Avis HÔTEL DE SÉVIGNÉ Paris

Stayed one night at this hotel, and it was the worst night of my life. The room was filthy and overpriced, with a used coffee cup and toilet paper in the bathroom.

The room was infested with bed bugs, making the entire trip awful. At midnight, we went to complain. The receptionist, who initially gave a fake name, threatened to call the police instead of helping. He suggested changing the room or sheets (which doesn't help when the entire hotel is filthy), claimed to be texting the manager but was actually texting a colleague, and refused to call the manager, saying, “the manager is sleeping.” I spent the rest of the night in the bathroom to avoid being bitten. At 8 a.m., I learned from the morning shift guy that the nightshift receptionist had lied about his name and the manager’s schedule.

The manager came to the hotel at 10 a.m. He was helpful and got me a refund, but I left without sleeping and had to book another hotel.

PS. The awful nightshift receptionist's real name is Carlos.

Location is great. Room is pretty small. Breakfast was very good. The only real problem was the fact that the room temperature was pretty low.

Very small room in very small hotel with very small elevator. Add to that fire alarm at 1 AM because someone took a shower. And let’s not forget the WiFi which was so bad you could not even read email. Paid over 300 euro for this room …

Hôtel choisi pour sa proximité avec mes rendez vous professionnels, chambre propre mais pas très grande, un peu bruyant quand les personnes rentrent tard le soir.
Petit déjeuner un peu chiche sur la qualité des produits, à mon sens pas en rapport avec le prix payé.
Personnel souriant et disponible, accueil très agréable.
Parties communes vieillissantes.

Wonderful hotel in a perfect location, not too expensive and around all the luxury stores / train stops and waking distance to the best view of the Eiffel Tower (jardins du Trocadéro) you could skip out the breakfast since Paris is so cheap and most breakfast spots wouldn’t break the beak but that’s my personal opinion

You're paying for the location in the 16th arrondisment, which is safe and a brief walk from the Eiffel Tower, Arc De Triomphe, shops, pharmacies and dozens of restaurants. Otherwise, I'm unsure how this hotel gets four stars. |Paid $1,300 for a three-night stay in room 550. Queen bed was comfortable. |Bathtub plug leaked. When you get in it's full, five minutes later you're sitting in a puddle.|Towel warmer was broken. Washcloths are not provided, per the front desk.|Charming bistro table on balcony looked great for photos... but with onlyone chair, we took turns drinking coffee outside in the mornings. An electric kettle was much appreciated; bottled water and instant coffee were replenished daily.|Despite my terrible French, front desk employees were helpful, although with only one per shift, don't expect quick service. They were very kind about providing a bucket of ice each night.|There are small steps in the entrance and off the lobby that are not marked. You will trip unless you pay attention.|The minifridge (our welcome note said everything in it was free) kept contents barely below room temp. Wouldn't store milk or medicine in it. |The elevator is terrifying--big enough for two slim passengers and a suitcase, and that's it.|The room was cramped-- I realize European hotels are seldom as roomy as American hotels... but it was pretty tight with two adults, two suitcases and two carry-ons. |The chambermaid was so sweet, ringing the doorbell each morning and asking when she could clean the room. We tipped her well.|Pros: Safe area, great location with lots of historic architecture, free water, free minibar.|Cons: Room is quite tight, basic amenities lacking.

What a wonderful find! Highly recommended place to stay in Paris because not only are they conveniently located near best French restaurants, shopping at Champs Elyseé and have some of the best views of Paris, but the manager and staff are well accommodating and amazing. Their room was also very clean, and stylish. We stayed in one of the rooms with the balcony and that was so fun.

Tip: book with the hotel directly! Long story short we had a terrible booking mishap with Expedia and only when we asked the hotel staff to help did we find the best responses and resolution. They are well accommodating and reasonable to speak with.

Bon accueil, emplacement idéal ! Petit point négatif pour le ménage (chaussette sale, poussière …) + cuvette WC cassé. Mais je recommande cet hôtel la vue est top et le personnel très gentil !

Nous avons tout apprécié de notre court séjour. L’hôtel Sévigny sera désormais notre ´point chute ´ à Paris. Un grand merci au personnel.

I am happy to stay in this hotel because it has many positives. The most important of which is the behavior of the employees working there, especially the receptionists during the morning shift (Wendy and Angela). They were very helpful and accommodating with the clients which shows their professionalism. I would also like to pay tribute to the unique location of the hotel.

I'll start with our arrival. We arrived very very early around 9 am as we had an early flight arrival. The staff were very accommodating. They could not obviously give us our room yet but took our luggage and stored it in a room behind the check in desk and offered to email me as soon as the room was ready. Which they did around 1:30 pm. The hotel is a short walk to the Arc de Triomphe. We were also able to walk to the Eiffel Tower within 25 minutes. The walk to the Louvre was much longer at 45 minutes but we are walkers so it was fine. Uber was extremely reasonable just FYI. We used it to go back to the hotel a few times. The room was small but perfectly fine for our needs. I love that there is an elevator. Some smaller hotels in older buildings do not have this. The room and bathroom were very clean. We opted to not have them clean the room during our short stay so I can't comment on that. We didn't have breakfast either so no comment on that. There are many restaurants within walking distance. The hotel emailed me a list of their recommendations prior to arrival. We did go to one of them which was less than a minute walk from the hotel. Very good food. We felt completely safe in this neighborhood and it is very quiet.

Super Lage in der Nähe des Arc de Triomphe der Champs-Élysées. Das Hotel ist in einer ruhigen Straße gelegen. Fußläufig erreichbar sind Cafés und Restaurants. Auch ein Carrefour ist in der Nähe. Das Personal ist freundlich. Das Zimmer war klein, aber vollständig eingerichtet mit super Beleuchtung (dimmbar). Sauberkeit war top und und das Badezimmer modern.

Hotel muy bien situado, cerca del Arco del Triunfo y de los Campos Eliseos. Es un lugar ideal para descansar y visitar París. Las instalaciones está muy bien y el personal es muy amable.

On est bien dans paris 16, oui oui …Fuyez l’établissement.

Vous dites : « sans nous donner les contenu ». J’aurai du donc vous dire ce qu’il y avait dedans pour retrouver mes affaires ? Cette réponse est affligeante et dénuée de sens. La conclusion c’est surtout que je me suis fait volé, dans votre établissement, paris 16 ieme, alors même que je vous avais prévenu, par la seule personne ayant eu accès à ma chambre : revoyez votre plan d’embauche au plus vite !
Votre réponse « c’est pas ma faute » en se protégeant à travers des conditions générales en dit long sur votre honnêteté et votre professionnalisme.
Jamais je ne reviendrai chez vous et je ferai passer le message à autant de personne que je peux. Les autres hôtels dans 16 ieme ne manquent pas !

Le meilleur hôtel de Pars, très bon service, le petit déjeuner et les boissons sont incroyables
