The campsite is situated a few meters from the Orange River, (border between Namibia and South Africa. Nestled in the heart of the Aussenkehr Grape Valley. The camp and most facilities are not wheelchair friendly. However, the Norotshama staff was more than willing to assist us where possible. We camped here for 3 nights.
Powerpoints, 2 communal ablution facilities, shaded places adjasent to the ablution facilities to do your laundry and dishes. Braai facilities.

We only go there for lunch from time to time. The food is a little disappointing and the service not all that great. Waited long for our food and once it was delivered to the table, the waitress never came back to check on us until after the meal was finished.

Eine tolle Anlage und sehr nettes Personal. Das Dinner war sehr lecker.
Ich persönlich mag nicht, dass das Bad keine Türen hat und die Toilette ebenso.

Nice view from the bar. Wants to be something it is not (a luxury resort). Campsite is nice and the ablution facilities are clean.

Everything is excellent. Bed and rooms are comfortable. Very cozy place for a night.

Although it is a resort, they also offer camping at excellent value for money! The staff were so nice, and the place is spotless and the showers nice and hot. The restaurant had delicious food (burger and quesadilla was amazing) We really enjoyed relaxing here for a few days before embarking on the gravel back roads.

Wir haben eine (kurze) Nacht hier gecampt. Die Anlage an sich ist sehr schön gelegen am Ufer des Oranje. Der Campingplatz liegt am hinteren Ende der Anlage unter schattigen Bäumen. Der Rasen war leider eher braun als grün. Die Sanitäranlagen sind etwas in die Jahre gekommen aber sehr sauber. Tolle Grillplätze. Leider wird der Campingplatz von einigen Tourveranstaltern regelmäßig zum Waschen ihrer großen Tourbusse bzw. der gesamten Campingausstattung (Zelte, Geschirr etc.) missbraucht, während die Tourgäste vorne in der Lodge nächtigen. Über 4 Stunden Lärm und Geklapper bis nach 19:00 Uhr haben uns den Camping-Aufenthalt redlich vermiest. Zumal das Management keinerlei Anstalten machte, das zu unterbinden. Um 06:30 Uhr morgens dufte der Bus dann noch 20 Min. warmlaufen. Damit war die Nacht für uns vorbei. Ein geruhsamer Urlaubstag sieht anders aus.

Lovely peaceful setting, with a beautiful dining & bar area and swimmingpool. The dinner and breakfast were excellent with great service.

It is a well laid out resort and the airconned rooms are very comfortable.

The lake side cabins need a bit of an upgrade - the entrances are not very inviting, very bland and dusty. Luggage racks in the room and a few more hooks in the bathroom would have been welcome.

We enjoyed our stay and would recommend the resort. The sunset over the river was really spectacular.

Food and service great! Very cool aircon rooms is extreme January heat! Nice swimming pool and good wine selection. Everyone goes out of their way!

Sehr schöne Anlage. Chalets sind sehr komfortabel. Leider wurden wir als Gruppe am 31.12. gezwungen ein Buffet zu wählen obwohl es auch al a carte gab. Sehr frustrierend.

Excellent hotel after a long trek through the desert. Staff and management made sure we had an incredible experience, put together a lovely sunset dinner on the river. Would love to go back, can only recommend!
