Conçu initialement comme une réserve à la demande de botanistes suisses, le parc privé « Gondwana » est désormais doté d'un lodge tout confort comprenant 6 bungalows pour 2 ou 3 personnes, 3 chambres doubles et une familiale. Ce qui constitue l'Ankarana Lodge. Construites en bois et en pierre à proximité d'une grande piscine, les unités se fondent parfaitement dans une nature omniprésente, et vous aurez peut-être la chance de voir des lémuriens au réveil. Personnel très aimable et visite guidée possible du parc, qui possède ses propres tsingys.

The hotel in Madagascar is a perfect getaway for nature lovers. The national park nearby offers a unique experience with the tsingys that can only be found there. The Platform above the tsingys provides a breathtaking view. The hotel's exotic cuisine is of excellent quality and very delicious. The pool is well kept and crystal clear, a perfect place to relax and order drinks. The hotel's WiFi is reliable, which is a great plus. The bungalows are spacious and clean, although sometimes little animals or lizards can be found inside. However, I expected this as the hotel is located in the middle of nature. While staying there, we encountered a scorpion in our room, but the hotel staff quickly took care of it. Overall, this hotel is a great choice for those who wish to explore Madagascar's unique nature and wildlife while enjoying a comfortable stay in a clean and well-maintained environment! I really loved it there ❤️

My brother and I stayed here for 1 night and I have to say that this was not worth the money! We were charged € 100 for 1 night. No where was stated that only 2h of airconditioning was allowed when it's over 30 degrees Celcius in this area. Furthermore there was a big stain on one of the beds. The bathroom was organized very impractically. The shower is practically on top of the toilet. I would have driven the extra 30 min to go to Kôzobe Hotel, which was a much better alternative!

Through e-mail it was confirmed that guests of the lodge are allowed free entry to the Tsingys. It was not mentioned which one. When we drove the the grey Tsingy, they were not aware of this information, which costed us much more to enter the park.

Super freundliches Personal, Pool inkl. Service, leckeres Essen und herrliche Bungalow-Lage im Wald.

Die beste Lodge in Nordmadagaskar, wunderschöne Bungalow, tolles Schwimmbad, Bar mit exzellenten Cocktails, Restaurant mir ausgezeichneter Küche und das Personal ist freundlich und kompetent. Ganz besonders sind die Rundgänge durch den eigenen Tsungy Park wo die Pflanzenwelt sich die aussergewöhnliche Natur bestaunen lässt.
Ein Platz wo man unbedingt länger bleiben sollte, umliegende Attraktionen sind gut erreichbar
