Construit au début des années 1970 dans une architecture de style arabe, le Kunduchi a été entièrement rénové. L’endroit est spectaculaire et la plage magnifique, avec un petit village de pêcheurs à proximité. On y trouvera 120 chambres avec air conditionné et télévision, décorées sobrement avec une touche swahili coast. Par ailleurs, l’hôtel propose piscine, tennis, squash ainsi que plongée, pêche au gros, parachutisme ascensionnel, jet ski, tours sur un îlot privé et un parc aquatique pour les plus jeunes. Des vacances de rêve pour toute la famille.

It’s hard to pinpoint my favorite aspect of this luxurious wilderness camp. Everything was top-notch, from the sumptuous tented rooms to the food to the doting staff. Try to get one of the rooms along the bottom of the hill, which feel more secluded and have better views. The early morning views from bed, looking out across the Savannah, are unforgettable.

The location was excellent, providing close proximity to the migration crossing area, ensuring abundant animal sightings and action. However, the service left much to be desired, marked by frequent miscommunication and initial cold showers, which were quite uncomfortable. The food, leaning towards Western flavors, lacked the local touch we were hoping for. Additionally, our repeated requests to open the blinds at a specific time went consistently unfulfilled. While the location deserves a 5-star rating, our overall experience fell short when compared to our stay at the company lodge in Seronera, which was significantly more satisfying.
