Wonderful experience! We arrived just before sunset to a peaceful setting and a warm welcome from Pedro. Our private bungalow with the amazing views of the ocean and mountains really made this special! Dinner was delicious and breakfast was exactly what we needed. Great for families but also great for a romantic stay. Highly recommended! We wish we could stay longer

Hotel peace and lodge will complete your tikan experience. My partner and I stayed for 8 nights and we enjoyed all of it. We will most definitely be coming back because it’s an experience that will clear your head from all worries and truly have you at peace.
- Great views (above Carillo beautiful mountains and sunset/sunrise)
- Amazing food (Adrian made some of the best food I’ve ever had)
- Fantastic service (Angela & Luz treated us with such kindness and Laura was super nice in every aspect.)
- phenomenal vibe (a beautiful pool right next to the restaurant allowing you to eat, swim and enjoy the view all from your table.)

Wir wurden herzlich empfangen und man fühlt sich gleich wie zu Hause.
Geführt würd das kleine Hotel mit 5 Bungalows von einer französischen Auswanderin Laura. Das hotel ist? Sehr großzügig und die Zimmer liebevoll eingerichtet.
Die Anlage ist überschaubar und gut gepflegt.
Man sollte ein Tierfreund sein, da auf dem Grundstück 2 Hausschweine, 3 Hunde und 2 Katzen leben, die aber sehr freundlich sind.
Das personal gibt sich viel Mühe und man bekommt fast jeden Wunsch erfüllt.
Ein Traum ist die Aussicht und der Sonnenuntergang den man bewundern kann.
Es gibt zwar nicht viel Gerichte auf der Karte, aber das Essen ist fantastisch und wenn man was anderes möchtet ist der koch für Vorschläge offen.
Mir fällt es nicht leicht etwas schlecht zu bewerten, da man sich hier liebevoll um alles kümmert, aber leider ist das Frühstück sehr eintönig und es fehlt etwas an Vielfalt.
Wer in Samara einen Aufenthalt plant muss unbedingt hier rasten.

En haut de la montagne, un magnifique panorama sur la baie de Carillo.
Quelques bungalows, une jolie piscine et sur un accueil chaleureux de Laura et de son équipe.
Un très bon chef pour la restauration et une carte des vins petite mais bien bons.

Un séjour inoubliable à Samara et surtout au peace and lodge! Une vue exceptionnelle depuis les hauteurs de Samara qui ne peut faire que du bien. Le peace and lodge offre par ailleurs un excellent accueil, un grand merci à Laura l’hôte pour son accompagnement et sa gentillesse!

Véritable havre de paix si vous vous rendez à Samara ( ce que je vous conseille vivement), service et nourriture excellentes, au milieu de la nature et des animaux, et une hospitalité géniale. La plus belle vue que j’ai eu au Costa Rica

This place is a hidden gem! Great calming energy, lovely pet friendly peoply, fantastic food (had my best pasta in Costa Rica) and a very nice view. Go and enjoy!

Un véritable coup de cœur pour cet établissement tenu par Laura.
Un accueil aux petits oignons et des conseils aussi bons que ceux du routards ????.
Cerise sur le gâteau, un dîner incroyable.
L'accès à l'hôtel se fait depuis une piste empêtrée en très bon état par rapport à certaines routes du pays. Mettez le mode 4x4 de votre voiture pour une ascension qui vous mènera sur les hauteurs de la playa carillo. Le point de vue est incroyable.
On recommande sans hésiter !!!

Der Preis für die schönste Aussicht in unserem 3-wöchigen Costa Rica Urlaub geht definitiv an diese Unterkunft. ???? Zweites Highlight: Brad Pig, das Hotelschwein! ???? Unser Häuschen war im Boho-Stil eingerichtet, mit einem sehr hübschen Badezimmer. Die Hängematte auf der Terrasse war auch ein optischer Hingucker. Laura war sofort zur Stelle, als die A/C ausgefallen war.
Die Anfahrt ist ohne 4x4 machbar, war aber voll beladen bei dieser Steigung auf der Schotterpiste durchaus schon eine Herausforderung, die wir bei Regen vermutlich nicht hätten meistern können. Noch schlimmer war aber die heftige Ausfahrt aus der Lodge, bei der man neben anderen Hindernissen mit ordentlich Schwung ohne Straßeneinsicht um die Kurve auf die Straße fahren muss. Wir haben das nach Tag 1 dann lieber Lauras Jungs erledigen lassen, die sich freundlicher Weise direkt dafür angeboten hatten (aber ich wollte es erst selbst einmal "erfahren" ????).

Nous y sommes allés juste pour un déjeuner. Un accueil au top, sourire et convivialité. La langouste était délicieuse le tout dans un cadre idyllique et serein.

Superbe expérience!
Petit établissement (10 personnes max), ce qui était génial étant un groupe de 7.
Très bon accueil par Laura et Pablo qui sont tous les deux aux petits soins (Laura a même été nous chercher de l’anti moustique en ville).
Le cadre est magnifique, les chambres sont très joliment décorée.
Je recommande de manger au restaurant, c’était le meilleur plat que nous avons mangé au Costa Rica.
Au plaisir d’y revenir !

Such an amazing hotel. The views are amazing the staff was so kind and accommodating. It's quiet and a great place to stay. The rooms were very clean and the breakfast was hearty and delicious. As everyone else has said you MUST have a 4 wheel drive to get to the hotel and be prepared for some seriously concentrated driving because it is not easy getting up the hills whatsoever. Also listen to them when they tell you not to follow the GPS at the end and go with their directions instead. That's the only downside but it was worth it for us with the experience we had! Very strong wifi as well

We very spontaneously decided to visit Samara and found this amazing place by accident. I contacted Laura the owner via WhatsApp and had a reply within minutes. She was very responsive, kind and very helpful. We confirmed our stay for two nights and arrived only a couple of hours later. We were greeted by a fabulous team, everyone was super kind and welcoming. Our room was already ready, even though there was not much time to prepare it. We had a bungalow with a balcony and sea view, it was simply stunning! We received great recommendations what to do in the area and the sunset tour we booked was great. In the evening, we relaxed at the bar, had some drinks and freshly made food from the own kitchen. In the morning, we also received a fresh breakfast with bread, jam, egg, bacon and a lot of fresh fruits. We had a fantastic stay and would absolutely recommend it.

Wir würden dennoch nicht wiederkommen, weil die offenen Fenster im Badezimmer uns zu viel Trubel bereitet haben: da man sie weder schließen kann, noch ein Mückenachutz davor ist, hatten wir so sensationell viele insekten inkl. Eines Skorpions im Zimmer, dass wir uns dort mit kleinen Kindern nicht völlig entspannen konnten. Wir sind sehr sechs Wochen in Costa Rica und so viele Insekten hatten wir wirklich noch nirgendwo im Zimmer.
Mit einem einfachen Mückenschutzgitter ließe sich das sicherlich sehr leicht ändern.
