The place is very beautiful. The staff was very polite and kind. The central space is very elegant and the food delicious. But the best was the spa: It was the best massage I have received.

After our 2 1/2 week trip through Namibia, the lodge was an absolute jewel along our journey and a perfect end after all the unforgettable impressions we had made.

Service is very important here. This was already apparent on our arrival. We immediately felt comfortable and welcome. The team read every wish from our lips at the service desk - we would especially like to thank Lydia and Missy. You made our stay with you so special and represent the unique quality of the lodge during our stay and the wonderful dinner.

We have travelled a lot around the world, but we have rarely seen such dedication and caring service!

Compared to many other accommodations that we have experienced, we are on the fence as to whether 3 or 4 stars are the right rating. Reasons: the areas are spacious and very well maintained, except for the children's pool, where algae stuck to the tiles. The lounge area is very inviting, the restaurant very good, however, we asked for the children's pizza if we could at least have a topping, which was impossible according to the che,f without explanation, which is a pity and somehow narrow-minded. The service and staff are super friendly, absolutely top. The rooms are very spacious. We had a family room, unfortunately there is only air conditioning in the master bedroom, the children's room and the kitchen area remain in full heat. In addition, our room had no mosquito nets, so we were at the mercy of the beasts. We still give it 4 stars because the problems mentioned are really easy to fix and we hope the accommodation will fix them.

PS: Rhino tracking is a very cool experience.

Un grand merci à Linus, le meilleur des guides pendant notre safari de fin d’après-midi. Grâce à lui nous avons pu voir girafes, gnous, zèbres, phacochères, impala, springboks, autruches….Nos enfant ont été ravis. Nous recommandons à 200%

Wir hatten ein luxury elegant Zimmer gebucht- es sollte ein Highlight werden.

Als wir ankamen war teatime- die wir nach der Ankunft direkt nutzen wollten. Dort mussten wir nochmal bei der Rezeption nachfragen, ob diese wirklich stattfinden würde, da wir nicht bedient worden sind.

Nach der ersten Verwunderung über den Service, kamen wir in unser Zimmer: lieblose Wellblechbauten, geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Das Bad war nur durch eine halbhohe Wand vom Bett getrennt. Absolut absurd konzipiert und unangenehm.

Da wir keine Lust auf das angebotene zusätzlich buchbare 3 Gang Dinner hatten, fragten wir abends nach einem kleinen Snack, der erfragte Snack ist in der hauseigenen Karte aufgeführt. Dieser wurde uns mit den Worten „dafür sind sie zu spät“ verwehrt (ca.18:00 Uhr).

Wir wurden an die Bar verwiesen bei der es Chips und Nüsse gab. Unsere bitte nach einer anderen Kleinigkeit - notfalls etwas Brot- wurde kommentarlos niedergeschmettert mit dem Verweis auf die Chips die wir ja essen könnten.

Man muss dazu betonen, dass es weit und breit keine Alternative zum Essen gibt.

Die Frau an der Rezeption war durchweg unfreundlich und abweisend. Sowas haben wir noch nicht erlebt. Wir fühlten uns sehr unwohl, seit dem Check-in.

Für den Morgen hatten wir einen Ausritt mit den Pferden der Lodge gebucht. Der Guide war sehr enthusiastisch und freundlich. Die Tour war toll, die Pferde gut zu reiten und das Equipment professionell.

Vor der Tour wollten wir noch einen Kaffee trinken- nach 15 Minuten Wartezeit haben wir das Restaurant aber wieder ohne Kaffee verlassen, obwohl wir die einzigen Gäste waren.

Es ist schade, die Lodge so schlecht zu bewerten, aber es war - auch dank der Dame an der Rezeption - mit Abstand die schlechteste Urlaubserfahrung.

Mehrere Bewertungen haben schon mal den schlechten Empfang beschrieben, daher ist es mir unverständlich, wie sowas noch durchgehen kann in einem kundenorientierten Tourismusbetrieb.

Sehr schöne Lodge mit überaus freundlichem Personal. Heute früh waren wir bei einem Game-Drive zu Nashörnern. Hat sich wirklich gelohnt. Sind per Fuß auf 4 Nashörnern getroffen und auf dem Rückweg verfolgten uns zwei sehr neugierige Nashörner. War ein tolles Erlebnis ????.

Wunderschöne Anlage, sehr gute Zimmer mit gutem Komfort und tollem Bad. Wir haben das Essen genossen und ebenso die zusätzlichen Angebote die Sonnenuntergangstour und den Rhinotrip am frühen Morgen. Kompliment an den Ranger! Dank Moses beide Touren ein tolles Erlebnis.

I thought this location was mediocre and overpriced. We stayed at much more beautiful and worthwhile areas in other parts of Namibia, and I feel this one could've been skipped. Restaurant was also mediocre.

Mountain View has superb lodges with all comforts including spa pools. Fabulous views and activities include Rhino tracking

Beautiful lodge with swimming pool and Beautiful park / game reserve. It was lovely to have a walk in the morning, when it's cool. We saw some giraffes too.

A beautiful & peaceful farm in Africa! Under 3 hours drive from Windhoek with easy access from the main road. So much to do and so much to see. Even some sundowners entertainment next to the pool! You can spend a couple of days here!!

Super verblyf, lekker kos en mooi kamers en baie vriendelike personeel. Ons plaas hierdie plek op ons lys van gunstelinge.

Nice campsites. Although the toilets were running out of toilet paper. We also did a couple nature walks. It was hard to spot animals on foot but we did learn some interesting things from our guide.

A lodge for relaxation with very friendly staff. Daily maintained and clean. Pure tranquility ‼️

Schöne Anlage und gute drives mit den guides. Auch Pferde und Ausritte angeboten (haben wir mit zwei Kindern 9 und 12) auch genutzt. Essen gut, aber viele Verwirrungen im Restaurant

Molto comodo da aeroporto e sulla strada per Etosha. Location meravigliosa con camera al vertice del concetto di "Africa chic". Personale cortese e cibo straordinario. Il miglior risotto mai mangiato fuori dall'italia. Da provare !

Belle expérience pour aller à la rencontre des rhinocéros blancs tôt le matin. Ils sont à l’état semi-sauvage et très habitués à l’homme. Cela permet de les approcher et de bien comprendre leur mode de vie. Excellente cuisine.

Privately owned resort, top class, nice big campsites, bathrooms huge and clean a cover over the bathroom would be even better especially in cold Weather.

Great place to stay. The staff was very friendly to us. The camping sites were very good and also the lodges.

We spent one night at the campsite and one night at the lodge. Both are really nice. We really enjoyed the days there a lot.
The service was awesome, and everybody was so friendly! I can really recommend it!

Amazing place to stay

Lodge met wildlife rondom. Kamers redelijk, een beetje outdated. Eten was redelijk, maar niet meer dan dat.

Will definitely see more of my private clients soon!
