walking distance to most of the sight seeing you might want to do in Paris.

We really enjoyed our stay. The location is perfect, approximately 15 minutes walk from Notre Dame. Lots of decent places to eat close by that are reasonably priced. |Breakfast was lovely with plenty of choice. We will definitely be back next year!

Un très bel endroit, très bien situé. Deux points à améliorer cependant: dans la chambre 3 (les lampes de chevet et les plinthes pleines de poussière donnent le sentiment d’un nettoyage rapide et superficiel). Le petit déjeuner est très varié et frais, mais la quantité est relativement congrue. Deux mini viennoiseries et un morceau de baguette sans possibilité d’être resservi. C’est dommage.

Charming comfortable rooms in an apartment in the heart of le Marais. Our room was lovely and cosy. There's use of a kitchen for water, coffee machine etc and the breakfasts are delicious served by lovely quiet polite staff. It's a great model halfway between hotel and bnb which works very well. Very Parisian feel We will be returning.

Die Lage und Atmosphäre von Le 1er Etage Marais ist top. Sehr gepflegt und sauber. Absolut zu empfehlen. Juliette war sehr freundlich. Der Zugang sicher gestaltet. Man fühlt sich dort sehr wohl. Wenn wir nochmal nach Paris kommen dann sicherlich wieder dort.

Die gemütlichen Zimmer sind klein, aber wer verbringt in Paris schon Zeit auf dem Zimmer? Das Frühstück ist gut, die Atmosphäre fast schon familiär, aber vor allem die Lage in der ersten Etage eines Wohnhauses im Marais macht den Aufenthalt besonders. Man ist halt gleich mittendrin, wenn man draußen ist.

We had a lovely stay and were welcomed by Juliette on our arrival. She made us feel at home. Our room was clean and had a comfortable bed with good quality bed linen. The breakfasts each morning were excellent and a great way to start our sightseeing day. We would definitely stay again.

Superbe! Nous avons adoré cet hôtel en plain Marais, un de mes quartiers préférés en plein centre historique de Paris. La location est pratique, près du métro Hôtel de Ville, pas loin d'arrêts de bus.|Quant à 1 er étage, TOUT nous a plu, la déco (TOP!), le confort, la propreté, le petit déjeuner servi tous les matins par une jeune femme charmante, les petites touches écolos (bravo!)- la bouteille d'eau, le petit sac, le pamphlet avec les bonnes adresses de Paris.|Et ce je ne sais quoi...le charme?!!|On y reviendra sûrement et on en parlera à nos amis. Merci encore.

Our stay was so wonderful! The location felt more like a cozy b&b than a fancy hotel, which we loved. The staff are pleasant and friendly. The room was spacious and quiet. The decor was cute and inspired. The hair dryer was full-size and powerful. ||The daily breakfast service was a treat with orange juice, coffee, fresh fruits, yogurts, veggies, cheese, and a selection of pastries (baguette, croissant, and pain au chocolat). Also, the communal kitchen was delightful with tea offerings and filtered water.||My allergies had been bothering me our entire trip, except at Le 1er Etage Marais. The cleanliness and well-maintained facility definitely helped me breath better. The heating was perfect without drying out the room. ||Finally, the location was absolutely phenomenal. It's both a very close walk to a lot of amazing sights, restaurants, bars, and shopping and also very convenient to the metro. The neighborhood itself is a joy. ||Perhaps, the only nitpick would be the walk from the ground level of thel building housing the hotel to the hotel entrance is through a dank and dark narrow staircase.||Overall, we had a blast! Thank you Le 1er Etage Marais!

Beautiful and cozy..it was like a home away from home. Wonderful breakfast and staff. The bed was super comfortable and the room and bathroom were immaculate as well.|The location in Le Marais was perfect..you’re right in the heart of local attractions, shopping and Notre Dame.

Charming place in a great location. Check in was easy and I liked the concept. The room was very quiet, even with the window open and a good size for Paris. The breakfast was the best I have had in Paris and the staff were very welcoming. Would definitely stay again.

