Beautiful location with access to private island, very friendly staff. Somebody apparently couldn't bear the sight of our admittedly very dirty car and washed it clandestinely (without asking for a tip, by the way; we had to ask around the next day to be able to find the person and give him something). Rafting was awesome.

Ein gehobenes Zelt-Camp mit bequemen Betten und einer Dusche mit WC direkt im Anschluss an das Zelt gemauert. Man darf von dem "Bad" nicht zu viel erwarten und muss sich einfach auf die freie Natur einlassen und die direkte Lage am Fluss genießen. Die Anlage ist schön hergerichtet, das Frühstück ist okay, die Auswahl mäßig aber dafür mit Ausblick auf den Epupafluss und auf Nachfrage werden auch Omelett oder Spiegelei serviert. Der Service war freundlich, bis auf eine Mitarbeiterin, für die jede Frage und Handlung zu viel war. Es gibt keinen Safe für Wertsachen.

Direkt am Fluß im Safarizelt, sehr schön. Die Raftingtour ist zu empfehlen, trotz der Krokodile.

If you are planning a trip to Namibia and are toying with the idea of going to Epupa Falls - GO!! this was hands down one of the most amazing parts of our Namibia trip, a fair drive to get to but so worth it and Epupa Camp made it even more special. I am a person who likes to plan, I read all reviews and research a lot! I was very torn on where to stay in Epupa Falls but hands down know we made an amazing campsite choice. It is about ten minutes walk to the falls through the village, everyone is so friendly that this was lovely and you really don't need to be any closer to the falls - on our way back from viewing the falls we had a great football game with the kids in the village, and it was so much fun we did it again the following evening too.
Epupa campsite was perfection, very spacious, riverside, open air showers, gorgeous bar area to relax and have a drink at. Also a fantastic morning spent river rafting, both campsite swimming pools have river views - we were there in August so it was fresh swimming but so good!
I have nothing to fault, pure magic!
And also a great place to visit the Himba, we visited a village the day we left and it was personal, informative and just all round great!

Posizionato sul lato namibiano del fiume Kunene. Offre tende molto confortevoli. Servizio bar. Ristorante. Tour al Epupa falls view point, villaggio himba tour e rafting tra le rapide del fiume coccodrlli compresi. Da provare per i piu avventurosi.

Nous avons séjourné 1 nuit dans ce camping. Pas d'eau potable. Pas d'eau chaude, Pas d'électricité. Et un accueil nonchalant, a se demander si on gênait alors que nous étions les seuls dans le camping. Il y a d'autres adresses à Epupa. Nous ne recommandons pas celle là.

Am Ende der Welt gelegenes Camp. Gemütliche Zelte. Abends eben bissel warm zum Schlafen. Ansonsten sehr ruhig gelegen.

Siamo stati in campeggio,bella posizione in riva al fiume prima delle cascate,occhio alle scimmiette biricchine che cercano cibo.bella struttura ,piazzole ampie con servizi e braciere.

we had a really poor experience here on a camping. The biggest issue were showers and toilets - just bamboo walls without a roof and with gaps big enough that you could see somebody inside... Another issue was water quality - they claimed that water is only from the river and therefore there is no drinking water for a whole camp! only one guy managed to show us place to get clean water, otherwise we would stay there without water, or with just muddy water from their showers and taps. Another issue were palm trees - nobody told us that big and heavy palm leaves are falling down - we could have our tents destroyed, it could even end much worse! The only pro is nice neighbourhood around the pool, but it belongs rather to the lodge, not to the camp. If you can choose, take rather a camp near to the west side, closer to the waterfalls.

Le camping est très paisible au bord de la rivière. Sanitaires privés à ciel ouvert, faits d'une palissade de bambous sur laquelle gambadent quelques petits singes vervets. On peut aller à pied à la chute d'eau d'Epupa Falls (plutôt en fin de journée, contre-jour le matin).

Une oasis, au milieu des palmiers, au bord de la rivière Kunene ( sur l'autre rive l'Angola), à 2 pas des chutes Epupa, camp de toile très confortable ( grand lit, salle d'eau très correcte). Accueil très sympathique. Diner aux chandelles prés de la rivière. Organisation de visite de village Himbas ( authentique!)

Camp de toile au bord de la rivière avec une passerelle pour accéder à une petite île. Accueil chaleureux du personnel et des vervets! La "Visite" d'une communauté Himba et de l'école a été une réelle découverte. A ne pas manquer!

Un enchantement ! L'accueil est super. Les tentes ont tout le confort. Les petites attentions sont multiples (petit flacon de porto dans la tente, voiture lavée à votre départ,...) La patronne est adorable, la cuisine savoureuse. La nuit est bercée par le bruit régulier de la rivière. La visite chez les himbas a été fantastique. Un highlight de notre voyage en Namibie.
