We hired the whole house for a week
The location is idyllic within the walls of the one of the most beautiful towns in France
Views from the garden are stunning
Bedrooms are stylish and any issues were rectified by the owners rapidly
Canoeing on the Dordogne is available within 10 mins cycle
Several chateau’s are within a couple of hours cycle

We were on a hiking trip through Dordogne and spent 2 nights here. It was absolutely perfect, serene and a wonderfully restful place after hiking all day.

Can’t say enough about this wonderful B&B owned by charming Helene and Francois. They were so lovely and helpful.|Breakfasts were yummy!|Our room was spacious, with the nearby beautiful garden and spa affording great views of the Dordogne region.|Domme was our favorite Dordogne village.

We stayed six nights in this wonderful and romantic inn located in the charming hilltop town of Domme. The only thing better than sipping wine in the bucolic garden overlooking the valley was the friendliness of hosts Helene and Francois. They were so incredibly attentive, making recommendations and dinner reservations for us. The inn is perfectly located for exploring the Dordogne's many attractions and for canoeing and biking. The antique-filled room was spotless with a modern bathroom and a refrigerator that contained a bottle of local wine. The breakfast (which is extra) was scrumptious and filling ...and even more delightful when eating it in the garden. But for all the amenities, the best reasons for staying here are the hosts themselves (and their cute dogs).

Absolute delightful stay. Francois true was gracious and helpful with all requests. The house is festooned with his excellent artistic taste. The garden his one of his passions and it overlooks the valley where you can take your breakfast.

Hélène and Francois were such kind and helpful hosts and I absolutely loved my stay here. The room was immaculate and so well designed, with gorgeous views as well. The garden outside was so beautiful and relaxing, and I loved having the option to rest in the shared lounge with a fireplace. Thank you to Hélène and Francois for making my time in Domme so pleasant. Give your 3 dogs a good pat from me.

J'ai fait une réservation pour nos vacances chez Hélène. Je n'avais malheureusement pas vu qu'il n'était pas possible d'annuler. Mais cela n'était pas dérageant étant donné que ce n'est habituellement pas mon genre d'annuler ce que j'organise minutieusement.
Ma grand mère est décédé juste avant le départ, nous rendons évidemment indisponible pour ce voyage, la sépulture ayant lieux pile sur ces dates.
J'ai contacté Hélène pour l'en informer et trouver une solution ensemble, mais ça réponse a été que le remboursement était impossible car cela représenterait une "grande perte" pour elle.
Elle m'a proposer de venir à d'autres dates, mais évidemment ceci n'est pas possible pour moi au vu de mon travail.
Je trouve cela inadmissible, je comprend qu'une annulation deux jours avant est difficile pour ce genre d'établissement mais osé me dire que c'est une grande perte pour eux, alors que j'enterre ma grand mère, est encore plus difficile.
Résultat, je perd ma grand mère, et 500€ qui m'aurait aidée à régler les funérailles.

Superbe !! Au cœur du village de Domme, idéalement situé. Chambre confortable et decorée avec beaucoup de goût. On ne s'imagine pas quand on pousse la porte de cette ravissante maison de village qu'il y ait un si beau jardin avec jacuzzi et piscine.
Tout était parfait !! Le petit déjeuner est délicieux et les propriétaires sont attentionnés et discrets à la fois. Nous avons beaucoup apprécié ce moment et gardons un très bon souvenir de cet endroit.
Je recommande vivement.

Superbe.
Les propriétaires sont vraiment gentils, discrets et à la fois toujours prêts à rendre service. Leur maison est particulièrement agréable, calme et le jardin un bel écrin, dans lequel nous avons savouré un délicieux petit déjeuner chaque matin.
Nous reviendrons avec joie !

There are few places that can compare to the lovely boutique hotel 1 Logis a Domme. Truly everything is perfect! Spacious rooms with beautiful art and antiques. Glorious garden with tables set up along a terrace overlooking the Dordogne River valley. Delicious and beautifully presented breakfasts. 3 adorable dogs and a cat to greet your arrival. And the hosts, Helene and Francois, always friendly and warm while offering suggestions for local restaurants and adventures. All this located in the charming hilltop town of Domme. We are so lucky to have stayed here for 3 nights. Thank you.

