A beautiful place to stay - had a lovely couple of days here. A good atmosphere and amazing surroundings.
However we stayed in the hammocks - we were told we could leave our bags by the hammocks and then found almost £200 cash to be missing from our bags. Told staff at reception who didn't seem bothered or willing to explore it more. Our friend also experienced bed bugs and bites in their room, and asked to speak to the manager but they did not come.
The light up plankton trip was amazing and worth the extra charge, however the day snorkelling trip was very average and not worth the extra charge. Generally people felt the casa was over priced. However, we did have a wonderful time there despite the above and the staff were generally very friendly. I would still definitely recommended people to stay here due to the vibe and surroundings, just make sure you have a place to lock your things if you're staying in the hammocks and watch out for bed bugs!

Desde Cartagena el viaje dura 2 horas en lancha. El lugar es hermoso, un paraíso, el agua increíble. Como comidas tienen siempre una opción generalmente con pescado y otra vegetariana. También venden otras comidas aparte (si no te gustan las opciones de la cena recomiendo comprar algo antes de las 22 que es cuando cierra la cocina porque después no tenes opción a comprar nada). Estando en la casa hay actividades como snorkel, kayak (30.000 colombianos), ir a la isla San Bernando y luminiscencia, todo tiene su costo aparte. Lo único que considero “negativo” es el baño, tiene sistema seco, luego de utilizarlo deben tirarse cenizas arriba, no me pareció muy higiénico y termina generando olor. Las duchas están bien. Recomiendo la experiencia.

Ha Sido la mejor experiencia que he tenido, un hermoso lugar, dónde aprecias un bello atardecer, sus aguas cristalinas y la experiencia de nadar junto a los peces, muy recomendable. Aparte que la rumba en la noche espectacular

I stayed with my partner for 3 nights and had the best time. The staff are so welcoming and friendly, and the hostel had the perfect vibes to meet new friends or have some chill time. Our room was comfortable and the facilities were clean. Highly recommend, don’t miss it. Such a very special experience for the both of us. Loved it!

Excelente lugar en el medio del paraíso!! Comida fresca y muy deliciosa, una experiencia única, inolvidable, vimos bioluminiscencia y manglares, increíble naturaleza y colores. Amanecer y atardeceres únicos.
El baño es seco y el agua es un tesoro, aquí te encuentras con la personas viviendo viajes igual que tu, la vibra que se arma en la casa, única !! Recomendado ☺️

Un lugar , en mi opinión, sobrevalorado. Caro para lo que es . Con respecto a los baños si lo limpiaran mas seguido , seria mejor , era todo un sacrificio ir al baño por el olor que había . Las instalaciones dejaban mucho que desear , poco espacio para la gente , y los trabajadores del hostel ocupaban gran parte y tenían mucha mala onda, no tenían ganas de atendernos. Ponen horarios para todo, para almorzar , cenar y si no te sumas te miran mal , los mismos trabajadores usan las instalaciones como si fuese su casa , realmente nos sentimos que molestábamos. Las habitaciones eran chicas y había bichos. No lo recomiendo para mas de un día .

Muy lindo el mar pero como en todo Colombia, es una linda experiencia pero por pocas horas, después la atención hace que la experiencia no sea buena, muy cortantes, poco amables, la ducha no funcionaba por lo cual eran a baldes, la habitación tenia chinches en la pared q te picaban de noche, es muy caro tanto las habitaciones como los tragos, no volveríamos.

Buen spot, mar increíble. Lugar sobrevalorado para mi gusto. Atención mucho que desear, poca limpieza, poco cuidado del alojamiento.
Mi recomendación; es un lugar para pasar el día, pero no cuentan con esa opción.

A really special place, although a little expensive for what it is. Your time there will very much depend on the other guests and the general vibe they set. Would be 5 stars if it wasn’t for the snorkelling trip… 40k pp for a 45 min trip to the worst snorkelling spot I’ve ever been. Really poor visibility and nothing interesting to see, way too expensive too. Enjoy it for free around the Casa instead ????

Amazing experience! I was nervous about coming here based on some of the negative reviews, but they were way off. As long as you read their website and are prepared for roughing it a tiny bit with dry toilets, trickle showers, etc. You will have the time of your life. The plankton tour was otherworldly, the host makes sure the vibe is right and that the music is at appropriate volumes for the mood, so many friends were made, just a fantastic experience, 10/10 recommend.

Other things of note, the "bucket showers" are actually showers which trickle down which are really refreshing at night. The food was excellent every day (I was never worried about it making me sick). There are crabs/fish/lizards all around which is so cool. The hostel is set up to make friends, but I still found time to enjoy my book in peace. The music at night was turned down at a reasonable time, so sleeping was never an issue. Basically ignore the one star reviews from people who didn't know what they were getting into. Come and enjoy an incredible experience.
