Beautiful setting on the riverbank of Chobe, friendly and helpful staff and cosy chalets. Small and quiet place, we had three relaxing days at Kubu which will remain a favourite in Chobe!

We had an amazing time at Kubu lodge! The rooms are charming and rustic
Service is an A+ all around - the restaurant staff are super attentive, front office staff are very helpful, and the other staff members we spoke to are all very helpful and friendly
The location is stunning - right on the bank of the chobe river, we loved seeing the wildlife visitors (bush bucks, warthogs, mongoose) on the lawns while eating

Everyone at Kubu Lodge is so nice and welcoming. We just returned from our trip so we were there during the winter season and it was very quiet there. Our room was nice but definitely a little more "rustic" than we had experienced in other places on our trip (and a little chilly). But it was clean and comfortable for two nights. The breakfast consisted of a small buffet and made to order eggs and lunch was a variety of salads on a platter and then a hot main course. The best meal was dinner -- we loved what we had both evenings! The location was great to get to the dock for the boat safari and very close to the airport as well.

Het is een relatief klein terrein waarop eenvoudige en sterk gedateerde lodges - niet zijn voorzien van airco en een koelkast - zijn gesitueerd. Er is vanuit de lodges geen zicht meer op de rivier door de dichte begroeiing langs de oever. De gastvriendelijkheid en aanbod van activiteiten is goed. Het restaurant is van voldoende kwaliteit (2 sterren) waarbij de rust rondom bediening wel aandacht vraagt. Het ontbijt is magertjes. Het park, met name de lodges, vragen snel om een upgrade zodat het aantrekkelijk blijft voor toeristen.

Wir hatten eine tolle Zeit in der Kubu Lodge. Die Lodge liegt am schönen Chobe River und hat eine sehr schöne große Grünfläche. Hier grasen Buschböcke und Warzenschweine. Von den schönen Terrassen kann man die Tiere beobachten. Das Essen ist unglaublich lecker und das Personal sehr freundlich! ????
Es können Ausflüge in den Nationalpark direkt von der Lodge unternommen werden, die auch zu empfehlen sind.
