Sehr schöner und gepflegter Campingplatz in toller Lage direkt am Fluss. Mit etwas Glück bekommt man einen Stellplatz in der ersten Reihe – mit direktem Blick aufs Wasser. In der Nähe liegt die sehenswerte Stadt mit vielen kleinen Läden und Restaurants, ideal zum Bummeln. Besonders beeindruckend sind die Gärten von Marqueyssac, die man gut erreichen kann. Ein Highlight: Zum Kanufahren wird man direkt am Platz abgeholt – bequemer geht’s kaum! Der Pool ist sauber und bietet eine angenehme Abkühlung. Insgesamt ein perfekter Ort für Erholung und Aktivurlaub in wunderschöner Umgebung.

Sehr gepflegter Campingplatz, sehr saubere Duschen, toller, großer Pool, wundervolle Lage direkt an der Dordogne in richtig schöner Umgebung, viel Schatten durch schönen Baumbestand, freundliches Personal (spricht auch englisch und sogar etwas deutsch), gutes Baguette etc. kann für den nächsten Morgen bestellt werden, kleiner Laden, Ver- und Entsorgung für Wohnmobile prima. Nach La Roque-Gageac (gehört zu den plus beaux Villages de France; viele kleine Läden und Lokale) auf Fußweg in 15 Minuten. Badestelle am Fluss gleich am Platz. Wir haben uns ausnehmend wohl gefühlt. Der einzige Wermutstropfen für uns war das Fehlen von Wegen zum Radfahren. Die nahe Landstraße ist sehr befahren. Wer ein Mountainbike dabei hat, ist fein raus, denn es gibt einen rustikalen Weg Richtung Castelnaud-la-Chapelle (auch eines der plus beaux Villages; die schöne Burg sieht man vom Platz aus) direkt ab Platz).

Si vous passez dans la région, venez séjourner sans hésitation au camping la plage..Les gérants sont d'une très grande gentillesse et savent rendre service lorsque vous avez un souci..encore merci à eux....camping très agréable et très bien entretenu. Rien à redire. Nous y retournerons dès que nous reviendrons dans la région. Cordialement

Mooie camping aan de Dordogne; goed en schoon sanitair, op loopafstand van la roque gageac, een plaatsje dat je gezien moet hebben als je in de Dordogne bent.|Campingeigenaar erg vriendelijk, deze camping is een aanrader. Wel goed kijken hoe je aan komt rijden, de snelste weg is niet de makkelijkste voor camper of caravan.

Fijne rustige camping, tenminste in het voorseizoen. Goed sanitair met goed warm water in de douches en voor de afwas, ook zijn er genoeg voorhanden, geen wc-papier op de wc's. Broodservice ook aanwezig, alleen restaurant was in voorseizoen niet geopend. De wifi is gratis en goed overal op de camping. Zwembad ook reeds geopend maar nog te koud om hiervan gebruik te kunnen maken. Wij kregen een plek direct aan de rivier De Dordogne, door de vele regen steeg het waterpeil behoorlijk maar door de vriendelijke eigenaren werd ons op het hart gedrukt dat wij staan konden blijven, hij bleef het voor ons in de gaten houden. Uiteindelijk na 2 dagen zakte het water in de rivier weer.|De plekken zijn afgebakend en sommige hebben veel zon en andere schaduw.

Ein wunderschöner Platz, sauber, gepflegt mit sehr freundlichen Personal. Sanitärräume immer in gutem Zustand. Sehr zu empfehlen. Und die Lage am Fluss ist traumhaft. Inmitten von Sehenswürdigkeiten des Perigord noir gelegen ist der Camping la Plage ein idealer Ausgangsort für einen schönen, abwechslungsreichen Urlaub. Wir kommen wieder.

One of the best campings we've been in France - for us.
We came here the second time.
Why so?
There are only few bungalows which are nicely separated from the campground area that is rare today.
Large gras pitches with shade or less shade.
Sanitary services are clean, hot water, nothing to complain about.
No animation! - but a playground for the children is available.
Close to the river and to bike trails and other sightseeings.
Bread is excellent so is the service area for the campers outside.
In essence if you seek nature and calmness this is your place.
If you seek animation and entertainment you are wrong.
The road besides is not disturbing.

Herrlich an der Dordogne gelegen, sehr freundlicher Empfand. Auch für größere Wohnmobile geeignet. Eher hochpreisige Gastronomie Die Kulisse ähnlich in Beynac einfach traumhaft. Gibt auch einen großen Stellplatz.

Lovely campsite beside the Dordogne river. Has swimming pool and children's play area onsite plus a casual bar and dog walking area. Showers and toilets are clean and well cared for, nontpilet seats or toilet paper provided though.

Camping où nous étions déjà venus il y a 6 ans, l'accueil est toujours au top, les locatifs n'ont pas envahi les allées, on reste sur un camping familial, calme, le patron tourne régulièrement pour s'assurer que tout va bien, un vrai camping.

Wat een fantastische plek! Wij waren hier 3 jaar geleden ook en blijven enthousiast. Vriendelijk en gastvrij beheerders- echtpaar, broodjesservice, keurig sanitair, perfecte Wifi. En dit alles in een schitterende omgeving met volop wandel en fietsmogelijkheden. Je staat aan de rivier met uitzicht op de rotsen en de authentieke dorpjes. Met de hond wandelen is een paradijsje. Heel erg bedankt voor deze heerlijke week, wij komen zeker terug. Top!!!

L'inspecteur acsi ne dois pas avoir connaissance de ce qui est l' igienne, je ne recommande pas ce camping , aucun confort ,limite plutôt un accueil pour SDF...

Nous avons passés deux très belles journées et soirée en camping camping-car avec une superbe vue sur la dordogne.Camping très propre de très belle parcelle les propriétaires très sympas à même pas 10mn à pied de la roque gageac

We loved this campsite so much we ended up returning twice and staying in total for a week until they closed on 14/10, just before our return home.
It’s in a beautiful location, with lots to see and do. Very relaxing for us and our dog as the river which flows alongside the campsite is accessible via a gate, and once through he was able to be off lead. Being very shallow the river was enjoyed by swimmers and dogs alike. Tour boats and canoes were a frequent sight. Then just next to the site are fields which stretch to the next village, within walking distance, and away from the road, so again the dog could be off lead. Hot air balloons were visible most days, some dropping down within a few feet from the river, then up and off again.
We met a couple who’d been going to the campsite every year for 37 years, and seen the transformation to what it is now.
The facilities are clean and first class, the owner and his staff are friendly and helpful. We shall definitely be returning every year ourselves.

Nice site, clean sanitaires, can get busy, easy access. Cold and wet in the mornings in October but very hot by midday. We'll worth a visit, not far from Sarlat.

All facilities immaculately clean and in first class condition. Showers very hot and good pressure. Good easy access and friendly reception. Only downside for us was early mornings were very damp and because pitches were very dry our dogs had to be washed every morning as they got filthy. Nothing the owners can do apart from making the pitches hardstanding. Perhaps dog shower would be good if possible. As Stated an excellent site and plenty of local places of interest to visit. Also great bar and restaurant.