François and Hélène were warm, welcoming and offered a fantastic experience with good WiFi. We brought our 5 year old and they were happy to find games for the rainy days and suggest kid friendly sites to visit and other recommendations including restaurants. Hélène's phenomenal garden just outside of the breakfast salon provides an amazing backdrop to delicious breakfast offering or any other meal you bring if you ask for dishes and cutlery. The downstairs study/salon is warmed with wood fire in the winter and is both spacious and cozy. I can't imagine staying anywhere else in the beautiful Dordogne and it's probably the best bed and breakfast experience I've had yet.

One of the most beautiful bed and breakfast I have seen in some time. The place is decorated with a lot of taste, has an amazing view, a mini botanical garden, a small swimming pool with an incredible view, a delicious breakfast and kind accommodating owners. Highly recommend to stay there if you happen to travel to Dordogne. A great boutique bnb experience from start to finish. I wish other places had this level of attention to detail.

We had a couple of nights in his wonderful place. Our hosts could not have been nicer and our room and shower room was exquisite. A beautiful garden with great views to sit in and relax. Thank you so much to our hosts. It is a shame we had to move on as we would have been extremely happy staying longer.

Superbe maison d’hôtes décorée avec beaucoup de goût, située en plein cœur de Domme et à proximité des sites d’intérêt du Périgord noir. Le lieu est reposant, les hôtes sont très charmants et accueillants. Cerise sur le gâteau: un excellent petit-déjeuner composé de produits frais et de fait maison. Nous recommandons sans hésiter !

Une adresse de charme qui vous permettra de découvrir le très joli village de Domme. Les hôtes et leurs adorables Jack Russel vous accueillent avec beaucoup de gentillesse dans une maison confortable et élégante. Le jardin fleuri avec vue est une proposition à la rêverie. Les chambres soigneusement décorées sont ravissantes. Et que dire des petits-déjeuners ! Beaux, délicieux, et copieux, ils sont adaptés à vos restrictions ou envies. Bref une adresse que je recommande et où je reviendrais assurément avec plaisir.

Superbe et très agréable maison d'hôte fort bien placée dans le très beau village de Domme.
Les propriétaires sont très chaleureux et peu avares de recommandations.
Chambre spacieuses, très fonctionnelles et décorées avec beaucoup de goût.
Déjeuner dans une salle qui donne sur un joli petit jardin, style jardin de curé.
A découvrir absolument. Je recommande vivement.

My wife and I spent 7 nights at 1 logis à Domme, using the hotel as a base for exploring the Dordogne. It's not an exaggeration to say that this was one of the most delightful places we've stayed anywhere in the world. The palatial room and bath; the lovely garden; the pool and spa; the superb breakfasts; the cozy library; the breathtaking views. Most of all, the attention and friendship of the gracious hosts, Hélène and François, made this an incomparable experience.

Das 1 Logis a Domme ist ein B&B der Extraklasse. Es hat eine wunderbare Lage in einem der schönsten Dörfer der Region und bietet eine Vielzahl von nahegelegenen, außergewöhnlich sehenswerten Ausflugszielen. Das Gastgeber Ehepaar eröffnet den Tag mit einem fantastischen Frühstück. Wir sind schon viel gereist und haben diese Perfektion aber nicht oft erlebt: Stücke vom Baguette (aufgebacken und knusprig), kleine Mehrkorn Brötchen, Croissant, 3 Marmeladen, Käse, Schinken, Joghurt mit Himbeere, Orangensaft, Eier (auf Wunsch auch als Rührei oder Spiegelei), Minicrepes, Obstschale mit mehreren Sorten, Kaffee oder Tee, aufgewärmte Milch. Und das alles ganz frisch zubereitet und von den Gastgebern mit viel Freundlichkeit und Stil präsentiert. Wir können unser Wohlbefinden kaum ausdrücken. Nicht zu vergessen das Ambiente: Bei schönem Wetter sitzt man zum Frühstück im kleinen, idyllischen Garten. Dort findet man auch Sitzplätze mit Tisch und Ausblick für ein kleines Picknick am Nachmittag oder Abend. Ein weiteres Itüpfelchen ist der Pool. Dort haben wir am Ende eines Ausflugstages ein kühles Bad genommen und konnten sogar noch einen Jacuzzi nutzen. Wir hatten eine wunderschöne Zeit in diesem kleinen Paradies.

Un voyage dans le temps. Un havre de paix. Les hôtes sont absolument charmants, disponibles et la maison est incroyable. Le jardin est magique,les petits déjeuners au top. On oublie le reste du monde une fois posé dans ce logis. Le spa et la piscine évidemment sont aussi les bienvenus.
