The booked rooms were not available.
The replacement rooms are 34 degrees. The "water cooling" in them only makes things worse. Sleeping is absolutely impossible. The service staff leaves a lot to be desired. There is no fridge in the rooms. The water from the tap and the shower is extremely hot. Cold is not possible. There is a board at the entrance of the pool with *guidelines* well, that's an absolute joke. Everyone eats and drinks in the pool. The children run around and even jump on the loungers, nobody cares - not even the parents. All the children are screaming and the service staff encourage the people and children to do so. All in all, it's absolutely outrageous to charge around 3500NAD per night.

Tolle und gepflegte Anlage mit sehr erfrischendem Pool. Die Campsite ist sehr schön und ruhig gelegen. Wir wären gerne noch länger geblieben!

This was the worst place we stayed in two weeks in Namibia. The room, in a block of 8, smelt damp despite a water cooler provided. The vehicles park outside your door so this is noisy!
There is a resident dog that wanders around the pool area and poops - yes, dogs do this, but the reception were not in the least bit interested and nobody came to remove it from beside the sunbed. Other guests were eating and drinking whilst in the pool, staff turned a blind eye.
Food is mediocre, no choice with the evening meal. Breakfast not very exciting either.
Unfortunately there is little choice in accommodation in the area so they have custom!
Wifi available at the main lodge / pool area but only with an individual code and it runs out so you have to go get another one!
There is a resident dog that wanders around the pool area and poops - yes, dogs do this, but the reception were not in the least bit interested and nobody came to remove it from beside the sunbed. Other guests were eating and drinking whilst in the pool, staff turned a blind eye.

Strange place. Nice views of the mountains. Nice pool area. Food is ok. Facilities do not cater for the environment. 39 degrees celcius in the room. No air conditioning. No wifi in the rooms. No cell phone reception. No tv reception (no tv's either?) Nevertheless absolutely top prices charged. Not quaint, not special. Will never ever consider staying here again.

Tolle Campsite. Alles sauber, viel Platz, alles gut.

The approach to the lodge, both along the national C35 and D2359 were punishingly corrugated (averaging 20km/h) which is bad enough but the lodge's own approach road is also poorly graded - that's down to them.
The campsites are spacious and well appointed with nearby toilets/ablutions, sink, shade and braai pit.
A walk from campsites to reception/lodge is harsh during the day and overly long but the facilities at the lodge itself are worth the effort. 2 clean pools, bar, shade and pet meerkats.
The restaurant snacks are good although the set dinner is simple and overpriced.

Wir waren hier auf der Campsite. Das Campingareal ist riesig und die Plätze sehr groß. Hier kann man sich aus dem Weg gehen, wenn man möchte. Die offenen Toiletten und Duschen ohne Dach (unverändert seit 10 Jahrens sind für den Preis mal renovierungsbedürftig und wie gesagt bei Regen echt nicht zu gebrauchen. Hier sieht man gut, dass das Geld nur in die Lodge investiert wird. Schade.

Eine sehr holprige Straße führt zur White Lady Lodge. Wir waren auf dem Campingplatz, wo wir für Strom und private unüberdachte Dusche und Toilette 70 Namibische Dollar extra bezahlen mussten. Leider hat es ausgerechnet an dem Tag, an dem wir ankamen geregnet, wodurch wir direkt den Nachteil einer nicht überdachten Toilette zu spüren bekommen haben (nasses Klo + nasses Toilettenpapier…). Die Anlage an sich ist schön angelegt, die Pools sehr sauber und die Mitarbeiter zum Großteil freundlich. Im namibischen Winter sollte nicht vergessen werden, dass hier regelmäßig über 40 Grad Außentemperatur erreicht werden!

Piękne miejsce na trasie, basen, dobre jedzenie miła obsługa, niestety spotkała nas tam burza piaskowa a po niej normalna deszczowa, wszystko było w piasku, a łazienki są otwarte! Przystępne cenowo

Worst experience on our Namibia trip and absolute rip off!
3800 NAD for a room w/o aircon which felt like sleeping in a motel at 30 degrees celsius and no wind circulation plus damp smell - thats what you get at White Lady Lodge. The provided water cooler made the whole situation worse, as it increased the humidity in the room, despite open windows and door.
Staying there actually took away a whole day of our trip, as neither my partner nor I were able to sleep under these conditions. The rooms are noisy - you can overhear conversations from 4 rooms further because the walls are so thin. When our neighbours arrived with their car at 09 PM - their car light lit up our whole room because of the motel-type style of the rooms.
The breakfast was fine - but because we were super tired, not enjoyable either.
Last aspect to notice, which I got to know through third parties: We went to do a walking tour to see the rock art in the mountains close by and the Namibian guide revealed that the lodge applies racist behaviour and doesnt welcome people of certain heritage.

