We stayed here as our last destination on our trip, and it was honestly the best stay of the entire trip. We were exhausted from traveling (Paris, Rome, Madrid) and struggled to book a ride share from ORY airport. Upon arrival, Donovan was AMAZING. He provided exceptional, professional and enthusiastic service. He is a main reason we would recommend and come back to this hotel! He helped us get our room, even tried to find something a little better. He helped recommend great food/restaurants in the neighborhood that were great price and great taste. Within walking distance. The rooms were very clean and spacious compared to others we stayed in. Room service had the rooms perfect every time we came back to the hotel. Again, 5 stars for everything. 10 stars for Donovan! He was amazing!

The staff at Hotel Porte Doree are the most professional and helpful people I have ever experienced in my wide travels. They assisted us with both our cycles, assembling them in the breakfast room was no issue. Every request we made was met with a smile and positive attitude. They made us feel like family. The hotel location is super, a lively neighbourhood full of locals and we walked to the bustling Marais with ease. The beautiful Parc nearby is a wonderful place to relax for a day, with a lake, small boats and magnificent gardens. We have stayed in Paris over the years in numerous hotels and I highly recommend Hotel Porte Doree-especially if you have cycles. We will return.

Toujours une valeur sûre et un accueil sympathique. Un hôtel bien placé, propre, proche du parc et de la ligne 8 qui dessert tout Paris. On s'y sent bien, c'est pour cela que nous choisissons régulièrement cette adresse. les chambres sont spacieuses et la literie excellente.

非常拉的酒店。1. 房间不干净，浴缸内有明显灰尘，床上也有头发丝等痕迹。浴室设施陈旧且老化，淋浴玻璃隔断损坏，摇摇晃晃有安全隐患。 2. 床品差，睡着不舒服 3. 房间内部布局不合理，马桶和浴室以及房间的门挤在一块，无法同时打开马桶间的门和浴室门。有安全隐患 4.酒店房间受地铁影响噪声极大，地铁开过时楼板有震动感 5.工作人员素质参差，到访第一晚发现房间不干净，要求换房时表现不耐烦并且处理问题很慢。6. 针对亚洲人有针对性的投放广告（小红书和booking），住了4晚，碰到的几乎都是亚洲面孔。如此水平的酒店是如何在rednote、booking上"收获"好评如潮的呢？

Yacine and the team could not have been more helpful in preparation for and during our stay. We were cycling to Paris so there were quite a lot of logistics to organise and the hotel team were exceptional. The stay was a pleasure and we will be making plans to come and stay here again very soon. Thank you all once again!

Wir können das Hotel guten Gewissens weiterempfehlen. Die Zimmer sind ordentlich und sauber, genauso wie das ganze Haus. Das Frühstück bietet eine kleine aber angenehme Auswahl aus vegetarischen und veganen Lebensmitteln und wird regelmäßig aufgefüllt. Das Personal ist super freundlich und die Lage ist ebenfalls gut. Metro, Bus und Tram direkt vor dem Hotel, Lebensmittelgeschäfte in direkter Nachbarschaft und die beste Bäckerei gleich gegenüber.
Einziger Nachteil: es ist manchmal etwas laut. So hört man zum Beispiel die Metro durch den Boden. Es ist nicht schlimm, aber eben auch nicht ruhig.
Nous pouvons recommander l'hôtel en toute bonne conscience. Les chambres sont bien rangées et propres, tout comme toute la maison. Le petit-déjeuner propose une petite mais agréable sélection de plats végétariens et végétaliens et est régulièrement réapprovisionné. Le personnel est super sympa et l'emplacement est également bon. Métro, bus et tram juste devant l'hôtel, épiceries à proximité immédiate et la meilleure boulangerie juste en face de la rue.
Le seul bémol : c'est un peu bruyant parfois. Par exemple, vous pouvez entendre le métro à travers le sol. Ce n’est pas mal, mais ce n’est pas silencieux non plus.

I really recommend the Porte Doree Hotel. It's elegant, based in beautiful neighbourhood of 12 quatier near wonderfull park. Steping out of the hotel you're in paris underground (100 m), what's the most important for Paris sightseeing. The rooms are comfy and simply beautiful (the atmosphere of old Paris), bathrooms are very clean and welcoming. The staff is lovely, very warm, always helpfull. The level quality to price is very good, I would call it: comfort for decent price. I will be back for sure.

Il nostro soggiorno all’hotel de la porte dorée è stato bellissimo! Stanze pulite, letti comodissimi e personale molto gentile. Metropolitana a 2 passi e quindi comodo per gli spostamenti!! ||||L’unica cosa da migliorare un po’ è la colazione. Secondo me soprattutto per i bambini c’è poca scelta.

Rooms need a major refresh. Minimal starage space. There is space for more storage, but the room is poorly configured. No closet. No drawers. One shelf. Claims to be eco-friendly, with no fragrance, which is not true. Motion activated hall lights are poorly calibrated and make for a creepy hallway. Some staff are nice, some are cranky. Several close transit stops make getting into the city center less difficult.