Come sempre una certezza. Posizione perfetta, in pieno marais dove ci sono bar e localini in ogni angolo. La pulizia della struttura è da 10 e lode e la cosa ancora più bella è che non c’è la moquette. Una nota particolare al riscaldamento ed alla fantastica doccia. Dopo una giornata fuori è davvero piacevole farsi coccolare dal magnifico detto di acqua calda. La colazione super abbondante e servita al momento. Una nota particolare la merita la macchinetta della nespresso, sempre a disposizione degli ospiti. Io non ho alcun dubbio, le premier etage è la mia casa a Parigi!

Certainly a great location, surrounded by streets great for walking, shopping, and eating, plus good museums large and small all within a few blocks. Nice style of rooms. But with some negatives that should make the price lower than a normal hotel. (1) there is only staff a few hours a day, so if you want help or just travel ideas, you need to phone. (2) I thought we had some kind of shared kitchen space, but only coffee and tea service. (3) It’s nice to have a shared “living room” but it’s very dim and those little sofas aren’t very comfortable! Also it’s true, the entry stairs are a real challenge for your suitcase, and the windows are minimal. Overall we liked it and we like the idea, but we would only stay again if it was a lower price than normal hotels (in Oct 2024 it was same price).

This hotel has an indiscreet door on a side street (there is no name or sign for this hotel on the street). You will put in a code, and walk in. You will face a dark, spooky corridor. Walk a little bit and there’s another door to put in the code. Go thru and you will see a narrow, winding, carpeted, mildewy looking staircase. Then you will see another door and you put in a code to get in the actual hotel. There are some positives: The staff were nice and helpful. The inside of the hotel was very clean. Breakfast was good.
Negatives:
There is a gay club (or bar) with loud music across the street from this hotel. The club is open from 7:00 pm to 3:00 or 4:00 am. Our room (#4) was right where we could see this club with its flashing pink/purple lights from our window. Our room smelled like a very strong cleaning agent. The smell gave us a headache, but because of the club’s loud music we couldn’t open the window to let some fresh air in. When the club finally closed, it was time for the very noisy garbage trucks to show up to pick up the garbage from all the businesses in the street. So we still couldn’t open the window.
I am sorry to say that, for us, all the positives that I noted above do not offset the negative points. Thinking back, we could have complained about the strong smell, noisy bar and garbage trucks, but we didn’t. We stayed at this hotel for two nights and paid a total of 500 euros. For this much money we expected better.

Die allerbeste Lage für einen Besuch in Paris. Man fällt aus der Tür ins Leben und hat auch die besten Metro Verbindungen direkt um die Ecke. Man atmet Paris und fühlt sich im 1er Etage Le Marais wie ein Einwohner…
Die Gastgeber sind sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit und geben gerne Tips für einen schönen Aufenthalt.

Excellent rapport qualité prix. Les chambres sont spacieuses et agréables. L'endroit est parfaitement situé dans une rue calme en plein coeur de paris. Les chambres sont accessibles de manière simple par code ce qui permet de gagner du temps en éliminant les procédures de check in check out.

Endroit super bien situé au cœur du Marais, près de tout. Accueil chaleureux, petit déjeuner copieux servi à tous les matins. De plus, si vous souhaitez prendre un repas pour emporter et le manger à l’hôtel après une longue journée de marche, il est possible de s’installer dans le hall et profiter des tables.
Les chambres sont propres, de taille raisonnable et la décoration soignée.
Je n’hésiterais pas à réserver de nouveau si je retourne à Paris.

The hotel is recommendable because of the fabulous location. However maintenance is not high on the hotel’s priority list as the premises are worn out. Broken curtain, broken window handle, dirty under the sink, dirty around the toilet, dirty toilet brush, broken hook in bathroom, broken soap holder in the shower. Awkward silence in the breakfast room could be broken with some soft. background music, and not sitting 20 cm from the receptionist. Bread was not fresh.