Beautiful lodge with a nice restaurant and a pool to relax. They have a campsite, a little further away from the main building.
The campsite is very good value considering that you have access to the restaurant, and pool!
We were lucky to see elephants walk through the camp in the evening! What an experience!

Tolle Lage der Lodge am Brandberg und am Ugab, tolle große Campside, tolle Bungalows, schönes Hauptgebäude mit Sundowner Felsen; leider war das Buffet am Abend sehr lieblos und einer Lodge nicht gerechtfertigt (viel zu trockenes Fleisch, lieblose Auswahl an Beilagen); da gibt es in Namibia auf anderen Lodges wesentlich bessere Qualität

I loved this place! Such beautiful scenery and awesome amenities. I would definitely recommend coming here as a family, as the kids will be very entertained too. I would love to come back here soon!

Sehr sympathische Gastgeber!
Wir haben auf der weitläufigen Campsite übernachtet und waren in der Lodge am Pool genauso willkommen.

Traumhaft gelegene Lodge mit sehr nettem Personal. Wir hatten uns in ein Baumhaus eingemietet was, aus unserer Sicht, die beste Wahl war. Das Essen und der morgendliche Game Drive (incl Elefantensichtungen) waren perfekt. Wir kommen definitiv wieder.????

Spend a night camping and tracking desert elephants. Great location, nice lodge / restaurant. Desert elefants turned out to be less than 2km away from camp. We also enjoyed the game drive into the Ugab -- you can see some Welwitschas growing on the rocks.

The 2 tamed meerkats Mila and Jack were a great hit with my kids. The food ordered at the bar was great, but the set dinner menu in the evening was very disappointing! Also, make sure of the pricing for rides etc. The menu and what they actually charge differs. The woman checking out before us had a huge argument with them about it. It took forever to pay and check out. Be sure to check your bill.

Wir haben dort in 2 Bett Hütten übernachtet. Für eine hiesige Lodge ok. Mitten im Lager befindet sich ein kleiner felsiger Hügel von dem man wunderbar den Sonnenuntergang in den nahen Brandbergen beobachten kann.

Joli lodge dans un très beau cadre
Le Brandberg White Lady Lodge est un très bel endroit situé en plein cœur du désert. Les espaces communs (à l'intérieur comme en extérieur) sont bien aménagés, bien entretenus et très agréables. Les bungalows sont isolés les uns des autres et assez loin de la réception, ce qui permet d'être vraiment au calme. Nous avons logé dans un bungalow au confort certes un peu rustique, mais la literie était très confortable et tout était propre. Nous avons dîné au restaurant et le repas était très bon et très copieux. Le personnel s'est toujours montré très sympathique et serviable. Le petit déjeuner était correct. Un lieu que je recommande pour se reposer dans un très beau cadre.

J'ai adoré ce camping !
On se retrouve dans un cadre très naturel avec des animaux en tout genre ( des chèvres aux éléphants). Le site du Brandberg n'est pas très loin du camping.
Je vous conseille d'escalader un peu les roches qui se trouvent au dessus du bar. Vue magnifique au coucher de soleil !

Après plusieures heure de route dans la poussière du Damaraland, nous avons eu l'impression d'arriver dans un véritable oasis : piscine, jardin luxuriant, restaurant et... Bière à la pression ! Le camping quand à lui est simple mais les sanitaires propres. Cerise sur le gâteau, les éléphants du désert qui se promènent au coucher su soleil aux portes du domaine. Je recommande cette étape.

Das Dinner war mittelmäßig. Steaks waren zäh und nicht genießbar.
Das Personal hat sich toll bemüht und war sehr dienst beflissen.
Eine Reifenpanne während eines Sunset Drives hat dann auch dieses Erlebnis zerstört. Wir konnten an einem anderen Tag den Sunset Drive wiederholen.