The hotel was very nice and full of character. The room had everything we needed: a safe, an ironing board with an iron, a TV, a mini sewing kit, earplugs, shower gels, and body lotion. A big plus was that our requests made during the booking process were fulfilled. The bed was very comfortable, and the room was clean and cleaned daily. The reception staff spoke English very well. Breakfast was typically French but very tasty and made with high-quality products. It was great that hot chocolate, freshly squeezed orange juice, and a fruit salad were available. There are several shops nearby, as well as McDonald’s and Burger King. Metro line 8 is also located right next to the hotel, so you can easily get anywhere in Paris.

I will start with the positive points: the location of this hotel is great. You have subway entrance right in front of the hotel door, and line 8 can take you to most of the major attractions within 1 transfer and under 30 mins. There is also a lovely local farmers market across the street which we enjoyed as well. The staff is friendly, room is clean, a bit old but stylish. Although it’s a bit small, I’m not going to complain cause you kind of get what you paid for.
Now to the part that makes me will never come back again, which is also the most important function of a hotel: REST. As I mentioned before there is subway right down. Which also means you can hear and feel train passing every now and then, especially at night. Understandably that the hotel doesn’t have control over this, but what they can do is to at least put some signs in the staircase or in the hall way to tell guest to keep it quiet! My room was located right by the staircase so every night when there are people coming back and walking on the stairs I can hear them very clearly, stepping on the old crunchy squeaky stairs. There are also people who probably drunk too much and start to sign/scream or talking very loudly to their group. I usually sleep around 11/12pm, and not surprisingly a lot of guest come back around 1-3AM. I’m not even a light sleeper but I got waked up by these noises many times per night and it’s hard to get back to sleep afterwards.So make sure to prepare yourself to have a lot of sleepless nights staying here!

My daughter and I had an absolutely fantastic stay at Hotel de la Porte Doree! Although the hotel is not in the city center, the metro line 8 is literally right in front of the building, making it incredibly easy to explore the city. The hotel itself was spotless, and the atmosphere was welcoming and cozy. The breakfast is organic, delicious, and a great way to start each day.
The staff were truly exceptional, and I want to give a special thanks to Yacine and Gopi, who made us feel extra special with their kindness and professionalism. Their friendly and polite service made a huge difference and really enhanced our experience. The bed and pillows are super comfortable, the best I have ever tried.
Overall, I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Paris. Excellent service and a truly wonderful stay!

Das Hotel Porte Dorée in Paris ist ein echter Geheimtipp! Die Zimmer sind gemütlich eingerichtet und versprühen diesen ganz besonderen Pariser Charme – genau das, was man sich für einen Aufenthalt in der Stadt der Liebe wünscht. Besonders angenehm fand ich die kleine, aber feine Frühstücksauswahl: Alles vegetarisch, mit frischem Orangensaft und liebevoll zubereitet. Super war auch die Hafermilch, die sogar direkt auf dem Zimmer zur Verfügung stand – ein schönes Detail, das zeigt, wie durchdacht das Konzept ist.
Einziger kleiner Minuspunkt: Der Preis ist etwas hoch angesetzt. Dafür ziehe ich einen Stern ab. Trotzdem: Wer auf der Suche nach einem charmanten, nachhaltigen Hotel in Paris ist, wird sich hier sehr wohlfühlen. Ich komme gerne wieder!

Very nicely decorated and cozy hotel. Metro line 8 right at the front of the hotel, plenty of restaurants and just a short walk from Bois de Vincennes with its Zoo, Floral Parc, Lakes.

非常好就是位置有点远了，不过出门就是地铁也方便门口就是超市，还提供免费水果和咖啡特别好，但是空调好像不是特别暖和但也不至于太冷，不知道夏天制冷效果怎么样

Impossible de dormir le passage du métro sous la chambre fait un bruit terrible et des vibrations , chambre OK, ascenseur minuscule vraiment trop trop étroit, insonorisation inexistante on entend les gens aux couloirs et descendre les escaliers , personnel froid.

Hotel is clean and nice. It’s in the good location. Close to metro line. Only thing is housekeeping didn’t do their job properly. They are working so noisy. They didn’t change bedsheets (they just reversed it) or give new towel or water when we required housekeeping service.

Un grande vantaggio è la reception aperta 24 ore su 24, che rende tutto più semplice, soprattutto quando si viaggia con la famiglia.
Nella piccola hall è presente un angolo molto carino con una macchinetta del caffè, acqua e frutta sempre disponibili: un'attenzione davvero apprezzata, specialmente al mattino per un caffè veloce da portare in camera.
Lo stile dell’hotel è molto particolare, con un tocco vintage che lo rende davvero affascinante. La pulizia è eccellente, le camere ordinate e il bagno sorprendentemente spazioso. Complimenti davvero allo staff per l’attenzione ai dettagli.
La posizione è comodissima: a soli 100 metri dalla fermata metro Porte Dorée (linea 8 con fermate Opéra, Concorde etc...) e a circa 950 metri dalla fermata Daumesnil (linea verde 6), che collega direttamente ai principali punti di interesse come Montparnasse, Torre Eiffel, Champs-Élysées e infine Arc de Triomphe (Charles de Gaulle). Charles de Gulle è l'ultima fermata e si raggiunge in circa 30 minuti di metro.
Proprio di fronte all’hotel c’è un supermercato molto ben fornito e una boulangerie dove abbiamo trovato croissant e baguette davvero deliziosi.
Nel complesso, un ottimo soggiorno. Pulizia impeccabile, posizione strategica e servizi ben pensati: ideale anche per famiglie con bambini. Consigliato!
