Hôtel très proche métro 6 .
Personnel agréable et au petit soin.
Pas vu de défauts niveau propreté .
Petit déjeuner varié et garni.
Je dois toujours dormir avec des bouchons d’oreilles en ville , ça n’a pas été le cas cette fois ci!
Nous reviendrons sans hésiter !

Exceptional Comfort and Cleanliness at a 3-Star Gem – Grand Hôtel du Porte Dorée

During my recent stay in Paris, I had the pleasure of discovering the Grand Hôtel du Porte Dorée, and I must say, it truly impressed me. For a 3-star hotel, this place goes above and beyond in offering a comfortable, welcoming, and impeccably maintained environment that feels far more refined than one might expect in its category.

Let’s start with the most noticeable aspect: cleanliness. The hotel is spotlessly clean throughout—from the lobby and hallways to the guest rooms and bathrooms. It’s clear that the housekeeping team takes pride in their work. Every corner was tidy, fresh-smelling, and well-kept, which instantly gave me peace of mind and made me feel comfortable in the space.

The room itself was cozy yet elegant, with tasteful décor that reflects a blend of classic Parisian charm and modern touches. Although not overly spacious (as is typical in Paris), it was very thoughtfully arranged, making excellent use of the available space. The bed was exceptionally comfortable with quality linens, and the room included little extras that aren’t always found in 3-star properties—such as tea and coffee-making facilities, a small fridge, and environmentally friendly toiletries.

One of the aspects that stood out most was the warm and sincere atmosphere of the hotel. It’s a smaller, boutique-style place, and that adds a personal touch that many large chain hotels simply lack. The staff were courteous and helpful, always ready to assist with directions, restaurant recommendations, or transport advice. They were polite, multilingual, and made a real effort to ensure that guests felt welcomed and cared for throughout their stay.

The location is another great advantage. The hotel is situated in the 12th arrondissement, just a few steps from the Porte Dorée metro station, which provides direct and easy access to the heart of Paris. Despite being well-connected, the area is quieter and more residential, which allows for a peaceful night’s sleep—something that can be hard to find in busier parts of the city. There are lovely cafés, bakeries, and local shops nearby, and the beautiful Bois de Vincennes park is within walking distance—a perfect escape for a morning stroll or a relaxing afternoon.

What also deserves recognition is the hotel’s effort to be eco-conscious. From the use of sustainable materials and products to waste reduction initiatives, the management clearly cares about the environment. This thoughtful approach made me feel good about staying there and supporting a business with values.

Our stay was truly enjoyable!|The breakfast was perfect, offering a wide variety of food. Moreover, the rooms were comfortable and spotlessly clean. The staff were also kind and very helpful. When I return to Paris, I will choose this hotel again and again.

Very cute hotel with very cosy rooms. Pillows were very comfortable. Clean bathrooms and clean hotel. Beautiful breakfast in the mornings with everything you could ask for. Both hot and cold options. . Friendly staff and is near transport to move around the city. Convenience store close by if you have any needs.

Hotel pulito,silenzioso,con portineria h24,vicinissimo a 2 metro (6 e 8),personale molto cortese e disponibile. Le stanze sono pulite e silenziose con un grazioso affaccio sui tetti parigini. Zona tranquilla,vicino un'ottima boulangerie. Consigliatissimo!!!

Hotel excelente muito limpo, com atendentes simpáticos. Ótima localização ao lado do metro. Bairro tranquilo com vários opções de padaria e mercado perto. Optamos por café da manhã a parte, mas tomamos café algumas vezes no hotel (14 euros +taxas) muito bom e completo.

Hotel espetacular,limpeza muito boa, silenciosos, excelente atendimento muito simpática a recepcionista,o hotel fica a 100m do metro,a uma distância de 20 minutos do centro,zona muito calma e segura,adorei e usando voltar de uma próxima vez será aqui com certeza que vou ficar hospedado.⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Leuk hotel met heel vriendelijke staff. Hotel is goed gelegen in een rustige omgeving en dichtbij metro station. Ontbijt was lekker en ruim genoeg. Mooie kamer, iets aan de kleine kant maar wel proper. Badkamer netjes en alles aanwezig. Eén minpuntje: de kamer kon niet volledig verduisterend worden. Vriendelijke en behulpzame staff

It was nice to get out of the hustle and bustle of the big city. |The hotel is cozy and clean.

Kleines nettes Hotel am Rande des Zentrums. Zimmer nicht sehr groß. Sehr gute Dusche . Frühstück für französische Verhältnisse sehr gut. Sehr gute U-Bahn Anbindung. Nette kleine Restaurants in der Nähe. Personal sehr freundlich. Günstig zum Airport Orly gelegen.

Great hotel in a good location, literally 2 mins from the nearest metro station. Bars, shops, cafes and restaurants nearby, enough choice for most people.|Warmly greeted on arrival, given a good recommendation for lunch just down the road, restaurant 217. Check in simple and straightforward, the hotel takes €100 as a deposit for breakages etc but it's returned to you on checkout, also there's the tourist tax, we paid just over €33 for 3 nights.|Breakfast room is small but breakfast is good, mostly continental so don't expect a fry up. Fresh produce and coffee decent enough. Staff are friendly and helpful and can answer your questions about the area and the metro/places to visit.|Room for us was small, pictures online are a bit deceiving, however room was very clean, shower was ok, bed and pillows comfy. Also there's a fridge and air conditioning, which we definitely needed! Hotel provided 2 bottles of water in the fridge for the first day. Wardrobe space is small, no drawers so storage was lacking. Room cleaned every day, fresh towels on request. Our room looked onto the main street so would recommend ear plugs if you can use them, mostly traffic noise but also building work going on at the fountain next to the metro station.|We enjoyed our stay here, perfectly situated for visiting the sights, everywhere is roughly 20-30 minutes away by metro, recommend getting a day pass for €12 per person, otherwise it's €2.50 for a single ticket.|Would definitely return and definitely recommend, thank you to the lovely reception team ????

Muy satisfecha con la atención en este hotel, todo su personal siempre atento a las necesidades de sus huéspedes, especial la atención de Feta y sus compañeros de la recepción. ||La habitación muy limpia, cómodas camas, todo funcionando a la perfección, la limpieza de la habitación durante la estancia excelente.||Los desayunos nos encantaron, con diferentes opciones y las mejores magdalenas que nos hemos comido.||Cuando vuelva a Francia me quedaría nuevamente este lugar. ||Gracias, Gracias, Gracias. Hotel idéalement situé à deux pas du métro 6 et 8. Un accueil très chaleureux par l’hôtesse à notre arrivée puis par l’équipe et la responsable lors de notre retour qui fut pleine de bonnes attentions ainsi que très serviable. ????

Chambres très propres et service très sympathique. Les chambres sont un peu petites mais c'est normal à Paris.

Chambre parfaitement équipé et personnel à votre écoute.
le petit déjeuner est conséquent, un réfrigérateur dans la chambre garni de bouteille d'eau attend le client ainsi qu'une bouilloire et du thé et du café.
